Chronicles of the Silver Rose Company

Game Master Patrick Curtin

This campaign is my attempt to play a canonical Planescape campaign using the updated Pathfinder ruleset. The game actually predates the release of Pathfinder, but we have managed to update as we have needed.

Bribes always welcome

OK, if there are no objections ..

After Hatahuatl completes the armor modifications, the group heads out towards home. See retconned description ~DM. The acolytes head out to their kips as they walk, the three holding appartments in the reasonably-priced if somewhat rowdy Swordhold District. Issac, Ekuur and Karrin arrive at the Copper Cauldron and find the door barred. A knock brings Bess' brother Drengist to open the inn to them.

Inside the room is quiet and shadowy. The busy common room is empty but for a few late-night imbibers and a few Antipeak workers grabbing a quick bowl of the soup Bess always keeps bubbling in the immense copper kettle on the hearth. The hearth is mostly banked, its usual cheery fire now a glowing pile of coals.

I am assuming no further business, shout out if there is something else you need to do..

The three say their goodnights and head to their rooms.

Karrin:

Spoiler:
As Karrin sleeps she dreams again. She flies within a strange dream terrain. Darkness envelops her, broken only by the bright shining of her axe. The darkness beyond her axe's blue light is alive with half-seen visions that make her shudder. Is this the Hell that the monks had warned her of? She had always thought it would be hotter and brighter. This place is cold and empty, like a cave sealed up for centuries.

A dark structure looms ahead of her. Karrin would be hard pressed to see it, if the surrounding void wasn't so empty and dark. Ferissirion's light washes over a complex of black spheres connected by rods, reminding Karrin somewhat of a sculpture her friend O.L.L.I showed her in the Lady's Library. A small voice whispers to her.

"Tcian Sumere. You will find answers at the redoubt of Ultimate Undeath. Find the entry to the bottom of the multiverse in the land of death, where life cowers beneath Pelor's cloak."

The voice is the same she has heard from her axe before in dreams. Did she have dreams before? It's all so confusing. The vision blurs as Karrin slips into deeper slumber.

In the morning ...

The peak dawns grey and rainy, as many do in Sigil. The weak-tea-colored rain drips along the leaded glass of the windows as the Silver Rose crew wakes for the day. They head out to the bath chamber, where Darroth has obligingly filled the large bath with warm water.

DC 15 Perception Check:

Spoiler:
A decidedly cold breeze escapes from under Karrin's door

Karrin wakes last, surprised to find her axe snugged in bed with her. The dreams last night were jumbled, but she remembers a name, a riddle, and a feeling of dread.

Meanwhile

Justin's invisible servants have cleaned his room to an approximation of its former mussiness. He finds a few boards to block the new rat holes, and Skyy has gotten over her fear (and their subsequent comforting acts) to fall back asleep in their bed. The peak is aging, and Justin remembers Renkar wishing to meet them for breakfast in the common room of the Coppper Cauldron.

As everyone streams into the common room, it bustles with activity as the Before Peak crowd fortifies themselves for another day on the streets of the Cage. Soup, bacon, eggs, frybread, griddlecakes, and sausages fly out of the kitchen to land on the tables.

Renkar sits at their accustomed table, smoking his old pipe and sipping at an ale. A plate of sausages and black bread toat lies half-eaten in front of him. His companion, the silver faerie dragon Mercutio, curls on his shoulders.

"Good morning gentles," he booms out above the chatter of the busy room. "Are we ready to discuss our unfinished comission?"

"You bet boss!" Karrin says as she finds a plate of heaping fixings, "Me and Ekuur have some business in the temple district later, hope you don't mind, but we're ready to work straight away if need be. Just a personal mater. I think I can get inside that temple pretty easy these days. I can turn invisible! Just a little trick I picked up in my travels."

"Fine with me." Merle as she sits down

Male Half-elf (Planar) Ranger 5/Rogue 2/Plane Walker 1

"There's some serious Darks makin' the rounds, Boss.", Isaac says, looking around the common room before leaning in to speak to Renkar more closely.
"More dead Powers besides Maanzecorian. But I reckon it's not a matter for today, right?"

