"I suppose I should point out that he has already used some sort of power on me then," Carth said, pausing before he explained himself, "The creature in the orb brought forth some.... painful memories. Memories I had made sure to forget. Seeing those images again, it crippled me, hence why i'm sure you may have noticed my cry of pain in the middle of the fight. Argius walked over, placed a hand on me, and the pain of the memories was gone but the memories were still there. After the fight, he placed his hand on me again, and it helped me regain control of my memories."
He paused again, before finally saying,
"Thought you should know, in case it does become a problem."
Galacia decides not to sit and instead busies herself with looking over various objects about the room as Eliana tells her story. "You seem to know a lot about these orbs." She smiles a bit to herself and turns to face Eliana. "I find myself wondering what kind of relationship you have with Graves."
Eliana blushes at Galacis's question. "My Graves and I are......just Good friends." She smiles as she says it. "I only know what I have been told and what I heard from people and I have seen them all at the ceremony. I can not explain it but I have always felt close to the orbs and Mr Graves." She smiles again and blushes once more.
"If he healed you then you should be ok. He has healed a lot of people just by touching them though I have seen him do horrible things to people by touching them. As my father used to say, 'A healer knows where it hurts."

mmmm grunts Krallek can you tell us anythin bout this Mr Graves? We know nuthing of him other than his name. What does he do? Why is it up to him to find the orbs? Is he in charge of their security? Was he responsible for em being lost in the first place?
"Mr Graves is the temple leader. He has visions of the future, they are not always good but they are almost always accurate. He keeps the town safe, though he has little power himself, he makes sure people are where they need to be when they need to be there. He was only responsible for the temple Orb and there is no way he is responsible for them disappearing. He is linked to the Gods just as the orbs are. He is very nice and will help you all he can, though he can be a little confusing or cryptic sometimes." She smiles and looks up as Archaouss moves.
"He will not be long Archauoss the temple is not that far. Krallek here take the orb back, please tell Graves what I have told you, it is injured and needs healing." She carefully passes the orb back to Krallek.
She speaks seriously, "You should go now and see Sandy...Mr Graves, while Argius will be busy here with me. I can give you as much time as possible before he returns to the temple. Please do not tell anyone in town that I am alive or I was in the Mill. I do not know who attacked me and I do not feel safe, especially if who ever it is finds out they did not finish the job."
Eliana thinks for a moment. "That is the name of a God in an old children's tale. An evil foul and powerful god, one of the cruelest. Ruler of the 7th realm. Old Lore has it that he craves control of the mortal realm, and he achieves it by kidnapping children that stray to far from home and suppressing their memory of who they are and taking over their bodies forcing them to do evil things and therefor losing their soul to him, the more souls he has the more powerful he becomes"
She looks confused for a moment. "It is just a story designed to scare children from running away or going out alone at night. Why?"
Galacia smirks at Krallek, amused at the connection he's making. "Argius isn't the most pleasant person in the world but I hesitate to call him an evil god that devours the souls of children."
"If you trust Argius then I think you're right. I'd like to meet this Mr. Graves. Wouldn't want to keep 'Sandy' waiting." Galacia gives Eliana a teasing smile and waves farewell to the woman as she makes her way outside.

I aint so knowledgeable in the ways of magic so forgive me of my stupidity but I do know criminals and how they think. What if these orbs were a lot more powerful than the folk here know? Could be an old magic from way before the founding of this place. If a feller managed to find out about the true power of these things it would be easy pickens. A good disguise would be to find work with the master of the local temple. How long has Argious lived here?
Archaouss you can still hear the conversation going on inside unless someone is whispering.
With a blushing smile she waves back to Galacia.
"He has been here longer than me, I remember him way back when those story's frightened me in to not running away from home.....most of the time." She smiles."Now go quickly before he come's back. I do not know how long I can keep him here for you." a momentary show of worry appears on her face but soon fades into a smile as she waves you off.
As you all enter the street and begin to head to the temple you see Argius approaching just at the end of the street with 3 more people in purple cloaks. You all recognize the cloak as uniforms from the temple. The smell of burning from the mill is not as strong, the wind must of changed direction.
