Hello! Welcome to another AL game run by AL DM (aka Bookrat) here on the Paizo boards!
This is a short adventure; I expect it to last 3-8 weeks. You have to opportunity to earn one permanent magical item and anywhere from 450-600 XP.
Special Notice: This is Part 1 of 6 for Knives for Torin Nomerthel. I will be running Part 2 of 6 next. That's all there is. Part 3 has not been published yet. Let's hope it's coming in the next season!
Rules for joining this game:
1) An AL legal PC of level 1-4
2) A promise to post within 24 hours (48 hours on the weekend) of one of my "Push Posts," which I will label. It should be obvious - a push post is one that moves the story forward.
If you do not do this, you risk being skipped. You have no room to complain for being skipped if you do not post within the time limit. Be warned.
3) Post your action even if it's not your turn. This speeds up the game. Actions can be reposted if necessary, and I can always alter your action to best suit you and your party.
4) Experience required: None! Even if you've never played 5e or AL, you can join!
5) Number of Players Required: 3-7
6) Acceptance if First Come, First Serve! Recruitment ends in one week or when we reach capacity. If you're new, have your PC built by the end of the week. If you're experienced, please provide me with your log sheets.

In general, use a 27 point buy (start at 8, see phb for costs). Pick a race, class, background, and faction. Class determines starting equipment (can buy/sell in game or between games, but not before first game). Only PHB + 1 additional book are allowed (your choice); this limit does not apply to backgrounds.

Hi AL DM. I have a level 3 wizard that I started back when 5e Adventure League was brand new and have not played him since. I played at Dragon Con a few years back. I'll have to dust him off. But I am learning the rules again and am already playing in two 5e PBP games.
I am at work and the character is at home so I cannot provide details until I get home. Can I get a slot based on that or do I need to have my alias updated and submitted?

We have three potential players in the rafters, so the first one to submit a character will be in (sorry, Skorn, but as there's a lot of interest, I have to accept based on provided character sheet).
If you're not accepted, don't fret, there will be more games, soon! Aeshuura should be freed up in a few more weeks, and I don't think Kip has any AL games at the moment, so we can expect one from him. Spinningdice has been known to run AL games here and there, too.