Renkar looks grave

"Perhaps not act on today, but I'd certainly like to hear the chant. You folks seem to be skirting about some dangerous territory"

Male Half-elf (Planar) Ranger 5/Rogue 2/Plane Walker 1

"Bwimb, of the Paraelemental Plane of Ooze and Camaxtli, a minor god of secrets both penned in the deadbook, on their own planes. Not the top shelf o' their pantheons by any stretch, cutters, but scraggin' any Power at all ain't somethin' teh take lightly- 'specially if Maanzecorian and Camaxtli both held secrets under their aegis."

Renkar nods

"Sounds like someone with a Hende lot of power is looking to uncover an especially hidden dark. Bwimb of Ooze, I can't twig to how that sod ties in. There is the fact that somewhere deep in the Undersigil sewers is a huge one way portal to the para elemental plane of Ooze where all the raw sewage goes. I don't know if that has anything to do with anything."

Human Wiz 12 (Evocation)

[ooc]Justin gets up as the sounds from the street wakes him up early. He reluctantly leaves the warm covers, (and warm, curled up form of Skyy underneath them), and putters around the almost back to normal messiness of the apartment in his worn blue robe. He blocks the new rat-holes with some bits of board and weak glue conjured via his prestidigitation chant. That should hold until he gets time to memorize and use a better repair spell.

Grumbling and bleary-eyed, he dresses swiftly when he remembers that Renkar wanted to talk to everyone this morning. With a last, longing look at the bed, he makes sure all of his wizardly knick-knacks are where they belong in his pockets and pouches (and that the Thief of Charms is once again firmly tucked into his inside coat pocket) and exits the apartment, locking it firmly behind him and making his way towards the Copper Cauldron. His grumpy glare and dogged, unshaven face are enough to give all but the most determined, or desperate, of friendly street vendors or unfriendly knights of the post pause and reason to bug someone else.

-_-_-_-_-_-_-

Justin stumbles into the Copper Cauldron more or less as the the others enter, looking decidedly more refreshed than he. He growls a more or less friendly greeting as he makes his way to the simmering Klah pot and pours himself a large mug. A few heaping spoonfuls of honey and cream and it's bitter taste is almost enjoyable. He sits at the table with the others and sips the hot Klah cautiously as he ponders the events of last night. His conversation with the kobold and subsequent encounter with the brain-rats making his brain ache in sympathetic memory. As the caffeine kicks in, and he reviews the rest of the evenings events, he decides that the good outweighed the bad. Or at least was well worth it.

He decides to get the others take on things as soon as he gets his thoughts in order. While the others chatter and eat around him, he pulls out his battered journal and scribbles some notes. He looks up at Isaac's mention of two other 'Powers' having sudden vacancies.

"That, can't be a coincidence. There cannot be THAT many beings who have the ability to knock of a Power on it's home plane. Even minor ones."

Back to the real world, Justin realizes that he's starving. He fills up a plate to rival Karrin's and rejoins the others.

Male Human (Athasian) Cleric 10

Ekuur rises early and peforms his morning rituals and prayers. He winds his way down to the Cauldron, and finds himself far hungrier than he expected as he polishes off almost as much food as Karrin.

"Yes. A thug named Pulgh, who apparently has been demanding 'donations' from some of the temples in teh district. And has just recently come by my own."

Renkar smiles

"Well that problem is a bit more strightforward than powers getting penned in the dead book. I'm sure you will show him the error of his ways."

Renkar clears his throat

"As to the commission at hand. The building is still guarded, but not as much as before. I have convinced Mr. Swire to get Ser Jad'Hammet time to scout the building. However, I would appreciate if we can get this done sooner than later. This Before Antipeak if at all possible."

Male Half-elf (Planar) Ranger 5/Rogue 2/Plane Walker 1

"I kennit, cutter. The problem we had last time was that all the bashers that could figure out what was goin' on inside were outside the building. We oughtta catch a glance at that back door, see if the gap's been closed up- I'd reckon that's still our best entry."

Human Wiz 12 (Evocation)

Justin nods as he listens and scribbles in his battered journal. The Klah and food have worked wonders and the mage looks positively awake now. If not happy to be so.

The wizard has been organizing his thoughts. The current page of his Journal now holds a to-do list. It reads;

-Examine rod with Lich (Make sure brain looks unappealing) Use Info on dead Power for payment.

-Examine Undead/demon masks with Lich (Ditto) and same?!?

-Touch base with Murphy, find out what happened while I was on World Ash Tour.

-Repair holes in wall (Use old 'Make Whole' chant?)

-Find out who sent brainirats. (Most likely sure, swift & correct source of info, Lizard-boy) (Several curse words have been written and then scratched out here)

-Pay rat-hirer a visit.

