Scramsax |
Scramsax feels like a bucket of ice water was just poured all over him, his bites and slashes infused with the conjurative healing of Sashah. With a renewed energy he waits for Dwalar to distract the monstrosity before going in for the kill...

If Main attack kills it, I will move up and use Offhand attack on the lowest hp one attacking Fenri. If main and offhand are required I will still close to Fenri but not all the way to melee, ill stay 10 ft away
Aeshuura |
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 Scramsax stabs in twice, but the creature fails to stay down!
Faroris |
Trusting Saphina to handle the one zombie for a few moments, Faroris continues to focus on backing up Fenri, throwing another beam of crackling energy at the zombie she's fighting.
Eldritch Blast on brown: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 6
Aeshuura |
The blast blows off a chunk of flesh, revealing the bone beneath! The beast continues coming!
Aeshuura |
Okay, Saphina, Dwalar, and Fenri to go. Sashah, would you like to ready an action maybe?
Aeshuura |
Dwalar, thrown off by the attack, cannot find the angle to swing his blade with any strength!
Saphina and Fenri left this round!
Aeshuura |
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 Crap. The undead raptor takes the hit, stumbles a bit, but continues to Saphina!
Fenri's second swing, this time on the remaining zombie beast, takes its head clean off!
Okay, Saphina, you may take your shot!
Saphina Greenfoot |
Saphina has plenty of time to prepare as the little undead creature lumbers her way. She prepares her sword to intercept.

The beast moves so slowly that it is not able to bite before Saphina can take a second strike!
The raptor zombie on Dwalar bites at him again! 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 It clamps down on the dwarf's neck! Sorry man! Dwalar takes another 8 hp of damage! Are you down?
Okay, you are all up!

Scramsax makes a good quick slice with his right hand, but gets dwarf blood splattered in his eye, throwing off his second attack.
Aeshuura |
Actually, I think Sashah might still be close enough to grant you sneak attack.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
The pressure on Dwalar's neck lightens and the creature (yellow) collapses!
One left!
Saphina Greenfoot |
If the creature still unlives after Fenri, Saphina plunges with her Rapier once again.

Dwalar Halfbeard |
Yep I'm down. Sheesh, this has not been my game.
The zombie's jaws close on Dwalar's neck, and for the second time in as many minutes, he loses consciousness.

The beast is still reeling from Ferni's hit, when Faroris' blast takes the creature right in the eye, sending it back to the stillness of death!
Whew, combat over... though Dwalar is still down...
The child, frantic, clings to Saphina after the last creature is felled, and within a minute, falls asleep in the little halfling's arms. Saphina notices that the pole that she was using to fend off the beasts is of fine craftsmanship...
Assuming that Sashah either stabilizes or heals Dwalar...
Within about 15 minutes, the girl's mother arrives with the guards, who quickly set about to secure the area. In that time you are able to investigate the area, you find a quite dead body, trampled and rent in the pens, near the feeding trough. There are the remains of a mangled scroll and a rectangular satchel on the ground beside her.
The satchel has an unknown symbol emblazoned on the buckle, and contains a jade statuette of a serpent swallowing a giant orb along with some religious ornaments and personal effects. The more observant of you (with Passive Perception of 11 or higher) notice a fair amount of silvery blue paste smudged on the inside of the satchel flap.

Sashah produces a mortar and pestle, as well as two vials. One vial contains a dark watery liquid and the other has a silvery blue paste.
As you inspect the mortar and pestle, it seems there are traces of both substances in there.
You barely have enough time to come to that conclusion before you hear the guards approaching. A tanned human male caps a metal flask, wipes his mouth on a sleeve, then stumbles past the contingent. Some of you know him as Soggy Wren, the Harpers contact. Recognizing Sashah, Saphina, and Fenri, he stumbles his way over, Well, well, what have you got derr?
The smell of alcohol is strong on his breath, and he seems to know it, throwing you all a wink and a broad smile. You see his eyes wander to the vial of paste, Wuzziss?
Assuming Sashah is willing to pass it along, Soggy Wren removes the stopper and takes a whiff. He blinks for a few seconds, Wanderlosht?
He nods indicating that it is okay to leave the area, brushing off the guards as you pass them.
Pleashe allow me to keep thish and bring it to the Mershant Prinshes, and we will get to de bottom o this. Take thish in thanks, and you can keep de shtuff in de shatchel... Soggy Wren passes Sashah a spell scroll. ice knife
As he wanders off, he calls out to you all, Mebbe I will be callin upon you again, onshe we figgur out what ish going on herre... Take a break, you desherve it! Enjoy yer win!
--
Aftermath, you return to Alastar Bol with his bet marker and he happily thanks you for your doing that favor for him.
And we are done! I will figure out your rewards for this game and post them in the Discussion thread! Thank you all for making this a fun game! I do hope that you all enjoyed it!
Aeshuura |
Also, if pressed, Soggy Wren tells you that the Wandedrlost is something akin to 'magic mushrooms' or peyote where it is often used by native tribes to go on vision quests and such. It is believed that you can affect the astral and border ethereal with the substance...
Aeshuura |
Oh yeah, I forgot! The mother of the little girl, after some time with her daughter, returns and approaches Saphina with the hooked pole, Please, we want you to have this, it was her father's guiding pole. She wants you to have it.
It is a +1 quarterstaff if anyone wants it.
Dwalar Halfbeard |
Dwalar awakens again under Sashah's healing magic. He groans as he sits up.
"If I keep knockin' on Death's door like this, one o' these days it's gonna answer."
Thanks for the heals, Sashah. And thanks DM for the game!
Aeshuura |
You got it!! Thanks for being a good sport, you just got hammered this game! At least you leveled to 2nd! ;)
Saphina Greenfoot |
Yep, thanks alot for running it Aeshuura. Ive been thinking about running one myself to spread the wealth of 5e AL stuff here, just havnt pulled the trigger yet.
Aeshuura |
No limit on magic items, but some require attunement and those you can only have 3 attuned at one time. Then lower permanent magic items count gets first pick when there are two or more players that want a specific item.
Aeshuura |
Faroris, be sure to note it on your logsheet.
Sashah want the ice knife scroll?
