Actually given that Ermolos gave me my masterwork weapon at half price I didnt have to borrow a cent. That said, Lucon can't afford anything fancy to wear, but at this point we can assume he got through the door okay.
Lucon's Pack:
mwk. silver clawed warhammer (as heavy pick), sap, mwk. fullplate, tower shield, potion of cure light wounds (2), masterwork carpenter's tools (chisel, plane, drill, saw), pouch of nails (as caltrops), artisans outfit, belt pouch (2), whetstone, heel of bread, flask (w/ cheap wine), torch, 10ft. rope, 10 silver shields (with 80 silver in storage/trade goods)
Also jeeeesus I am so sorry, Mug. I've had a post floating around by text message, email and everything in various states of completion just waiting for a chance to post, but every day I've gotten home I've been too exhausted/lacked the creative juices to hammer it out. I've sent a PM your way and finally posted in the thread.
Oh! and I'll add Lucon's unarmed/unarmoured stats to the little tab in his description. I just need to remember to change them back afterward.
I got the PM and I can appreciate being too tired to post anything of substance (see Mug: last weekend).
Thanks for getting it to me.
Also I feel compelled to continually thank you Surplus, for managing the loot and constantly going above and beyond to make it available to us. Thanks!
Just a heads up, I'll be vanishing on Thursday for up to a week, with an indeterminate amount of phone reception. Chances are I wont be able to post, so if you want to shuffle Lucon off to the side or bot him for a while, that's fine by me.

Moving to the discussion thread... I'm not sure if Enko is asking about Dellano or other vendors, but vis-a-vis Dellano, I assume we're not talking about him making a wondrous item? I'm not TOO far away from affording that headband I want, but I'm assuming he wasn't offering 2 days of crafting time...
Can you do any type of damage with IUS or are you limited to bludgeoning? Not sure how often we'll run into DR X/slashing, but if we did a kama'd help bypass it if you can't do so otherwise.

Hmm. If the Viscount blows all of his money, can he get a minor rod of meta magic (I'm thinking extend). Would extend work on the base duration of the spell, or would it add to my conjuration talent?

@GM: I know I can enchant my bonded item (staff) manually when I reach the level, but what's the rule about having it enchanted? Considering I was describing it as a shorter staff/cane, could it be a candidate for the enchantment as a metamagic rod?

Thanks, Raine! I couldn't find an official price listing, but it should be the same as a normal +1 AoMF. You swap one for the other, and then the thing can't get above +4 and Agile. Ah, wondrous item nerfing.
Yeah I thought the +0 was a joke, and thus the ludicrous price. Turns out its a real thing, jokes on me! :)
So yes, a +0 AoMF with a single weapon enhancement rated the equivalent of a +1 bonus would cost the same as a +1 bonus. I didn't see the Agile property, is it just one of the possible enhancements and I overlooked it?
Agile is weird - it's in the Pathfinder Society Field Guide, but not in the PRD. You can find it here on d20pfsrd though. It's not in the tables up top however, so you have to scroll way down to find it.
Edit: Ooooor Enko can just link you right to it =)
I'm afraid things are looking like I won't be back until Sunday. I actually have a modicum of phone reception on the campsite, oddly enough, but as of yet it keeps crapping out on me when I try to load the thread. I'm all caught up and were it not for the tapping feet and folded arms behind me I'd drop another fiver and write a post, but Lucon should be able to attend the meeting and nod and mumble grimly, and follow the party into whatever trouble they find.
See you in five days, folks. It's freezing down here if it makes you feel any better. :P
Ah dang it, you were waiting on me and I was waiting on you. My bad. To answer your question; I think it's fine if you enchant your staff as a metamagic rod of lesser extend. I remember researching the question, but never answered you. *sigh*.

Don't you need Craft Rod to do that? I mean, I believe you can give your bonded item whatever magic qualities you want, if you have the item creation feat.
If someone can give me the definitive RAW on the deal with Rods, that'd help. I get a little lost reading about them.
Enko, it sounds like you need craft rod feat to make rods? Meaning Dellano would have to have that feat correct? Corneleous wouldn't need that feat unless he was making the thing. Am I understanding that correctly?
A wizard can add additional magic abilities to his bonded object as if he has the required item creation feats and if he meets the level prerequisites of the feat.
If Dellano doesn't outsource. :) I mean, he won't have Magic Fang either.

The viscount could enchant it himself (if he had the 9th level prereq). The enchanter would have to have the feat. That's question two (the first being can a staff be enchanted as a rod).
If it's all too expensive, he might go for a hat of disguise instead.
Oh, and he should probably find a teacher to learn disguise self from 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22 spellcraft check to learn + copy.
