The blue Halfling attempts to flee and gets bashed by Brayne, Kulga, and gets finished off by Purpuurup.
The acid banishes poor Celeste and hits Purpuurp. Not Garduk

Excellent!
Garduk steps back forward into the doorway, and flinches at the fiend-caused chaos.
I don't like the look of that back wall, either. We need to end this, fast.
With the last of the arcane energy he is able to muster, Garduk cups his hands together into a sphere for a moment, then once again pulls one arm back over his shoulder and launches a ball of nothing at the tiny golden creature on the wall. As his arm is aimed right at Karan, a large ball of snow, riddled with chunks of ice, appears at the tips of his fingers and speeds toward it.

Purpuurup's god being extra generous grants her request of a second spiritual weapon, which she casts against the golden outsider. The weapon's attack misses.

He calls forth his most powerful ally yet.

Purpuurup's spiritual weapon attacks again but can't hit the elusive creature, while Purpurrup channels positive energy again.

As he hurries past Kulga, Garduk drops his loaded crossbow and quiver of cold iron bolts at her feet.
"I hope you can make better use of this against it than I could."
Getting as close to Karan as he can, Garduk points the wand at the tripasura. The wand is one he found during his formal Confirmation as a Pathfinder, on the day he earned his Wayfinder. Pathfinders are up, Brayne give me a Fort save (DC12), AOOs on Karan. It's still on the ground.
Marty the Mud Elemental |
Marty, his caller's adversary finally within reach, oozes past Kulga and Garduk and barrels into the tripurasura.
Slam!, Bless: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 1 = 101d4 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Kulga Gruenakslag |
Unarmed when it stood up, so no AoO
Kulga snatches up her shield provoking? and slams it into the creature, planning to drive it back to the ground.
Shield Slam: 1d20 + 9 + 1 + 1 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 1 + 1 + 2 - 2 = 18 Knocked prone on hit vs. CMD
Magic Piercing: 1d6 + 5 + 1 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 18
GM Reroll: 1d20 + 9 + 1 + 1 + 2 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 9 + 1 + 1 + 2 - 2 + 2 = 24
Not again - no escape!
Garduk the Unteachable |
Chaosorbit - Garduk still has one charge left on the [/i]wand of burning hands[/i]. It had 4 charges when he bought it, and he has only used 3.
Garduk growls as the mud elemental's attack goes wild.
If you want to get something done...
He considers the single charge remaining on the [/i]wand of burning hands[/i], glances at Brayne, who would be unavoidably in the line cone of fire, and decides against it. Instead, he takes a step back, pulls out one of his scrolls of magic missile, and quickly reads the arcane runes storing the power of the spell. A missile, shaped like a large wasp, speeds at the tiny fiend and hits it in its midsection.
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Hmmm. The wizard who scribed this must have been a Calistrian.
"Go back to Hell already!"
Brayne |
Brayne picks himself up from the fall, and goes into a crazy frenzy attempting to stop the creature while he has the chance.
Bite,Rage,PA,Bless: 1d20 + 6 + 2 - 1 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 6 + 2 - 1 + 1 = 21B/P/S: 1d4 + 5 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 2 + 2 = 13 +d6 bleed
Move to stand, std to bite, last round of rage.
Chaosorbit |
@Garduk - oops, misread that, no worries.
@Brayne - need a Fort save, I'll go ahead and roll it.
@Brayne - You can take an AOO if you want, as Karan stood up from prone.
@Kulga - another well used reroll.
Brayne Fort save v. DC12: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Sting: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Wand of CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Bleed: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Kulga goes for her shield, Karan can not reach her with its tongue. Kulga goes to work promptly knocking the tiny creature over again. Muddy Marty misses, but Garduk adds a magic missile. Brayne stands up, and Karan does take the opportunity to lash out with its stinger tongue, hitting again. Brayne bites back, tearing the outsiders flesh.
Purpuurup decides one more heal might be prudent for self-preservation; but then begins to move in to support once more.
Karan continues to bleed, and isn't looking good. She speaks something in a strange tongue.
Sit animabus vestris iis paratum scimus esse Caina!
May your souls be doomed to Caina!
It stands, opening itself to attack again.
Round 10 Effects Active: Bless
