Meh. Just don't love Baer build/character. With the slow pacing sometimes, I find it hard to keep in mind all that she can do mechanically because it's slow...I don't have a great feel for her class and if we're going slow, then details slip, let alone character stuff. If I come back into the campaign, it will be something that I don't have to worry that much about.

Just saying that after a few weeks of thinking about it, I haven't found a character or a story that I'd like to tell with that character within CotCT. I won't be coming back, not because I don't appreciate the GM or the party, but that I'm lacking the motivation to make it go.

Yeah, scorching ray was going to Vencario.


I just discovered something... you went a bit faster through the book than I expected, and should've had a level up before heading to the Arkona Palace. A single level wouldn't have helped much versus that insane asura, but it might've meant one less character death earlier on.

Then there was the entire Palace, which you skipped due to simply not having a reason to explore it, and the underground complex, most of which you also skipped due to finding a shortcut to the Seneschal. So right about now should be the time for yet another level up.

I'm going to give you both levels right now. As further compensation for my forgetfulness earlier on I'll throw in something else, which I'll post in the gameplay threat soon.

We'll proceed once everyone's fully updated to level 9.

Interesting arcana! I quite like it. As a caster it's good to have something up your sleeves that can help versus enemies with spell resistance.

Guys, i'm in need of 1 player.

In the spirit of approaching Halloween, i'm composing a 1-shot from 3PP Publisher material, for a group of my PBP regulars.
Unfortunately, 1 is indisposed, and 1 i haven't heard the decision of yet.
If anyone'd be interested, it involves making a lvl 5 PC from PFS legal material, on a 10k budget.
The two that are on board are likely to be an UC rogue and a skald.

Since the material varies, building an anti [insert monster type] PC isn't jackpot per sé. Versatility ftw.

The setting would involve a small town and a forested area. Most likely involving missing persons, strange monsters and a curse.

I was thinking of starting Thursday/Friday, with the usual 1 a/day weekdays minimum.

2 outside of the regulars have shown interest, so it's a 4 member party atm.
There's an uncertain element of a friend of one of the others, yet to respond to him, so whoever is fastest completes the party.

Skald, UC rogue, a universalist wizard, and one is making a warpriest.
