Yes, quite suddenly. Family business. You can try anyway.
Castor, did Raven perform under his own name or a similarly clever alias?
And once again Dabbler and Wellard surprise me. Alias Smith and Jones was no landmark of American culture, but somehow they know about it. Unbelievable.

...and "Alas, Smith & Jones" featured comedy duo Mel Smith and Gryf Rhys-Jones...but yes, the other SMith & Jones did indeed get aired in the UK, way back in the 70's, to which both of us can trace our childhoods (and beyond).

Alias wasn't, but then it aired in a day when in the UK we had three TV channels (count them) and my age was still in single digits, so it was kind of a captive audience.
Edit: You know, thinking about it, it's amazing that with so little competition British TV produced so much good stuff back then. I think it's a testament to the BBC's commitment to quality back then.

So while Waif and Marius roam the town, meeting fun NPCs, lining up new gear, and generally enjoying the metropolis, everyone else is going to huddle in the safehouse?
Zarabeta did some Gather Information-ing, but I've slept since then, so I'll have to go look it up after work to remind myself.

He's been all over the world, Tian Xia, the Mwangi, Garund. Most of his stories come attached to some small memento, but the chase in the market of Katapesh is attached to a fine man-sized broad bladed scimitar.

Funny you should mention the "store credit", Set. You guys haven't taken advantage of it much at all. No one has been back to Fair Jerrick's to buy or sell anything for a long time, not even Raven. I seem to remember there was a small premium to be gained by selling there for store credit.
By the way, maybe we should rename Zara Martha. She seems to be doing all the the party's chores.

Hasn't been much call for mundane gear, that I've seen. If we get some gold, at some point, Zarabeta's totally going to get an amulet of continual flame (something she probably should have had before getting to second level!), and maybe a headband of intellect or lesser metamagic rod of extend or, heaven's forfend, an item raises her Armor Class above 'naked chick with a +2 Dex bonus.' :)

Ooh, hope she doesn't notice. She'd go ballistic!

This is true...we could do with a few more items to help us out here and there. Actually though I am enjoying NOT having the Christmas Tree Effect in operation all the time, though. We could do with some gear, but not massive amounts. Let's see what we can turn up and trade in...

There you have it. First monster, I've built from scratch in a long time. Shadow ooze.
Dabbler that's strength damage, not drain. I was kind of surprised that Waif didn't try to run away.
The shadow man was a caster. Unfortunately, due to overconfidence and stupid tactics, he didn't get a chance to cast anything. Waif's opening volley was brutal.

Funky new thread / dot / focus behavior is making it more challenging than before to find threads, so feel free to send me a private message if I lag at some point.
I wasn't clear if the shadow was a monster or a manifestation of something (if we were *literally* 'shooting magic missiles at the darkness'). We need to find out more about these shadow men, behind the shadow garms. Due to the drawn out nature of PBP combat, I'd forgotten he existed by the time we were snatching up the garm's body for the reward...

Funky new thread / dot / focus behavior has just been general weirdness at my end. The Paizo servers have been up and down. I can not get to my campaign page. My work around is to pull up each alias and go to the last post. Very slow and frustrating.
Actual in game posting will suffer til Teter and company sort this out.

I usually just went to Online Campaigns and hit Focus and could see all of the PBP games *and* PBP discussions (and Recruitment) threads that I'd had dotted / read recently, allowing me to keep track of it all in one go.
The current behavior (for me, anyway) is that I get a blank page when I do that, and have to check the PBP and PBP Discussion sub-forums individually before Focus will show anything. (And, even then, the new post numbers never change, or do so inconsistently, so that I end up checking a discussion thread that says (2 new) to find out that they are posts I've already read, or even made myself!)
It is a nuisance.
I got spoiled being able to check all the games and discussions at the same time (and being able to tell which ones had new posts).

Do you have any of the Online Campaigns subforums hidden/minimized?
If you click on the actual thread link (not just the "(x new)" link), it'll reset the number of new posts. I'm not sure if that's the intended behaviour, though.
Oh, that works! Thanks for that tip, I don't have to see the same (X new) posts every time!

Guys, it is with a heavy heart that I tell you that I will have to be bowing out of the game. You have been a great group of guys, the players as well as our illustrious DM, but I am finding myself not feeling all that interested in my character lately and putting too much effort in playing him. And it has resulted in my holding up the game, which is certainly not at all fair to you.
I am indeed sorry and I do feel a bit guilty to be doing this, since this has been my first PbP and I have been playing it for quite a few years.
I hope there are no hard feelings. :-(

Quick reminder on my spoiler policy, since I'm using a lot of them for these individual side trips. I'm doing it for a small degree of privacy and personalization. If I seriously want people to keep out, I will append the word "only" to the spoiler title thusly, Character name only
Likewise if you want guaranteed privacy from each other.
There is no privacy from the DM in the campaign threads. Even if you requested it, I couldn't help myself and would read the spoilers.
If you are dead set on privacy the PM system is an option of last resort, but I would rather the table remain relatively open.
