Agurah Greywall |
Agurah can not help but let out a laugh. One that sounds like a mix between a giggling school girl and a demonic entity as she watches his puppy dog eyes. She then proceeds to clean her Chakram sitting on floor at the moment. Her purple eyes seem to watch to see what the Drow will say.
Taldra Torviir |
Taldra is aware of Salazar's warmth on the cot behind her. She sits there eying Ian and the human skin trying to figure out exactly how to make the bag. "Ian how big of a bag are we talking here? Back pack? belt pouch? sack? I need something to go off of please. Taldra asks
Agurah Greywall |
If you tan it, it works just like leather. Besides I knew a vampire wizard that wore the skin of his victims. Rather interesting if you ask me. At this point Agurah is eying everyone in the party waiting for the bag to be made.
Agurah Greywall |
She smiles when the pouch is done. Anything else we need to do my dear allies? She lets off a grunts as she stands up stretching with a yawn.
The Nameless GM |
Night falls on the Wilds as the human skin bag is finished. A face, stretched in an agonizing scream, is the basis for the bag. One can almost hear the yells of pain...
Then tents that have the barracks have plenty of room to sleep in for everyone.
There is a spring nearby where the cultists were getting their fresh water.
Night preparations must be made. Who will sleep where and who will be doing watches.
Taldra Torviir |
Taldra bids everyone a pleasant night and begins getting ready for bed. She tacks the horse off to the side of the wagon so he may feed on the grass nearby. Then straightens up her wagon and lays out her armor for in the morning.

Last watch. Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Agurah Greywall |
Agurah takes the first watch of the night as darkness approaches removing any lighting that will mess with her dark vision. She melts into the night being hidden to most almost invisible. She then listens for anything that might threaten the party.

Taldra Torviir |
Once Taldra is sure the other have bedded down in the tent for the night she begins to pleasure Salazar. Knowing that she mush be quiet and careful, Taldra takes her time enjoying the moment. It has been a long time since she has gotten to pleasure a man for sheer enjoyment. There is something about Salazar that intrigues Taldra and draws her to want to be with him.
Salazar The Shadow |
Salazar was not paying much attention as Taldra was preparing for bed. He looked up and blushed as he was caught off guard by the smexy Drow. He does not resist her advances as it has been some time himself sense he has had this sorta thing. Life as a loner gets, well...lonely? He enjoys the companionship that he gets this night.
Summoner Moone |
Ian is bored, and provides them with alittle music
Perform: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18
Agurah Greywall |
Upon hearing the music Aghurah approaches and begins to dance along celebrating their victory unaware of what is going on between the others. Her body bending to the music almost as though controlled by something not of this world as she bends in many....interesting ways.
perform dance: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18
Agurah Greywall |
After she finishes the dance with a small smile, giving a small bow, And if I was not your ally you would be missing your money, possibly clothing and dignity. chuckling a little. Perhaps if we go to a ball I can show you the more elegant side to what I do rather then the sensual.
Summoner Moone |
He smiles, but says naught. He shift his tune to something...less distracting.
Agurah Greywall |
She at this point its on the front of the wagon this would require two for a waltz. Something I do so love back in my younger days around 80 years of age. Stealing from the Golden Rule after swooning young rich men.
Agurah Greywall |
If you are having that much dificulty sleeping you can borrow my bed roll, that or sleep in one of the tents if you do not mind the smell of rotting flesh.
Summoner Moone |
Hey, it doesn't smell that bad. I drug him into the woods, so at most it will smell like blood, which I wouldn't think you mind. Ian says with a smile. And perhaps I could give the 'Big ol' mean bear' *very high-pitch cutesy voice* a lullaby! He has a very nig grin on his face.
Taldra Torviir |
Now that everyone has bedded down for the night Taldra lays awake thinking. She's sure that Ian and Null are pleasant enough company to keep as is the grumpy manbear. But this new creature, who acts rather odd, she is not sure about. What if that other woman tries to convince Salazar to warm her bed and not Taldra's? Would Salazar even go to her bed?
The thought almost enrage Taldra. She knows how devious another woman can be especially a Drow woman at that. Her biggest worry is things turning out like they did when she fell in love with Dalamar.
Sure she likes Salazar and would like to get to know him but would letting the assassin into her heart lead to both of their down falls? Did Salazar even care for Taldra or was she a means to an end for the assassin to always get his mark?
"Salazar, are you still awake?" asks a sleepy voice. "if you are I just want to let you know that I've grown quite fond of you and would like to spend time in your company more often."
