Tyler has gone with a Handy haversack to carry the many things he needs as an Alchemist.

Also Masterwork Thieves tools. 20 Cold iron bolts, 20 Alchemical silver bolts. And changed his chain shirt to a mithril chain shirt.


For Kyrus -

Day 3 = Craft Kyrus's cloak of resistance +1, DC 6 Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 8 = 33
Day 4 = Craft Kyrus's Belt of Incredible Dexterity +2. Hurrying the proccess to DC 11 Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 8 = 33

Kyrus's perfectly made items are ready!

You said that items had a 75% chance of being available, so we were rolling to make sure they could be purchased in town. At least, that's what I was doing.

idk about the material stuff but rolling for masterwork can be hand waved, Leon has his make thing's masterwork spell

Yep, that is the correct price.

Spellcraft (Amelleanne's cloak, DC 11): 1d20 + 5 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 5 + 8 = 26


Roll for cold iron. Alchemical agents are ok. Silver is ok. Masterwork is ok. I'll kick us off!

cold iron: 1d100 ⇒ 79, assuming 75% as mentioned before, so that's a no, no worries, mostly just for general preparedness anyway.

When it gets to Tyler's action. Bomb: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

That's attacking the Gargoyles Touch AC, and using Precise Bombs to avoid hitting any of my team mates.

I don't suppose it's possible to get half of that payment in advance for stopping the flow for now. Because we could really use 1000 gp to enchant our weapons permanently.

EDIT: Also, buying some cold iron and silver arrows. I'm not going to get caught out by material DR at the very least

Yay! I suggest that we spend a few days having Bryn enchant our weapons then. A +1 weapon for at least the martial characters would make running into a gargoyle again or something similar much less or a problem. Possibly armor too, but I don't think that we want to spend that much time before heading back. Thoughts?

Úlf would certainly dearly love an enchanted greataxe going forward. Since we're only gonna have a few days, though, we need to make sure we optimize the time Bryn spends enchanting.

Bryn doesn't have Craft Magic Arms and Armor feat yet...so not sure what you plan on her doing for your weapons...

Tyler doesn't have enough to get a magic weapon, but if Ulf wants a loan to get a magic Greataxe now Tyler can give him the 1500gp to be paid back when Ulf can?

As he's our main fighter Tyler thinks having him equipped with something that can stop things is a good plan.

I was planning on taking Craft Arms and Armor for my next feat at level 5. Sorry. I'm willing to chip in my 1,500 to get Ulf a magical weapon too. We really could use a front'liner with an ability to bypass DR.

Not your fault. I forgot that you didn't have it yet. That's on me. We only need 2000 to get an outright magic weapon for anyone and we're getting 9000 in advance, so we can afford to get up to four magic weapons if we pool our money. Which isn't bad actually.

I spent our last reward getting my Handy haversack, but it is stocked with some Alchemist's fire and acid flasks.

Maybe get a magic bow of some sort, so we cover melee and range?

Cool. So, whoever donates the extra 500 gp to get the bow and ax gets the 500 Ulf and I would receive at the end of this adventure. That should balance it out. Anything else we want to stock up on/acquire before we head out?