-Make appointment for application to Wizard's Club

-Assist Ekuur with problem on temple street?

-Continue investigation of building

After Renkar's last statement, Justin draws an arrow from the last thing on his list to the top of the page.

Justin snaps his journal closed and tucks it into his coat. He then gets another serving of biscuits covered in thick gravy (He doesn't ask what it's from anymore. As long as it tastes good.) And polishes it off as the discussion continues.

"Do we have any info on the security arrangements this time? As careful as we were, we sort of stumbled into it last time." Justin raises an eyebrow.

"I could probably pick up a scroll of invisibility circle. Invisibility, 10' That way we could all sneak in at once. I'd probably need two, one for in, one for the return trip." Justin offers.

female elan Psion (Kineticist) 10

Nari ate breakfast with a hearty appetite while she and Quint continued their conversation from the night before. As she was helping clear the dishes from the table she suddenly remembered that she was supposed to have been at the Copper Cauldron for a morning meeting.
"Oh no! I'm late! Sorry, Quint, I have to go. But I'll be back soon to talk some more. Thanks so much for your hospitality!" she said as she dashed out.

She ran through the streets between Quint's house and the Copper Cauldron, veering around a wagon and squeezing through the middle of a crowd of people. Something about that reminded her of something, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Her memories had become distant since she changed. They were all still there, but she had to stop and think about it before she could really recall her past. She ducked around a vendor carrying a heavy tray full of hot meat pies and dashed into the door of the Copper Cauldron.
"Sorry I'm late," she said blushing as she hurried to sit down. She looked around sheepishly. "I pretty much just missed the whole meeting didn't I?"

Human Wiz 12 (Evocation)

Justin smiles at Nari. He likes seeing her,... happy. Although he's still getting used to her new face. Or new everything actually.

"Not at all! We just finally managed to get enough food out of our mouths to get to the serious discussion." He grins.

"Renkar was just getting us back on track with that old building investigation we started before we got sidetracked on our World Tree Tour." Justin offers as he stands and pulls out a chair for Nari.

Male Half-elf (Planar) Ranger 5/Rogue 2/Plane Walker 1

"Right. All ye missed was the plane-spanning, possibly apocalyptic chant. Now we can get down teh the important things- doin' a Taker's dirty work."

"Remind me, boss, before we set out: I tumble teh the B&E aspect o' this contract but what are we up to once we get in? Figure out what the Defiers want with the place and how teh get 'em out?"

Renkar nods

"I think Ser Jad'Hammet is more interested in what the Athar are interested in with the building. There's got to be some reason they are guarding some old abandoned temple like it was their faction's pay chest "

female elan Psion (Kineticist) 10

Nari smiled her thanks to Justin and hastily sat down, listening to the conversation as she desperately tried to remember what they were talking about. The details were especially fuzzy which probably meant that Sanna had been in control of their shared body during the missing pieces of time.

"E...excuse me," she stammered, "I don't mean to be a bother, but...would you mind telling me about this mission again....I, er...I think a lot of it happened during Sanna's turn and Ihavenoideawhatyou'retalkingabout," she finished in a rush, turning beet red from embarrassment as she spoke.

female Tiefling 12th level Duskblade

"Well from what I remember this guy asked us to figure out what was going on inside this old temple he owned. See although he owns it these guys from this other faction are guarding it and not letting anyone else inside, and because he's a big wig inside this other faction if he gets his people to go in and try to move those other guys out we get a faction war, and from what I understand the lady of pain doesn't like that. So anyways he hires us to have a look around inside, mainly because the other faction is using strange disappearances as an excuse for sealing the place off. So I guess the plan is we sneak in figure out what's causing the strange disappearances and put an end to it. Then the other guys will have no reason to guard it and our employer gets his mysterious temple back."

Also, although we're already past this bit, but when Ekuur decided to deal with the thug in the morning Karrin would have returned to escort Nari back home from Quint's place.

Female catfolk sorceror 11

"Uh yeah what Karrin said." Merle mumbles in a happy half dreaming state

Human Wiz 12 (Evocation)

"Sounds right. And nicely summed up Karrin." Justin grins into his mug.

"So,... just a thought." He says, leaning forward and (mostly) serious once more.