Salazar The Shadow |
Salazar had fallen asleep quickly and lays next to Taldra. She really is over thinking as she has successfully placed an assassin in a very difficult position to be in. Salazar lays there with no armor, no weapons, no way to truly defend himself if something goes wrong or if he is attacked. No paranoid assassin would be in this position if it wasn't for a VERY good reason.
His eyes open as he is called on and he mutters something very quietly in his own language. Nothing bad at all. Just a..slip of the forked tongue as it were.
He stays quiet for a moment but shifts himself to his side, facing Taldra and wraps his arms around her, his scales brushing up against her drow skin and pulls her close. His voice is sleepy as well and slowly fades I still do not see what you see in me. I'm sure you know why I keep my eyes on you. More then just to keep you out of trouble. He had more he would have wanted to say but he kinda passes back out after that last remark.
Agurah Greywall |
As the Dahpire lays on her bedroll close to the wagon, she curls up to herself wondering what she has gotten herself into. Would The Raven even keep his promise, would her father be able to suffer the way she wants him to after all the years that he was not there. Had he fathered others beside herself. So many thoughts ran through her head, so many things that she wanted answered. The Drow and the Snake man seemed close together, something she had not experienced in years since she was about 70 years of age, The man was 20 when she meet him. He had passed away sometime ago when he was about 50. She has closed off emotions after that. Why fall inlove and keep someone close when in the end they would die and she would live to be around 300-400 years before she finally died herself.
Summoner Moone |
Ian is still up for Taldra's watch, as he can't sleep: Too much bloodshed that day. He is once again shrouded in Null, and as Taldra sits for her watch, she notices the mask of their face shift and change constantly, as if he is having a heated discussion with someone...not there.
The Nameless GM |
The night passes without incident. Ybewyr might get a flea or two from sleeping on the ground, but there's nothing that threatens the party.
It'll take a few days to get back to the Grey Kingdom, but considering the amount of blood and the unnatural aura that Moone's summon has, you need not worry about animals attacking you on the way back.
When you return to Rivenmane and the Fleeting Quail, the barkeep lets you know that there's a package for you in the back.
In the back, there is no chest to greet you. Instead, just a small letter with the Raven's seal in wax.
My dear adventurers,
I am glad you were able to dispatch that cult as quickly as you did. I feel as though their possessions are payment enough.
Agurah and Ybewyr, your bounties are being lifted as we speak.
Taldra and Salazar, I trust there will be no further complications. We don't need something like that interfering with further operations.
Plan ahead, as I will need your services once more.
The next place I will send you is in the Badlands. Yes yes, I've heard of the dangers. I know you shall be able to handle yourselves.
When you are prepared, speak to the barkeep and show him this letter. He'll tell you what's next.
In good favor,
The Raven of Blackmoor.
A Knowledge Nature, Geography, or Local will tell you about the Badlands.
Agurah Greywall |
knowledge local: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
Well this sounds like fun...I am staying with you until I see no need or something that will promise more money arises.
Salazar The Shadow |
Salazar reads the quote and his hood and mask covers the look of concern on his face. He knows what happens to people like them, when the people like the Raven are done with them. Most of the time it is not nice to think about but both of the types of people need one another to accomplish whatever the money pays for so he keeps his concerns to himself.
....quaint...
Know Geo 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Taldra Torviir |
Knowledge: Local 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Knowledge: Nature 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Knowledge: Geography 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Taldra is not thrilled with the letter from the Raven. She begins to let out a string of undercommon that does not sound pleasant. Once she finishes she turns to Salazar,"If he thinks he's bring me down and making me the means to an end, then he has another thing coming. I will stop him and protect you as well. Besides he's just one man."
Agurah Greywall |
knowldge local: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Well I do not know of a local fight club, however there are criminals that have bountys on their heads. You can turn them in dead or alive...but it has to be more then their heads. They usually come around at night or high noon when the market is most active.
She then smiles a little. I have me a post man to talk with.
The Nameless GM |
You are given enough time to plan ahead for your next mission. This includes the training and education you would need for a mission of such importance.
Level up!
Agurah, you don't lvl up. Everyone else does.
All your knowledge rolls combined give you this information:
The Badlands are filled with naught but volcanoes and ruins of the Drow civilizations. Although they are said to have many lost treasures, none are brave or foolish enough to venture there. And there's something about the sand and ashes. Anyone who stays long enough succumbs to some form of illness. No one has been around long enough for the affects to be studied.
