I'm loving the story actually, I was always hoping it would be devil heritage, fits the character so much better, but I do love the twist! Karrin is going to be completely traumatized by all this :D

Yes, Karrin isn't telling a soul. Thankfully only three people know right now. And she has no plans of telling anyone else! It's funny though, Karrin just laid out 1500 GP for RP stuff, 500 to mail a letter home (with 400 gp inside) and 1000 gp to realize her worst nightmare :D Good times!

I do love a good story though, even if Karrin is having a rotten time of it at the moment, and I'm quite pleased with the character development. I think the team is starting to come together :) However I'm sure this heritage issue will all come back to haunt her sometime within the next 1000 posts!

Well, to be honest in a metagamey sorta way, it's a story seed that could be scaled up into the epic range if eventually needed. Plus, as with any good DM, there are some cards I haven't placed on the table yet:P

Hey folks. Today, thanks to several converging things I have made a descision to take a sabbatical from being online for a while. I apologize that this will mean I wont be posting updates, but I am sure I will return at some point. Thank you all for being part of my madness and I hope we can resume at some point in the future.

As I said in the Opal thread, take care of yourself, Pat. Real life always comes first (where's the justice? :-)) Ekuur will be waiting, and even though I wasn't part of the Silver Rose for long, it was a blast! Thanks for a great game so far.

Hope everything goes well, Patrick and I'm looking forward to when we can pick it up again, or just whenever you get back online.

Quick heads up: a week from today I'll be leaving for a vacation. I'll be bringing my laptop but it might be impossible for me to post anything. I'll be away for the rest of April and most of May, I leave on the 28th of April and get back on the 28th of May.

BTW-I shall be absent this weekend myself. I have the opportunity to attend Mechacon (Anime Convention) in NEw Orleans this weekend. (Fri-Sun, July 16-18) So I shall be out of touch till Sunday night. At the earliest. Monday Morning at the latest.

I'm going to participate in the 2nd of 6 planned mega-scenarios for Star Wars (scenarios planned over 6 years, Both RPG and Minis!)

I'm just letting you know that I will be on holidays (Skiing) for about a week starting the 24th (through to probably the 1st). I am taking my laptop just in case, but I wouldn't hold my breath for the apartment we're staying in to have Wifi access.

OK I am back, but no Internets was very painful, so even though I'm back I may still not be too talkative since I have to catch up on a huge amount of crap (PbPs, FB, e-mails, etc...). Oh and I also have to spend the next 2 days re-formatting my computer and getting it back up to scratch, so that's gonna put me out of the loop again as well.

I should have Internet again by tomorrow night (my Monday, USA Sunday night) so I can at least check in, but I have a lot of work to cram into the next two days, so sorry if I am a bit splotchy on contact 'til midweek. :)