"I'm wondering about the rules or laws of Sigil, and how come the rightful owner doesn't just have the hardhats tell the campers to bugger off. I mean, if they don't own the property, they have no right to be there, protecting citizens or not." HE looks at Renkar, Isaac and Karrin, as they seem to know the most about Sigil.

"I have a theory, I think our employer knows, or at least suspects, what is going on in the old temple. And is pretty sure that if he brought the hardhats into it, HE'D get into trouble. So he hires us to figure out what's going on, or confirm what he knows, and he protects himself from not only a faction war, bur from the authorities as well."

"I also think that our last attempt tipped off the guards that they were being too obvious. I mean the normal folk don't think much about being told to keep off the lawn. But as Renkar pointed out, they were obviously guarding something as if they considered it valuable, and people were starting to notice. If it IS valuable to them, I doubt they really lessened security. So if the security is more low-key than it was, they probably got smarter and subtle about it. We should go in with charms running to detect both mundane and magical traps. Especially if they figured out how we got in last time." Justin suggests.

Maybe she got there after Nari was already asleep...er....in a trance state (since she doesn't sleep as such)? Otherwise it requires more retcon than I can keep track of in my current distracted state.:)

"Well, that makes a lot more things make sense," she said thoughtfully as she considered what she did remember in light of this new information.

"That's a good point, Justin. I can sense hostile intent, but that doesn't really help with traps. Are any of us good at finding traps? I...I don't think we've spent a lot of time dealing with traps before?"

Since it doesn't really matter since Nari got home fine, lets just move along

Renkar looks over at Justin

"In theory, the Harmonium could do exactly what you suggest. In theory. The reality of the situation is slightly more complex."

Renkar stretches his fingers and sips from his ale mug

"You must remember Justin not to think of the Harmonium as town guards. They are a faction, like all the others in Sigil. They have taken the duty of imposing order on the populace, but this isn't a job given to them by a municipal government. This is a part of their philosophy. The policing is merely a side effect, not the actual objective"

Renkar sips again

"Now, the Harmonium have little influence in the core regions where other factions hold sway, unless they are allied, as they are with the Fated, the Fraternity of Order, and the Mercykillers. The Athar have a long antagonistical history with them. Sending in a platoon of red clankers there will likely be a major fight, which could set off a faction strife, or even a faction war. There is an unspoken agreement that factions take care of their own kips"

Renkar nibbles some sausage, dipping it in some sort of relish as he takes small bites

"Now, Jad'Hammet can take his case to the Hall of Speakers, but that is a very slow, expensive, and public venue to air grievances in. He could hire some mercenary toughs to storm the temple, but that could lead to faction strife just as easily. Plus, whatever the Athar are guarding could be valuable. Jad'Hammet is no new-whelped cony ready for the stewpot. We are supposed to bring him the dark of the old temple, and I assume he will base his plan upon whatever chant we uncover. "

Human Wiz 12 (Evocation)

Justin frowns thoughtfully as he digests what Renkar is explaining.

"Sheesh. And I thought Monarchies and Democracies were confusing and difficult to manipulate. This isn't even a government, it's,... Cooperative Chaos!" Justin grumbles into his mug.

"Right. So. We're back to square one. Only this time they know somebody's poking around. Well, I wouldn't think that too much can get past ol' eagle-eyes over there," He smirks, pointing to Isaac. "You'd have to hide a trap pretty well to keep him from spotting it. Merle and I should be able to run a detection spell,.. although those aren't my specialty. I may need to go scroll-shopping. Hey Ekuur! I thought I remembered reading once that Powers could grant insight and warning about traps, magical or mundane. Is that something that the Sacred Flame can grant you?"

Not sure if the old clerical 'Detect Traps' made it to PF?

female Tiefling 12th level Duskblade

"Not exactly square one," Karrin says, "We did do a little patrol work and we do know the basic layout and someone said that the buzz from out last attempts to get inside have died down. So now we have a plan of attack and our targets aren't on their highest alert level. Not a bad position to be in."

Female Human Cavalier 8 (Order of the Dragon)

Rhiannon joins the group at the table, taking the rare opportunity to sleep late for the first time in recent memory.

"Sorry for the lateness, don't mind me I'll catch up as you talk."she says with a smile.

Not sure if the old clerical 'Detect Traps' made it to PF?

It did, but it's nowhere near as good as it was long ago. It only gives a bonus to perception checks to discover traps equal to half your caster level. So it's only a +4.