As you pass Argius and his followers in the street he asks if Eliana is still at her home and proceeds to make his way there. followed by three temple workers.
The journey to the temple is quick as easy, most of the people shook up by the explosion are now making their way back home or to where ever they need to be. The temple is mostly cleared when you enter and a Tall Gentleman in a purple cloak greets you.
Graves's appearance is smart and handsome. His eyes seem to pierce through everything as though he truly see's what he is looking at. He has a a respectful, kind but authoritative look about him and all his features and posture match that.
"Please sit, stand, make yourself comfortable."
He closes the door behind the last person to enter. "Well first thing first, I could not be there to greet you myself, for which I am sorry. Seeing the future gives me no more control over my schedule as any of you have."
He sits on the edge of a table facing you all. "You have all been brought here by coincidence or choice, or well....me." He winks at you all.
"This town is in great trouble but none of that matters much. Those orbs are more important than anyone here realizes. They can be used to bring about the destruction of the mortal realm. Well not them exactly. they are under the watch of the gods to the 7 realms. If one god tries to take power here then the others will do everything to prevent it. That includes destroying the mortal realm. thats you me, him, her, everybody gone."
"POOF!!!" he shouts louder than he should have and gestures an explosion with his hands before smiling them down on the desk.
"Oh made my self jump there. Anyway I can see the future and....have I said that already? yes I am able to see the future which doesn't allow me to sort my schedule the way you think it would and the orbs you have been finding are important. very important. You see there are powerful gods. The gods of the 7 realms and they mean to destroy the mortal realm if someone should try to take power and according to my visions some one is trying to do just that. My visions are of the future. Wait I have definitely said that before, or later or will do soon."
He stands up shaking his head. "Anyway back to the most current present with you Sandy!"
"If nothing is done to stop this evil god from seizing power here, then we are all doomed. My visions told me that each of you had a important part to play in all this. I hate to sound melodramatic but the fate of the mortal realm and indeed the other realms, depends on you all. There are people like me that can help, people who know of magic and people that don't that will help. There are also those who work for the evil god and they know of magic to. Have we done the magic conversation yet?"
He shakes his head. "No we haven't have we, you are all special you are able to do things and see things and notice things that others cant. even those that don't use 'spells' I do not know how much you know of your own ability before today but I can tell you from now they will get stronger and you will discover more things you are able to do than you could not before. you will become better magic wielders, stronger fighter and better trackers for example. Magic is rare here, only a few know of it and not all of them are good. power corrupts as they say."
"So I have brought you here to save the world. I know, brilliant isn't it! I can help, I am making powerful weapons for you all imbuing them with...how to put it? abilities that weapons of such kind should not have. As soon as they are ready they will help you in your great task. Each weapon can only be wielded by the one I make it for should anyone else try to use it it will be less than useless, so please look after it."
Hmm there is something I am forgetting, what is it? what is it? oh of course."
"I am Sandy Graves, please to meet you all in person. Welcome to my home. Please sit, stand, make yourself comfortable."
Elon enters the room and takes a seat, staff across his lap. Graves, the man that he had wanted to meet for as long as they had been on this wild chase, and it was as simple as walking into a room. Albeit past some guards etc, but it seemed almost trivial.
He listen to the man, trying to take in the words and the meanings behind as much as he could. That there was magic in the world did not overly surprise him, some of his own abilities were distinctly not natural, although he had made his peace with that long ago. That power corrupted did not surprise him. With power came responsibility, and not all would fulfil their obligations with said power.
When the part came about saving the world, he was unsure. That mere mortals such as themselves could be tasked with something so great, so world and life changing as saving an entire realm... such things surely happened only in legends and stories past. It would be a huge undertaking, and those to did so would never really be the same again. Not really.
I have but one question. Why us? Argius has already shown that he has more power, and if you have someone like him in your organisation, then you will have others. It feels odd that we have been chosen is all. Not to say that it is a bad thing.
"I did not choose anyone. I saw that it was you. Life or the gods or who ever you choose to believe in, chose you. How powerful do you think Argius is? he can heal that is all. The hammer was from me."
