Chronicles of the Silver Rose Company
Game Master
Patrick Curtin
This campaign is my attempt to play a canonical Planescape campaign using the updated Pathfinder ruleset. The game actually predates the release of Pathfinder, but we have managed to update as we have needed.

Ahh, totally forgot about that blog. The only indication I get that it still exists is when spammers leave me offers to "increase my member"- whatever the hell that means.
Here's a different Karrin from when work was slow for a minute anyways.

That's very cool as well James :D
I really liked the first one, the details, including the tattoos and the short bow, which Karrin owns but has never used, are amazing. I really must say that I like how you have the horns and armour in this one! Karrin's Mitt is more like a really big and bulky glove, this pic has the bulkiness right, but I always pictured it with fingers.
Also I love that Karrin seems to be holding a sandwich in that picture :D So awesome James, thank you for sharing this, you totally made my day :)

But, and maybe it's the avatar pic you use, I just don't see Karrin as being that,... so,... cute! :)
What are you talking about? Karrin is adorable! Small, kind of unassuming, but freakishly strong. She's also a valley girl who speaks fast and rambles, seems kind of dumb, but is actually Machiavellian level genius who can't help manipulate people.
Now, I have been petitioned to restart my homebrew game, so I am looking for two worthies to join the ranks. Kevin already has a spot, thanks to his sleuthiness, but I figured I would open it to you folks. You can read the original game : >here< but I am planning a total reboot of the action. Let me know if y'all have any interest.
WHO has his hands full with too many games already?
WHO enjoys games almost as much as eating?
WHO has absolutely NO willpower when it comes to games???
OK, those interested, head on over to the Opal discussion thread. I don't have a lot of time, but if you want to start thinking about character concepts, that's the place to start. Everyone who said yes is in, but I'm gonna have to cut it off there. Also, I will be updating this game as soon as I can. I have alot to do this weekend, but I will try and find a moment to set up our next battle. =)
BTW, Just letting everyone know. This week snuck up on me, and it's going to be BUSY. Very good chance of no communication on most days through Sunday. Sorry. I'll try to keep up with reading, but posting will be minimal. Thanks.
Have a busy work schedule coming up, AND a lot family drama (Mostly health issues)
SO, I'm keeping up for now, but If I vanish it's not intentional.
Sorry in advance if it happens! :)
So uh has anyone heard anything from Patrick lately?
He's still around, but only really has contact from his iPhone and trust me, that is absolutely s@*$e to even post an update on Paizo from, let alone do a post for a PbP. He is super swamped by Real Lifge ATM but hey, Silver Rose is worth the wait until him life settles down a bit right. :)
Hey hey! My computer is back. Sorry folks, I have had a really weird month or so. I apologize for my tardiness, and I am going to update today or tomorrow. Apologies again =(
Hey all,
Sorry, been busy at University lately, and relative in Hospital.
SHOULD be more available by next week, but if I vanish you'll know I'll be back asap.
Just got bestiary 3 and was wondering if I could change my character over to the Catfolk stats in that?
Go for it Kevin. I once again apologize for my neglect. This game is still in my thoughts, but I rarely get computer time. Most of my interent is iPhone which is terribly unsuited for gaming posts. My life will hopefully slow down after the Christmas season.

Since the new Catfolk stats are a lot less impresive than the old one would it be okay to replace the missing lvl gap with a lvl in sorceror?
JUST got back into town tonight.
Will catch up asap. (The eternal promise!) ;)
FYI- My wife's granny is not doing well.
Short version (Unusual for me, I know) Too many complications.
Sadly, she isn't expected to make it much longer.

Sorry to hear that Rags. Taske your time. I have resolved many of my writer's block issues, and time is becoming a bit more available, but we are still moving slowly.
And congrats on progress with your writer's block! (It is a bugger to beat sometimes, isn't it?!?) ;)
Today my wife's grandmother did pass away.
I think we'll be fine, but we do have to get through all of the required arrangements.
Again, I will catch up asap!
Just so you know, I am going away camping again, but this time for 5 days and as I found out while I was up there last weekend, there is no internet access. :(
Please DMPC Sthenoo as you see fit while I am away if the battle progresses past Round 1. :)
Hey all. I just wanted to pop in and let you know that I am keeping this game in my thoughts. It may not seem like it, but I am.
My life has shifted very strangely as of late, and I find myself strapped for time. Also, my older computer is suffering some serious senility issues. I unfortunately need to buy a new copy of Photoshop for my new comp, because it is looking more and more like my old one is destined for the scrapheap.
You are all a great bunch of players, and I am very sorry that this whole mishegas has dragged on like it has. Please keep the faith and I will try yet again this weekend to update.
Thanks for the update Patrick! Speaking as one of your original players I can say that this game is very much worth the wait. Real life comes first. I'm sorry to hear things are hectic for you though. I hope things settle down.
Here's a thought though: Why don't we just end combat and move the plot forward? I sense that part of the problem with the updates is you can't do up your maps, and that can be frustrating, but the story has always been greater then the combat (which I usually view as an obstacle that needs to be overcome to advance the plot {which is how I view combat in most games}). Just a thought. I look forward to updates when you can.
Wha?!? Bwahahah! (Just read Pat's tag when I read Flash's post!) ;P
Heh, thx Flash, that link does sound a little like a certain wiz I know. :) Might have to actually spend a couple of bucks on that.
BTW, MArdi Gras weekend here, which you'd THINK would mean I'd have time on my hands, but as the family is all out of school too, means usually,... No. I don't ;P
So in short, might not get to post much until Ash Wednesday. But I'll try to keep up.
I get the feeling that Ragadolf sees Karrin as some big hulking goon not the sweet loveable lying Machiavellian manipulative romance reading misfit that she is :)
Heh, Well, for a smart guy, Justin CAN be pretty dense. ;P
BTW, I'm getting hammered at work. Again. I'll try to keep up with all my threads as best I can, but I will be pretty sparse the next couple of days until I get this next musical up and running.
No problem Rags. Life has benn shaking me like a rat in a terriers mouth lately. I am behind in almost everything, but hopefully we can wrap this side bit up
Patrick, figured I would throw out a suggestion for how to deal with Nari's current troubles in the short term at least since I don't want that to interfere with your plans. (I didn't realize we were still so far from Sigil or I would have spun it out longer.) Anyways, maybe the seed thingy can sort of put Sanna to sleep temporarily? That gets Nari off the DL and the problem is still there to deal with later but not getting in the way of the current plot.