"There is a prayer to enhance the senses, but it has limited effectiveness, in my opinion. Not really worth it. However, you bring a good point, Justin. I have wanted to create some scrolls myself, especially since we've been fighting a great deal of undead. Some extra scrolls to cure poisons, diseases, and curses, as well as to restore life energy that has been drained. Unfortunately, I would need some days to do that."

As the only healer, I thought it might behoove us to have Ekuur craft some scrolls of neutralize poison, remove disease, remove curse, and restoration. Will we have any time to do that? And seeing as how it would benefit us all, anyone want to chip in? ;-)

Male Half-elf (Planar) Ranger 5/Rogue 2/Plane Walker 1

"I've tickled some wires in my day, cutters. We'll get through it- and dependin' on how many bashers are coolin' their heels in the case proper, there may not be many traps on account o' foot traffic. Don't rattle yer bonebox too much about settin' up a plan before we see what the Defiers got fer guard rotations, nearby support and such. We need teh do some reconnoiterin'. Scan the case up 'n down, beat the bushes a little and give the neighborhood a once over. Once we tumble to the layout that's when we can divide into smaller teams, assign tasks, plan magic support, points of insertion and escape routes."

Human Wiz 12 (Evocation)

"Oh, you mean,... Plan ahead?!?"

"My, what a novel approach. We should try that sometime." Justin says straight faced. But his eyes are laughing hysterically.

Renkar laughs at Justin's jibe

"I would take the peak hours to get you supplies done, then perhaps during Antipeak you can scout the temple again"

female Tiefling 12th level Duskblade

"Done and done!," Karrin says, "We should set up a meeting spot so we can all join up later."

Human Wiz 12 (Evocation)

"Sounds good. Where at?" Justin back to scribbling notes. (This time a shopping list)

female Tiefling 12th level Duskblade

"Somewhere where we can get something to eat," Karrin says, "You don't want me getting low blood sugar in the middle of a mission. Also I plan to be in disguise again. I think I should be either the Baroness or Sophia La Noir again as I used those disguises last time."

Renkar smiles

"I suggest perhaps you rendezvous in Ragpicker's Square. It is close enough to the Athar's Shattered Temple District to be a quick walk over. There are several decent eateries in the area, I suggest the Mermaid's Blossom. It does a very nice seafood board of fare, and it is a very decent place for being in that neighborhood."

Renkar scribbles an address on a scrap of parchment, then finishes his sausages

"I will leave you to your breakfast, and we shall reconvene on the morrow."

Renkar stands and exits the common room.

OK, state what you want to, and we will advance the scene to the Antipeak hours

female Tiefling 12th level Duskblade

"Sounds good boss," Karrin says, giving Renkar a proper salute as he stands to leave, "Okay Ekuur let's go take care of our business! And let's try not to use too much of our own spells in case we need them tonight."

Human Wiz 12 (Evocation)

"Presuming a lack of any other unexpected visitors, no problem." Justin smiles enigmatically at Karrin as he rises, and hastens after Renkar without explaining his cryptic statement.

"Wait up boss, got a sec for a question?" He asks, indicating with a nod of his head he would prefer to speak to Renkar behind the closed doors of his office.

Once safely behind said doors, Justin lays out his late night visitors, their apparent goal, and how he managed to strike an uneasy truce with them, leaving out only his state of undress while doing so.

"I don't know which bothers me more, that someone hired these little thugs to break into my home, (such as it is), or that the freaky rodents have a sense of honor."

"After studying it with the Lich, I know where to put it so it SHOULD be safe, and I'm pretty sure I can find a lead on who hired the little varmints, But I wanted you to be aware of what was going on."

"I just find it disturbing that as SOON as we get back someone tries to lift the stupid thing. I get it might be more powerful than we realize. Heck I was the first one to mention that the whole 'steal Charisma/produce a potion' might be a simple side effect of it's TRUE function. What bothers me is that as far as I know, we were the only ones who knew we had brought it back with us, and that I was carrying it!" Justin growls. "It's not like we went around bragging about it" He adds, somewhat calmer.

"Um, I suppose that going and examining this thing with your Lich contact is probably going to be time-consuming. Probably more than I have to spend today anyway. Do you have a really good lock-box we can hide this thing in while we work? Give me time to do research on it at least without having to worry about it being snatched from under my bed again tonight?"