Galacia heads straight for a chair when Graves makes a mention of it, seizing her first chance to relax in awhile. She makes herself comfortable and settles in to listen to Graves speak. As he continues on, Galacia gives him several increasingly skeptical looks. The man was certainly eccentric, possibly even crazy.
When Graves finishes, Galacia takes a second to collect her thoughts and sighs heavily. "I came here looking for solutions to my problems and you throw more problems onto my lap. And not just any problem, you expect us to save the world." She pauses momentarily, shaking her head. For some reason it sounded even more crazy when she said it. "Assuming your visions are even remotely correct or accurate...why would I even want to do what you're suggesting?"

Picked? mutters Krallek. Ain't nobody in their right mind gonna pick me for nuthin important. As Mr. Graves behavior becomes erratic Krallek clears his throat and nods in understanding.
Mr. Graves, I ain't too smart and I don't know much bout the world or magic and such. I sure don't have much confidence in a God that would choose me to save the world. Ain't much better than a street thug really. I just ain't the best choice for this.
As the conversation progresses, Krallek listens to what the others have to say and when there is a convenient pause in the chatter he says to Mr. Graves I should tell ya Sir that this orb we found might be sick ... or damaged. Krallek produces the orb and hands it over to Sandy.
"Krallek do not mistake your past actions for your future worth. This world is filled with good people, bad people and everywhere in between people. It takes more than one type of person to live in it, why would it not take more than one type to save it?"
When Krallek mentions the Orb he replies. "Sick? How so?" His curiosity is obviously peaked by that news.
He handles the orb very carefully and daintily as he looks at it. More so than you expect a man of his size and age to be able to. He takes a look at the orb, the way a scientist looks at an experiment. "It does look...sick. I'll get Argius to take a look at it when we have finished here. May I ask how you knew it was 'sick'?" Curious about the wording that was used.

Ms. Eliana looked at the orb and then told me to tell you it were sick or some such thing. Also, we been warned more than once to not let Argius touch the orb so I ain't so sure having him look at it is such a good idea.
After Krallek mentions how Argius shouldn't touch the orb, Carth added,
"Whatever the creature was that was living in the orb, it also mentioned that an 'Argiusotherer the Unrelenting' should not get hold of it."
He paused before continuing,
"As for your 'us saving the world' plan, I'm not as confident as you clearly are about it, but I came here looking for some sort of direction to direct my attention, instead of just mindlessly wandering everywhere.
I guess saving the world fits that description just as well as anything else."
"Did Miss Patience tell you not to show it to Argius?"
He continues to look at the orb, ignoring Archaouss's 'crazy' comment. It was not the first time he had heard that said about him and probably wouldn't be the last.
"Miss Velana you have put it better than I ever could." He smiles and kisses the back of Velana's hand.
"Argiusotherer the unrelenting. So the first infiltrator is named. The orbs themselves has no will, no consciousness though they are technically living. well not living as in life but organic, well not organic but energy that replenishes and depletes the way we do. it eats, well not eats but takes energy from its surroundings and therefor takes on a part of where it is. This is the farmers Orb. The creature should not be there it is tainting the life the orb has and it needs to be removed. The only magic healer we have in town is Argius."
Galacia folds her arms and leans back in her chair, contemplating her decision. Risking her own life for people she didn't even know just seemed...silly. She frowns a bit to herself when a few of the others so readily agree. "So tell me...you see the future right? What did I say in your vision when you made this offer? And more importantly...do we win?"
Mr Graves, if the orb is injured or sick, might I hold it for a moment. I think I might have a small ability that will possibly heal it of the sickness.
If the Orb is handed to him
Elon takes the orb, and looks at it for some time, muttering to himself slowly. The hair stands on the back of your arms slightly, and then a ripple of power. Energy flows into the orb, and it glows slightly for just a moment.
As Elon touches the orb and the power surges from him into the injured item the entire room fills with blue light for a moment. You all blink and each find yourselves watching the following scene unfolding in front of you.
