Quick question for the more rules-savvy folks: spells such as magic vestment and greater magic weapon do NOT stack with an existing magical enhancement bonus, correct? In other words, if Ekuur memorized magic vestment (+2 bonus at CL 10) and cast it on his +3 half-plate, it would have no effect, right?

Yes indeed, bonuses only stack if they have different NAMES (UNnamed bonuses stack with anything, but they are far and few between)
So, (Making up a cheesy example here) IF you had magic armor +1, (Enhancement bonus +1)
ANd you cast 3 spells, each of which gave you a +1 bonus, but were all enhancement bonuses, they would NOT stack,
But if each spell gave you a different bonus, (+1 Natural armor, +1 SHield, +1 Dodge) then they would stack.
Note- Even if a spells BONUSES do not stack with your current gear, any OTHER effect they have other than the actual +# bonus still take effect.
A Shield spell will not stack its numerical bonus on top of your actual shield you are using, BUT it's 'negates magic missiles' power still works fine. Etc.
EDIT- Sorry, was ninja'ed by Philo almost an hour ago, but hadn't hit update my web page before answering! :)

True,
Having never actually PLAYED Eberron, just read some of the material, I had forgotten about that.
Of course, MOST of those living spells tend to be destructive types, but with all of that destructive -living-spell-capability out there, you'd think there might be ONE 'Living Mass Cure Light Wounds' roaming around. Probably used as an attack spell on a group of low-level undead.
;P

You've missed out, it's an awesome setting. I remember the living cure wounds ooze. We once had a game in the Mournland, where healing doesn't work. We went in with a cure wounds ooze in a portable hole. When we needed healing, we had to open it out and try and keep it inside while we lowered the injured person in. And figure out when to pull them out before they exploded.

Nice!
I run two tables of Eberron here on the boards, if I get an opening Justin I'll let you know.

Wow indeed. I like thinking outside the box, but that pretty much takes the cake! :)
I'm trying to imagine RP'ing that setup, and I'm laughing a whole lot. Is this normal? ;P

What's really fun is running that Vamp game when everyone splits up, it's like 13 separate adventures!

Yeah I'm running one now that is basically three separate ones. But it's down from like five so I should be thankful

This week is going to be pretty crazy. Lots of meetings at work, and juggling termite tenting, prep and taking care of the dogs in my off time.
I'm not sure how much time I'll have, so please robot me as needed for the exciting week of talking about what the creature might be talking about and the possible repercussions of actually going into the next room. ;)

I know right pins and needles! :-)
Tis all fun and games till somebody steps through that portal and it turns out to be a sphere of annihilation that just looks like a portal...

Eh, in Pathfinder, I rarely use Identify after low levels. A good spellcraft check is usually enough.
Good point, I'm still in a mental rut from playing the 3.x version via PC games. (Neverwinter Nights) In PF by our levels you have enough skill points in SPellcraft to do the same thing! :)

The monocle is a Gem of True Seeing. The black gem is just a gem, the pendant is an amulet of protection +3. I'm sorry the spell list isn't done, but I'll have it by tomorrow
Wow. Cool.
'Just' a gem? I disagree sir! THAT is a future enchanted item right there! The description is far too awesome to not become a magic item now! :)No worries Pat, I remember you posted about working for profitable Holiday pay. (MAN I do miss being hourly and getting OT)
Happy Thanksgiving to all! :)

Wowsers, those are some pretty awesome spells, :)
"Necromancers get all the good stuff!" ;P (J/K)
When you have time, can you note the sources of those spells? Are they all from older books? Or from newer ones that I haven't gotten to look at yet? Just a lot of cool thematic spells in there.
<Cue Wizard drooling,...> ;P