No need to RP this all out if you want to advance Monkey. Just hoping maybe Renkar can keep it safe for a few hours so I don't have to worry about it getting snatched in the middle of this job! :) If I remember the times right, Justin probably JUST has enough time to RUN and get some shopping done, and maybe copy a spell or two into his book, before they all meet back together. He plans on buying a few scrolls (depending upon his total GP currently) and maybe a minor magic item, :)

Renkar looks grave

"I have heard rumors of cranium rats teaming up in swarms, but never communicating or using psionic violence. Considering how endemic they are, that is most worrysome"

Renkar nods

"I can hold it for you Justin, for the nonce. You'll have to figure out what to do with it long term"

"Agreed. My acolytes should be at the temple already; we can gather them and then go pay this Pulgh a visit."

Pat, do you think we'll have any time for Ekuur to scribe a few scrolls? I'd like to get a few stored to cover the staples like neutralize poison and remove disease ...

Bribes always welcome

what are the time constraints? You have about 12-14 hours before your nighttime sortie

Male Human (Athasian) Cleric 10

Well, I'd first have to pray for the spells in question. Second, like other magic items, it requires 1 day for each 1000gp in cost; 3rd and 4th level spells are less than that (except restoration, whose component can push it over). However, per the rules, you can still only scribe one spell per day, regardless of cost. Which means one scroll each of restoration, neutralize poison, remove disease, and remove curse would take me 4-5 days.

Bribes always welcome

Well, you are under a time constraint. However, you have the scrolls available to buy at standard prices no problem

"Well, since there's time, I guess I should probably go to the Gatehouse and check in. I still haven't let them know about my err...change in circumstances. And I'd like to see how Majeed is doing. Good luck with your mission, Karrin and Ekuur. And don't worry, Ekuur, I won't neglect my lessons either. I know I have to be able to handle things myself from now on."

"Would you like to come with me Seph? It's okay if you had something else planned. I just ...I thought I remembered that you liked to come with when I went to work there."

Human Wiz 12 (Evocation)

I am WAY out of touch on scroll-scribing, and what I did know was 3.x, not PF. But I thought that it only took 1-2 hours each to scribe a scroll, (at least low level), and that they were not under the same constraints as other magic items and limited to 1/day. Again, I have not researched as much under PF. I will glad to do research and contribute to the general pool of knowledge! :)

Justin nods, and hands Renkar the rod.

"Thanks. And don't worry. I have long term plans for this where it should be safe. I just want to do thorough research first, and make sure that it CAN be safe." he admits wryly.

Justin turns back to Renkar before he leaves.

"Boss, as much as I've learned, I still consider myself a newcomer here. I find it scary that I just accepted the brain-rats abilities, only to find out that YOU weren't aware of them. And we seem to be under intense enough scrutiny that they can tell where we've been, and what we're carrying, before we get to brag about it ourselves. Maybe I should research some perimeter defense spells. And some Anti-vermin ones while I'm at it?" He adds with a wry lift of his eyebrow. He nods his head in a brief but respectful bow to Renkar, and leaves, almost colliding with Merle about to knock on Renkar's office door.

"Oops! Sorry Mer. All yours!" he says cheerfully, grinning at the feline as he stands to the side and gestures grandly for her to enter. He watches Merle enter with perhaps a bit more attention than professionalism allows. When the door shuts behind her, he grins and shakes his head.

"I feel sorry for the brain-rat that wakes HER up while she's napping!"

Justin exits, whistling a spritely, tuneless tune as he ponders that happy thought.

I'll just presume that as above, I do not have time to create scrolls, so I'll make a shopping list. :)

"Would you like to come with me Seph? It's okay if you had something else planned. I just ...I thought I remembered that you liked to come with when I went to work there."

"Hey," Karrin says, "If we got time I'd love to go shopping after this stupid business is taken care of. I got quite a bit of jink after our adventurers and I'd like to get some of my gear upgraded. I mean we got a few hours till dark, want to do that after?"

"Yes, I would love to accompany you on your shopping trip," she said with a smile. "The markets here are so fascinating. Should we meet back here this afternoon?"

I was going by the srd here, but it's possible someone said something on the boards and I'm just unaware.

Merle nods going to get ready before pausing "Oh uh I have a few things to talk to you about Renkar sir."

Renkar pauses

"Go ahead Merle"

The foggy rainy day awaits. The bustle of life on Copper Court filters through the half-open door of the inn as they prepare their daily chores

So, shopping for stuff then?
