The vote seeming to favor showing the statue to Doomguide Yovir, at least before selling it, you bring the statue to the the Graveyard at Valhingen. The elder priest looks it over in curiosity, and after a good half-bell (hour), he informs you that he believes that this may be able to fix Yip's broken mind, especially since he is certain that this object was what shattered the poor villager's psyche to begin with.

He says, if he is not able to save the man's mind, it will need to be destroyed, for an item this dangerous cannot pass into circulation. To allow that would be irresponsible.

Of course, with all of that being said, he does say that it is ultimately your decision. You did the work, and all he can give is advice. He does ask for the opportunity to try to repair Yip's mind though.

What would you all like to do? The statue is essentially a magic item that draws out what the target knows, but the side effect is that it breaks the mind of the target. It is undoubtedly an Evil magic item.

Yip is the man that is at the temple in the Valhingen Graveyard (where you are currently). You do not have to go far.

Dispel magic will not work, it will only temporarily suppress the magic. Otherwise, you would be able to destroy someone's permanent magic item with a 3rd level spell. ;)

Doomguide Yovir says that the circle of his highest ranking clerics should be able to destroy it with a ritual. A circle of high order wizards could also destroy it. Any costs involved will be covered by the church.

Oh, right! You also need to decide who will take the ring of evasion and the two potions of healing! Lowest amount of permanent magic items gets first pick! If you cannot decide, I will chose randomly.

I wouldn't say no to any of them, but I'd feel guilty about taking them from anyone who doesn't already have a Dex Save proficiency and ability to cast healing spells.

A ring of evasion would be nice, as long as I'm not treading on anyone's toes. But Sizzle already has pretty good dex, so I'd be content with getting more healing ability instead.

This ring has 3 charges, and it regains 1d3 expended
charges daily at dawn. When you fail a Dexterity saving
throw while wearing it, you can use your reaction

Sizzle can have the ring, we've got equal Dex Save bonus' and mine will improve eventually with proficiency (unless anyone else pipes up obviously)
I'll take a potion, unless Eilren or Balyzar want them, in which case I'm happy to let them take them (after all I can cast healing spells)
