Cold eyes detects no evil from the corpse and can tell it is not alive, the cauldron glows with an eery blue light when he casts detect evil upon it!

Bedlam looks around the room and sees that the inside ofthe cottage is dank, reeking, and filled with shadows.Haphazardly hung shelves line the walls, covered in all manner of clay jugs, clouded bottles, strangely cut rocks, rotted bunches of herbs, and a museum of other crude curios and remnants of a bone grinder’s artifice. A rusted iron cauldron, with a mouth nearly 5 feet wide and a depth of at least 3 feet, dominates the hut’s single room, its ash-covered surface shaped with a relief of capering fiends and leering devils. Across from the door, against the far walls, stands a highbacked chair made of wicker, the gigantic curved tusks of some monstrous beast, and thousands of human teeth. In the chair sits what looks like a corpse wrapped in filthy burial linens, its form padded with pungent herbs and sprouting patches of thick white mold.

Bedlam slowly enters the cabin, suspiciously peering around for trouble, traps, and trips!

Cold Eyes walks towards the glowing cauldron and takes a sniff

Cold Eyes kicks over the cauldron, spilling any contents onto the floor.

Fulito takes a wiff of the air and is none to pleased of the aroma but after a moment or two he eventually enters the building.

i dont think there is anyone that can help us anymore in here.

He makes his way to the shelves full of oddities.

Looking over the collection of stuff (at least what is within his reach) what is it that we need again he ponders out loud.

Searching among the stuff for anything he can recall as needed.

After About 20 minutes of searching through the hut cold eyes, Bedlam and Morzul turn up nothing of interest, but Fulito finds Several small statuettes that look like they are worth something, he also uncovers several dusty containers and inside one of those containers he finds what appears to be the rats tail that they have been looking for...as the group turns to leave, he notices hanging from a hook directly above the door, what appears to be a very mysterious shrunken head....

You notice that the cauldron that was tipped over earlier has magically righted itself, no one has touched the cauldron that you are aware of..

As Fulito pockets the statues and the rat tails that's nothing, I do that all the time without help, nobody called me a witch. At least as far as I can remember.

The groups leave the cottage and stop outside for a moment to take a breath of fresh air after being in the dank musty cottage, the sun is shinning brightly and the vale is quiet..almost too quiet..the several dozen lawn ornament that are scattered around out front seem to stare at the adventurers with a cold menacing stare..and from inside the hut they here what sounds like cold iron being scraped across stone and what sound like the jaws of a bear trap snapping shut over and over..

What do you do?

Bendorf and Cold eyes do not perceive anything further, and no further sounds can be heard from the cottage...the vale is still ominously quiet not even a bird can be heard.

sorry bout being silent got wrapped up in other things for a bit--I really wish when DM's no longer wish to run thier game they would move it to inactive already...

Fulito listens to all sides of the discussion. on one hand we have leave here and never come back, but on the other hand we have leave but maybe come back, and on the next hand we have stay here and fight something that just might kill us. And finally in the last hand we have the desire to eat pie.

I am not much in combat but if you like Will do my best to glorify your names in my journal and when it gets published you will heros of the vale.

Otherwise lets just be on our way, please.

Ok we will move forward to the monastery, I have to warn you though that when the HD on my computer dies I lost the maps I had made, and I wont have time to make a new one for a few days, If you want to continue on with just me describing the surrounding until then we can do that if you want, Let me know..=}
