Weiman: Pretty much the opposite of Amira DOT
Aponyaye Msomi |
Ok, I decided to switch characters (hopefully) to make up for the loss of Amira. He's like Amira but worse because his Diplomacy is not nearly as high and he can't channel. But he at least has Cure spells and many of the Remove X spells to get rid of afflictions. Also, pets! Compsognathus familiar and leopard AC.
Weiman Callbazzern-Walk |
Notice to all: Weiman's 3-part schtick is as follows:
- Gratuitous Disable Device and Perception for out of combat
- Lucky Halfling & Well-Prepared feats, Hastes, and near-suicidal bravado for during combat times
- Puns and terrible jokes for all times.
Should a save occur that after you roll and decide is unsatisfactory while Weiman is within 30 feet, you can choose to use my 1/day ability where I roll the save for you, though you have to take my result.
Note to Tektite: I THINK I have my Good Dreams trait somewhere in my chronicles area link and calls for input at the start of the session (unless we're resting before leaving.)
Desmond Aesculus |
Dot - Please give me a couple of days as I need to level Desmond & Sahrek up.
Weiman Callbazzern-Walk |
If it's not in there, GM, let me know so I can get a source for you.
We're in Nidal, and I'm in a wrapping-up module from there (in PFS.) Too bad Kris isn't 7th, otherwise she'd segue in much easier.
Aponyaye Msomi |
Welcome back!
Desmond Aesculus |
So, it turns out that the number of tricks an animal companion knows is factored differently in PFS than how it's explained in the CRB. Sahrek's gonna lose a couple of tricks.

Where'd you find that? I always thought it was 6 tricks for an Int of 3 and then however many bonus tricks they are granted by their level.

Sorry, bad April Fool's.
Also, is this an April Fool's joke?
I know some people are blowing up about it, so I'm just not sure.

Looks legit. You can pre-order from Amazon if you want. Pretty short turn around on the announcement and when its coming out. Paizo typically takes 8 months after the announcement for the product to come out. It does make sense with the current line of material coming out. ;(

At least your pits aren't DC 20 and are full of Mad Monkeys, do ho ho. One of these days, Persistent Monkey Pits is going to happen. Just gotta wait out Linnea being in a 3-parter.
What level will she be after that, anyways, Mr Des?
Desmond Aesculus |
She'll be up to 6 by then, I think.
Panfalcon Dryadson |
I've been delaying sharing this one, but now I just have too.
"To all the Pathfinders in the place, get your hands up. Get your hands up. Now Scream! Now, now let me slow it down a bit. Get you in the groove. That's right feel it. This one goes out to our Main Man . . . Weiman! Drop it!"
It's that 2001 jam that everybody was talking about. (Moderately offensive, NSFW)
Weiman Callbazzern-Walk |
All you had to say was "DJ Assault" and I'd have known what you were talking about, do ho ho. I think he mixes a remix of this yearly of something, because I've heard so many different mixes with no credits.
Weiman Callbazzern-Walk |
Oh, haha, sorry Weiman! I completely missed your post somehow! I guess I was just excited about making that DC 30 check.
No probs. OoC, I actually didn't think anyone else was going to get it, explained by the same fact of why you were excited to make it. Weiman might be mildly unhappy, but he's quick to distract himself. Plus, a bonus pun got in from it.
DJ Assault
I totally figured out that you meant "because he's an ass-sayer right now" is less than 12 hours after reading that... >.> <.<
Aponyaye Msomi |
I know! It's a shame because I really like spells like that but especially in PFS it's really hard to pull it off in a useful way. This is the first I've had who regularly prepares it but he level jumped from two to nine so I haven't played him since he got access to it.
Xian Taiko |
Sorry for my silence, an unexpected trip in Normandy cut me from my access to internet...even from my phone
Aponyaye Msomi |
I just GM'd this one tonight and had a blast. I think things really pick up after the 'run from the public house to the temple thing', which kinda slowed things down a bit. But everyone had a good time, especially the final fight which was appropriately epic. Even the optional encounter gave them a run for their money until a lucky baleful polymorph saved them. Before that happened things were looking pretty grim for them though.
GM Tektite |
No problem.
Panfalcon are you on slow track?
I will happily run another, though I will probably wait until after the first week of June, as my family and I will be going on a summer vacation. After that, I will begin my status as a stay at father and should have plenty of time to keep up on my PbPs...
Aponyaye Msomi |
Craft (alchemy): 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (6) + 17 = 23
I'm always ready for more when you are! That timeline actually works well for me too as my thesis deadline is May 30 so I will have a lot more free time after that. Although I did just start three more of my own and will probably start more next week....
Desmond Aesculus |
Wow, great job all around.
Handle Animal: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
Desmond Aesculus |
GM - Also, Desmond is going to use his Fair Trade Boon from the Wardstone Patrol (see character sheet for details).
He wants to trade his headband of Vast Intelligence (Knowledge[Planes]) with a headband of vast intelligence (Acrobatics). I don't know if it needs to be noted on the chronicle sheet by you as the GM.
Xian Taiko |
Day job (Alchemy): 1d20 + 16 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 16 + 5 = 28
No Problem for waiting a bit :) I will be ready when you will be GM T !
Thanks again for running it ! And thanks for all for this great game :)
Aponyaye Msomi |
@Desmond: I think the headband has to be associated with an Int skill.
Xian Taiko |
No need
A headband of vast intelligence has one skill associated with it per +2 bonus it grants. After being worn for 24 hours, the headband grants a number of skill ranks in those skills equal to the wearer's total Hit Dice. These ranks do not stack with the ranks a creature already possesses. These skills are chosen when the headband is created. If no skill is listed, the headband is assumed to grant skill ranks in randomly determined Knowledge skills.
Aponyaye Msomi |
Oh, actually Taiko is right; I guess it doesn't have to be an Int skill and you can get one with Acrobatics. I must've been thinking of the random Knowledge skill thing.
