Lost my post for the horde.

Marius ignore whitechin for the nonce concentrating on taking down the big goblin

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Despite the blood pooling on the floor at his feet, Marius' foe fights with agility, dodging the man's thrusts, and surprising strength in a goblin, even one this big. Whitechin shouts commands in goblin and Marius' opponent backs away carefully toward the dais on the far side of the room. Withdrawal action. No AoO.

Marius can see broken and missing teeth in Whitechin's grin as the goblin chief steps squarely in front of him. "You and me, man."

Waifrin, then begin round 4

Forgot to attack Akorian.

It's unlikely anyone's actions at the top of round 6 will change Akorian's, so here's his next move...

Grimacing from the double blow of absorbing the goblin's attack as well as Zarabeta's wound, Akorian tries to finish his opponent quickly, swinging once more for the big goblin's head.

Melee attack with morningstar... 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Damage, if applicable... 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Waifrin is unable to reduce the numbers of Zarabeta's attackers.

Raven retreats.

The big goblin has complete his retreat to the dais. He pulls a vial from his belt, drains its contents, grimaces, and flinches. Then he straightens and swings his sword, testing its heft, and seemingly much refreshed.

Zara's up.

The beat goes on.

Akorian's morning star crashes through the goblin's guard and crunches heavily into his chest. He grunts and falls back a step or two. His breathing suddenly shallow.

I'll wait to see what Zara does.

Point Blank Shot could give you a small boost, but unfortunately Deadly Aim can't be used with touch attacks and Focused Shot (from the APG) can only be used with bows and crossbows.

Zara's acid drops another goblin.

Akorian -- you rolling for the dogs?

Whitechin smiles at Marius' challenge. He drives in hard with his shield trying to knock aside Marius' sword to open a gap for his ax. 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 ... damage 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

He shouts to his troops. Goblinese:

It's the bull's strength. It puts him at an 18 Str while active, making him more lethal. Sadly, I didn't have time to power up his AC with shield of faith or he wouldn't have taken quite as many shots in return. As it stands, Akorian is at 20 hp, both from the damage sustained from the goblin and splitting damage with Zarabeta via shield other.

Zarabeta steps back and launches an acid bolt at the goblin hound snapping at her legs. The dog hisses rather than howls, but cowers and bolts from the fight. All goblins in melee except the drummer who is out of range unless you wade through a number of AoOs. So I chose the dog.

Whitechin shrugs off Marius' taunts. "All things end. But we'll die fighting with weapons in hand." Waifrin's blast leaves him less jaunty, but grim and determined never-the-less. His grip tightens on the ax and he renews his offensive while shouting more encouragement to his troops.. 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17 ... damage 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Marius' parry turns the ax in Whitechin's hand. A sure sign the goblin is growing weaker.

The single goblin left with the dogs turns and runs for the door in the midlle of the north wall. I keep forgetting him.

The one goblin continues to chase Raven. He apparently goes mad at the sight of the potion because he drops his dog-slicer and leaps for Raven's arm in an attempt to wrest the vial away.

You're not the only one who's having trouble. I forgot the fled little goblin. (posted below) Other than him there's a little one on Waifrin. A little one on Zarabeta. A big one on Waifrin. And the drummer.

"Help Marius and Waif with those two!" Akorian encourages Raven, "I'll help Zee..."

Strategy:

Spoiler:

I'm thinking between Marius' skill-at-arms and Raven's flanking, you guys can make short work of the bigger goblin. And, once I free up Zarabeta, the rest of us can focus on bringing down Waif's smaller opponent, the drummer, and anymore trouble the fleeing goblin brings our way.

Raven nods his agreement as he moves to flank the bigger of the two goblins menacing Waifrin. The elf tries to avoid any attacks from his new foe as he closes the distance and stabs with his thin blade.
