PaizoCon Uk was indeed a blast, had a great time. I think I may have been the only person in the end who came down from Scotland, but it was great to see quite a few international players joining in. The Grand Convocation was excellent.
Let me know what you all want to do next. I'm going to start a treasure thread, to help keep track of loot.

You might also want to work out between you on the discussion thread things like marching order, watch order, and if you are intending to travel to Jorr's on the road or through the wood. You never know when such things may become important...
Marching Order
Generally, I'd prefer to have Helaku in the middle for either single or double file. He's probably our squishiest character so let's keep some folks around him. Abukcheech will be perched on his shoulder, but ready to disappear under his clothes at the sign of trouble. He will only leave Helaku to fly when sent for scouting.
Watch Order
Would prefer Helaku to take an early or late shift rather than middle. No strong preference between those. He has poor Perception (+0) and no low light or darkvision. Abukcheech helps some, boosting Helaku's Perception to +2 and Abukcheech has a Perception of +9. Helaku would keep him close at hand while on watch (i.e. not scouting)
Travel to Jorr's
I'd vote for traveling on the road unless we are specifically warned against it or if going through the wood would be much faster.
Anyone have objections to a new member of the party? I have a cousin who has taken an interest in Pathfinder (played D&D years ago) and has asked about joining one of my online games. He's going to have a look and let me know, said to feel free to play any character but that a healer might be handy - :)

No objections and someone with greater healing capabilities than poor Aleste would be great. Actually, even just having CLW on your spell list to use a wand out of combat would be helpful.
Sure. Cleric of course would be the most obvious choice, but a druid, paladin, or even bard or ranger could perhaps suit. I've not heard back from Justin now, but if he ends up declining someone has messaged me a while a back about joining the group, I could see if he's still interested.
Hey everyone, I have someone who is keen to join the group, will be playing a druid. He'll be posting at some point to introduce himself, and we'll get him into the game. Watch this space.
Hey guys, I'm the prospective Druid! I love RHoD, and am excited to get to join in.
I'll need a day or so to get a sheet together, but I have been thinking bout a Lion Shaman for a while. I've wanted to give it a try and see how it feels. If I take the Liberation domain, I can get some nifty cleric-ish Domain spells to help with conditional issues.

Hey Gerald...a familiar face! You've got your lax S+S GM/Feigr/Baolo here too! Welcome! I've never gotten past the concept phase with a lion shaman so I don't think I'm going to be much help. I have wanted to try one for a while too, but it has never clicked. Will be interesting to see how yours develops.
I'm from San Diego, though I'm posting from the UK. And not all lawyers are that bad :) I'm a librarian, and I've been gaming off and on since late 80s too.
Welcome, Leo. I first started playing way back in the early 80's and then took time off from gaming, but have been playing pbps on these boards for a number of years now. I'm in Arlington, Virginia, and yep, I'm a lawyer, too.
Hey Boom, I was just looking at Shaylar's stats, with his high Intelligence shouldn't he have another 1st-level spell? Also wondered, you might have missed out some of his wizard abilities (arcane school and abilities, arcane bond).

Hey there, I noticed just recently that Leonar didn't have any hit points on his character sheet - so I gulped when the hydra dealt out 26 points of damage!
Your choice for how you want to do hit points for Leo - the options are to multiply an average for each of your hit dice (4.5 for an eight-sided die) or gamble and roll 5d8 on the thread here. Given Leo's current situation, you could try rolling here on the thread and compare that with the results you'd get from an average score, and take the best result. Don't forget to add in your Con bonus and if you take extra hit points for leveling up.
Either way, I have the feeling Leonar could be hurting now, hopefully you all can find an opportunity to take out the hydra, it's lethal.
Do you reroll ones? I'll roll with that assumption. Tell me if I'm wrong and these next two rolls can be scrapped.
2d8 ⇒ (7, 5) = 12
If this is acceptable, I have 29 rolled HP, plus 10 more from Con and Favored Class, yielding 39. If not, I've got a total of 29 HP. Either way, yup, I'm in a bit of trouble, lol.
Hmm, that's a good question, to be honest it never came up when the others were rolling up their characters. Anyone have any objection? I'd say that's fine to reroll ones, and we'll make that a houserule for the future. Besides, to be honest, these extra few hit points would seem to be pretty useful about now. :)

Hurricane Sandy is about to hit where I live, so it is possible that I will lose power. If that happens, it could be days before I get it back. NPC me as appropriate.
Quite pleased to see that the toy exhibition in the small local museum in our town had one of the old D&D red box sets on display, along with a bit of a write up about what roleplaying is. The set was in pretty good condition too.

I'm still here, but it definitely looks like things are a little quiet right now. Hopefully everyone picks it back up on Monday. Otherwise might be time for some PMs.

Happy 2013 CHH and our Red Hand of Doom crew! Time to get that manticore and clear out the keep!
Quick announcement for me that will be duplicated for those of you also in the Serpent's Skull campaign. I have the very good fortune of being selected as a finalist in Kobold Press's Valhalla Calling adventure design competition. Check out all of the finalists. There were some great pitches and all look great to play or run!

Thanks Gerald! Looking forward to the next post CHH! No worries on taking the holiday break and taking a little time to start up again. A little break helps recharge.
Just curious, I've had a few people approach me about starting up at Skull & Shackles PbP game. Would anyone on this thread be interested in joining? I'm looking for a party of 6 so on the lookout for a couple more players, and thought to bypass the public recruitment. I should have the threads up for the game soon with character creation details, if you want to play just let me know.

I'm in a Skull and Shackles game and unfortunately I'm also the reason why Gerald's game hasn't progressed :( You should definitely take Gerald. He has a great character for you!
Thanks Gerald, I'll be in touch soon once I can get the game threads up. What type of character did you play in your previous game? I believe so far we have a bard and a rogue joining the crew.
I had a sorcerer, CHH, but I can roll up whatever role needs to be filled for the crew. I'd also thought about a brawler fighter type as well. I'm good with whatever the team needs.
A sorcerer sounds like a great idea, Gerald. Here is a link to the discussion thread for the game, feel free to introduce yourself and get to know the other players. You'll know most of them already from RHoD.
