I just had someone drop out of my Council of Thieves game yesterday. If you're interested, I'll warn you that the pace of that game is slow. We're nearing the end of Book 1 and our two year anniversary is this summer.
Remaining players are a
Human witch
Half-elf rogue (thug)
Human barbarian (brutal pugilist)
Half-orc fighter/sorcerer
(all Level 2)

Leveled as well. I picked up Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Bastard Sword) for my cavalier bonus feat to make use of that magical one we found. Smoke picked up a extra 2 AC from a natural armor increase, as well as +1 STR and DEX and Devotion.

Quick strategy session?
I can resist energy on anyone who wants to close with the dragon and deal with all that.
I can blind the guards with fog cloud, sleet storm and the like. If we can keep them in them sightless, we all might be able to focus on the dragon and bring it down, before we try to deal with everything else, like those nas hounds and archers. While I start laying down the cover spells, does anyone have any ranged attacks to harrass the dragon? I can drop a few lightning blasts on it, after I get the other spells cast.
Who is taking the potion of flying and trying to close with it, if anyone? That's the person who probably needs the resist energy, I think.
If we get the dragon down, we can take our time with the archers and study the bridge to see if we can bring it down.
Anyone have any thoughts about this?

Obviously I am best on horseback, but I suppose I'm also the best option for close up dragon fighting. I don't know if we could make Smoke capable of flight and logistically have her fly, even with handle animal. I suppose the only problem with flying up to fight the dragon is then being far away from inevitable healing, particularly if it gets a lot of natural attacks. I can issue my second and last challenge on the dragon, which lowers my AC against all other targets, though the others would theoretically be focused on you guys.

I hate to say it with this huge fight starting., but I am going on vacation tomorrow and won't have internet access for 5 days. I am going to try and post from my girlfriend's phone, but I don't know how reliable that will be, so if I am absent I apologize. In case I can't post, I'll fully trust the group and DM with Ambrose's actions. He will simply try to take on as much of the dragon as possible and protect the rest of the group. I think he will just leave Smoke in the woods for this one, unless one of you on the ground would like to ride her for the battle for some extra mobility? Again, apologies, and I will try to post from the phone for sure.

Hey Woodsmoke hope you had a good break. I've posted up the hobgoblins' moves now. Don't forget that Ambrose has the following spell effects cast on him - enlarge person, fly, resist energy (acid, I'm assuming), protection from evil, and haste (I think). More than enough to take on a little, measly dragon! :)

Helaku |

I posted in CHH's Serpent's Skull game about this, but I'm headed to Ireland for a family vacation tomorrow and will be gone until the end of the month. I do plan to try to post while I'm gone, but if I run into connection issues or simply lack of time, that's the reason. Since we're in a pretty climactic scene I'll try to stay on top of things.
Helaku is planning to begin blasting the bridge, pending whether he thinks blasting an inanimate object will cause his invisibility to go away.

Hey there Werner, could you tell me what spells Shaylar has for his wizard level? While I was NPCing him when you were away, had him cast a magic missile, I was trying to think what spells would appeal to an archer.
Hope everything's going well with the family.
Helaku, hope you're having a great time in Ireland, what an awesome place - I love it there.

Aleste |

It is very cool. We got to go in a castle today!
Y'know how it's really easy to forget to appreciate the things around you. You just get blase about them.
Well, I haven't been to a castle for months and last time I was a bit disappointed because the falconry had been cancelled.
Your post just put a huge smile on my face. I've decided, we're going to Kenilworth Castle at the weekend.
:D

Yeah, it was pretty amazing. Nice being in the Sagamore too as the high ceiling made it not quite as loud as I'd feared. Will be interesting to see what they do next year. Not sure if Paizo keeps that space or if it potentially goes back to WOTC. Probably depends who signs up as the top level sponsors.

Helaku |

I'll request the
- Wand of Magic Missiles
- Potion of Invisibility
- Potion of Cure Serious Wounds
I'm ok selling other consumables or with anyone else claiming them. Also happy if someone else wants to claim either of the potions. I think Helaku makes the most sense for the wand.

Ambrose Harrowfield |

Aside from the sword I already took, I think I am good as far as the equipment goes. I guess we could divvy up the healing potions? Other than that I'm down for anyone else taking the rest or selling whatever we need.

Ok, have updated the treasure list with your requests.
Leonar, as it happens gauntlets of ogre power didn't translate as seamlessly into Pathfinder as other items from 3.5. Treat the gauntlets as per a +2 belt of giant strength, except that they are worth a bit more as they take up an atypical item slot, in Pathfinder parlance.
Feel free to divide the healing potions any way you like, but if it's reasonable you could divide them as so:
Aleste - 2 Cure Moderate, 1 Cure Light
Ambrose - 3 Cure Moderate
Helaku - 1 Cure Serious, 1 Cure Light
Leonar - 3 Cure Moderate
Shaylar - 3 Cure Moderate
I think actually that it might be Leonar that has flaming sphere, but as there are so many flasks of alchemist's fire you might find them helpful to divide equally amongst yourselves as well.
If you have anymore requests, just let me know. Otherwise your individual shares of the sold treasure is 2,842gp each.
