With 2 of my dming games coming to a close and many of the games I'm playing coming to a close I'd like to run one of my favorite modules, Crypt of the Everflame.

1. I'll try to get a party of 6, no more than three 1/1 Babers. At most three Arcana classes and Magus counts. At most 3 3/4 Babers, that way I have at least a semi-balanced party.
2. Heads up, I don't have PDF for this, but the paperback book, there are some minor differences, like the paperback book does not have the chronicle sheets, though I can easily pull them up as I know what they look like, because one of my characters owns one.
3. This is a dungeon crawl, and beyond the first room there is no light, so bring darkvision or a source of light with you. If you are a magic user, it is recommened you have light a cantrip, and I'll assume that you keep casting it upon it going out, that way I don't have to remind you. Perception is useful here, and acrobatics.
4. Maps will not be detailed color they will be drawn out squares and stuff on google docs, especially since I don't have the PDF to copy them from. If you have a copy of the PDF, you are more than welcome to put up the more detailed colored maps for me, but otherwise you are stuck with colored in circles and squares and wording labels, this is a pool, etc.
5. Have fun.
6. I'd like to see some submissions.

Hi there DoubleGold.

I was wondering what sort posting speed you were looking for?

Liberty's Edge

I'd like to submit my level 1 Ranger, famous halfling stuntman Theadric Greyhood!

:)

At least once per 48 hour period, but in combat I bot for those who disappear more than 36 hours, if you want your character to do nothing in combat or out of combat at least say that so I don't think you forgot about the game.

Scarab Sages

Just as general information, the chronicle sheets can be downloaded as a separate file from a link of the product page of the module (for free) here on the site;

http://paizo.com/products/btpy89c9?Pathfinder-Module-Crypt-of-the-Everflame

Which is actually true for all the PFS sanctioned modules.

Also, showing interest in playing since I haven't played this one yet.
But I'd need to import a character for pbp games (thinking about a Skald at the moment), or make a new one..so no link to character yet.

Thanks for the answer, I think I'll pass on the game though, bit slower than I would find comfortable.

Grand Lodge

I have a question. How long would it take to do this? I would submit this character, but there is a con in 5 weeks i want to use him there.

I will keep this game moving at all times, but this is a 32 page module, so I can't make any promises, nor can I estimate how long it will take.

Silver Crusade

Local Paladin of Iomedae here...

Silver Crusade

Inquisitor here.

The Exchange

Battle Oracle here.

The Exchange

1st level Tiefling barbarian, PFS legal. Has a GM credit dating Aug 2014.

If the full BAB are slotted, I also a level 1 cleric available

Sovereign Court

Since the party seems to be short a skill monkey, I would be happy to roll an Investigator :-)

The Exchange

The Lionel is applying for this module. His last session was fun and fast, so I'm hoping that this party will be as well. You can find whatever information you need on the character page. I will update my backstory with my PFS experiences.

Question, though, Lionel is Core only, is it possible for me to get credit from this table, and still be able to be Core only afterwards?

If not, I will not be applying.

Thank you, all!

EDIT: Did the research, seems like it's not an option. Good luck with the game, all!

Sovereign Court

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Lionel, you can only play the game as Core if the rest of the table agree to play a Core game with Core characters and the GM runs it as a Core game. Hope that helps.

I could not run this game as core only, because then I would have to look up the abilities of all the monsters to see if they own any non-core stuff and fix them appropriately, that is a lot of work for me. Plus as a DM, I get to apply credit to one of my characters as well and I don't have any core only characters, which I'm pretty sure I would need.

Applicants:
Theadric Greyhood-Ranger (1st Baber)
Orwynn Duskscale-Paladin (I forgot about Paladins when I mentioned Full Babers, Paladins get a slot of their own as they are not your tradional Full Babers)
Asterion-Inquistor (1st, 3/4 Baber)
Garg-Oracale (2nd, 3/4 Baber)
Karuut-Barbarian (2nd Baber)
Luke-Parry-Investigator (3rd, 3/4 Baber)

Assuming Luke gets his up, we will have a full party.

Well, no rogues, also a 3/4 Baber, the good news is that 95% of all traps in this game you can go around or jump over if you can spot them. At least one of you has disable device, right? If not I hope you all have a really good acrobatics.

Dark Archive

This is The Lion Cleric, applying with a smooth-talking swindler of a sorcerer. Talks with a country accent. Never buy a horse off this guy. Chucks a mean snowball.

EDIT: Please ignore if recruitment is closed. Decided I probably need a non-Core character, and this is a concept I wanted to play for a while.

The Exchange

We don't need a rogue. With a paladin on point, he'll find the traps for us.

Theadric Greyhood-Ranger (1st Baber)
Orwynn Duskscale-Paladin (I forgot about Paladins when I mentioned Full Babers, Paladins get a slot of their own as they are not your tradional Full Babers)
Asterion-Inquistor (1st, 3/4 Baber)
Garg-Oracale (2nd, 3/4 Baber)
Karuut-Barbarian (2nd Baber)
George Chadwick Parker (our one and only arcana person)

Sorry, Luke, but considering he submitted the only arcana, he gets priority, since you two were the last to try to get in.

Dark Archive

I'd like to apologise to Luke if he feels like I'm stealing his spot. It wasn't my intention and I hope that he doesn't feel offended by it. I didn't even notice his post until DoubleGold posted.

The gameplay and dicussion are up, on another note, my dwarven gunslinger did drop out of a Crypt game, so someone can take my place there. this one

Sovereign Court

No problem - since you apparently don't need a trap-finder, my investigator would have been superfluous, anyway ;-)

anyway, Luke, you can try that other one where my dwarf gunslinger dropped out, as they probably don't need a gunslinger anyway.

The thing with a core game is only with the PC. The PC's have to be Core only, whatever is in the mod is in the mod, whether it is Core or Non-Core.

I could be wrong, but that is how I understand the new dual-system.

okay, so as soon as the other 2 players post something in discussion and gameplay, I can get started with my first combat.

Sovereign Court

@DoubleGold: I could, but your reason for dropping from the game would probably be a contra-indication for me to join it.

Have fun, guys!

oh, no I didn't drop because I wanted to DM and just give someone else a spot. I dropped because the game was going too slow and I wanted to use my characters elsewhere, having played it before, it wasn't worth the wait.
