The shadowy girl ripples and vanishes like a mirage. Another image appears, deeper into the maze, a girl on her knees, again shadowy, calling out

then screams as if in pain. The figure seems to shrink, then vanish.

You look behind you and the trail seems to have vanished. All is these pillars and mist. In front of you, up high as if on a hill appears a small hut, sitting on what seems to be crouching chicken legs. The sound of a child giggling evilly is heard, and strangely the sound morphs into the cackle of a mad hag, high pitched and promising malevolence. A wave of fear crosses you all like a chill to the soul.

no, I am sorry. I thought for a moment this was the dancing hut of baba yaga, the witch queen. It is not. It is a replica, but may still be dangerous. Many of these line the borders of irisen, to mark it and keep watch. I know little more, but we north folk tend to avoid them if we can.
She looks at the rising mist

The doll seems to be that of a little girl, with a child's skirt and flaxen hair, but the face is that of a crone. One eye is a blue gemstone, the other is a polished mirror the size of a coin.

It...just sits there, no movement at all.

Rikael, i don't think you can reach the doll, too many people in the way including a BIG urga. BTW all, hopefully you can move things on the map now. If not could you let me know.

EDIT Actually now I think about it you can sort of. But it takes a move action to move under the doll, and to jump (same action) then hit. I'm allowing it. unfortunately...

Rikael moves through the party, then leaps into the air to catch the doll with his blade. But though the leap got him close enough to strike, the blow missed.