A dark sky zooms past stars blur into streaks of multi coloured light, it goes on for a while and stops above a small blue and green planet that you know to be Golarian. You see around it 7 beings.
Two are a beautiful creatures bathed in white light and flowing colours. An almost beckoning smile and deep blue pools for eyes. Their hair changing colour as is flickers in the light. Their voices create colour, one speaks in Blue and one in white.
Two are strong beast looking creatures, One with large red wings and one with large black wings, claws for hands and feathers on every visible part of their body. Almost every part of their body is visible. Their snout like face sniffs the air before they speaks in gruff voices.
Two are child like beings with no hair. One male looking and one female looking. Both with cherub features and wrapped in a blue robes. Smiling and moving around a lot. Their body’s have what looks like teddies, dolls and other toys surrounding them. they talk in a half laughs and half shouts.
One is a large muscular creature, with heavy set features and broad shoulders. The face is a broad smile with large horns on its head. Around it kneck hang many keys and locks and they make jangling and clinking sounds as it speaks. It speaks in a low smooth deep voice.
They are all talking about what to do with the mortal realm, who should take charge of it, who should be responsible. They each have reasons for wanting and not wanting to take on the responsibility. They are pretty evenly split in to those that do and those that do not.
They each talk over each other, shout and argue, as this rages on you notice on Galarion, earthquakes, floods, fires and all kinds of natural disasters. As the bickering becomes more personal you see the people of Galrion getting more violent towards each other, more destructive. Until the Female and Male child like beings begin to cry. The other being stop and see them holding broken toys in their hands.
"We must settle this or the mortal realm will suffer." They all say in unison.
You hear them come to the conclusion that they shall all be given responsibility for different realms and that the mortal realm shall remain belonging to none of them. You hear that the mortal realm shall become the balancing point for the entirety if existence. That it may be protected and viewed by minor gods only and that they would not control or influence it or the entire of existence would be thrown out of balance and all the realms will suffer.
Whilst most of the beings agreed one became angry. "I was promised the mortal realm it was rightfully mine and I will take it." The large muscular being. The others each turn on the being and declare in unison, "It will be destroyed before any one of us gains control of it. what is done is done and the mortal realm belongs to no one. If you try it will fail, even if we have to destroy it to do it."
The beings sing in unison a sweet and powerful song that you all some how recognize, though it is the first time your ears are hearing it. and from the accumulated voices four blue orbs are created and descend to Galarion
After which the beings fade away one by one until only the muscular being is left bitterly watching the mortal realm. He sings alone and three dark clouds are created, they each fall to Galarion.
As the creature also vanishes, the stairs once again begin to streak past you and a blue flash returns you to the library.
If you are crazy, then we all are. I have to admit, I didn't expect a reaction like that to the spell, although then again, I didn't expect it to fire off at all. Usually it only worked on living people.
Elon shakes his head and stands, gripping the quarterstaff a little more strongly than before. His mind was still trying to catch up with the vision they had just had, work out truth from fiction, as well as the names of the gods, based on his own training.
The main gods seen in that vision thing, not the minor ones.
I have a small spell that allows me to manipulate life energies in such a way that a person or animal can heal quicker as their energies are more targetted. I have never seen it work on a physical structure, but with them being so powerfully charged with magic, I had hoped that perhaps they might be. It was worth a gamble, and the results were what we just experienced. Blame me if you will, but we know more now than we did before. Not much more, but any information is power.
With a roll of 13 you do not know much. You know that you do not know anything of these beings, you have not heard nor seen anything of them in your history. You get the idea that the minor gods they spoke of where the gods you where used to hearing about but that is all you know for sure.
"Do not worry Archaouss, a Little crazy can keep you sane."
"It seems what ever was in the orb wanted to tell you something. The orbs have energy, not memory. At least if they have memory it is the first time they have shared it. Though as I said they are living, kind off."
"So now you know some of what I knew. That the orbs where a gift from the gods and that they where sent here to keep the balance. This village is blessed and cursed. We have held the key to the earths survival for so long and not many people knew what we had."
"Who was it that told you not to let Argius touch the orb? Was it Eliana?"
