Windom takes a step or two back, looks at Zavar, and blinks a few times. There is a look of expected conflict.

Zavar, we have very unique guests on the doorstep. I believe they will be making their way in any moment. Here, Casts spell on Zavar. make no hostile actions and you will stay invisible for at least ten minutes, stay safe. Drasven! Your axe would be most appreciated to greet our guests.

Windom grabs (if available) a piece of furniture, hopefully a table, and try to brace the door for a few more moments.

Is my poor knowledge religion roll high enough to identify zombies? They are my specialty, in my back ground they ate my family. Just want to know I need a slashing weapon.

Windom:
No roll necessary. You smell zombie. Typically you need to see foe to ID them, but your background negates this requirement.

Kendra! Kendra! Come to me quickly! Someone get me an axe, sword, something with an edge; my Morningstar is useless against these unquiet dead. Where in the name of the gods is Cassandra!? Cass! Cass!

Is there a hatchet near the fire place, or meat cleaver in the kitchen? Something that could be grabbed in a round?

If Kendra comes I will cast hide from undead on her also. I will then direct her to get me a bladed weapon while I hold the door. Need be she can go to my room for my dagger. Then she can safely stand to the side and assist us without provoking the zombies.

There is a hand axe by the fireplace which is the closest slashing weapon available.

Her flowing red silk nightgown unintentionally reveals her soft pale bosom and long shapely legs as she hastily retrieves the weapon. The adrenaline of danger has temporarily suppressed her modesty.

Stern face, as to not excite her.

Kendra, we are being attacked by restless dead. I cast a protection spell on you, do not attack them and they will not see you. If they overrun us take off and go to the church. I will keep you safe if you stand by me. Everything will be fine.

Assuming if the professor was your daddy you know the ropes and the quick version will do.

Quick inspection of the hatchet and a mock swing to gauge the balance.

Windom nods at the dwarf and throws away the table he was using to help brace the door, he then pulls the doors open and falls back to where Drasven is. With some mirth in his voice.

As the beaten door swings wide, undead Professor Lorrimor shambles through the entrance as Drasven's greataxe cleaves him and his sunken head precisely in half. His left and right side hang in mid-air for a second before collapsing to the floor. Maggots and worms fresh from the grave slither about on the clean oak floors. His silver pocket watch clinks away and rolls to Zavar's feet.

Kendra screams, FATHER!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!! She begins to faint and collapse beside Windom.

Two more zombies enter one provoking Drasven's backswing (using your roll from last Monday night at 10:16 PM for Lorrimor and today's for AoO). The zombie's torso is eviscerated from shoulder to pelvis as its large intestine track unravels on top of the undead Professor. A stench of rotten eggs explodes in the room. The last zombie steps over his undead brethren and positions himself in the northwestern corner of the room near a coat rack.

Windom gears up and takes a seat next to Kendra taking a moment to notice she is semi unresponsive. He has been here before, twice, the professor helped to bring him back to a stable place but it took many weeks. Those were hard times, questioning reality, not trusting anyone, and the haunting dreams that still cripple him to this day. Kendra has a long road to traverse, he would repay the professor by holding her hand through the pain.

Windom gives directions to the house servants; warm blankets, tea, spark a fire, and a bottle of bourbon. He will get her comfortable in front of the fire, and help her sip some bourbon tea. He will talk to her all night, in a comfortable soothing voice, holding her hand waiting for her to squeeze. That he remembered was the first step out of his trance, he let someone know he was listening. He will stay the night with her while he keeps watch for phantoms. When the sun comes up the servants will get a doctor, if the city is safe.

There are no words needed to explain his action. Seeing nDevere's limp body slung over like a sack over the skeleton's shoulder spurs the dwarf into action.
Charging in like enraged bull, Drasven swings his axe. He only needs one swing and it's needed to make it count.

Drasven gives nDevere a one handed hug careful not to cut her with his axe.

"Мои извинения милочка, мне пришлось иметь дело с несколькими неприветствуемым гостей дома, что настояли на развлекают.

Они взяли мои шутки слишком буквально и на куски сейчас. Я молюсь, чтобы они не восстановить."

Dwarven:

My Apologies lassie, I had to deal with a few unwelcomed house guests that insisted on being entertained.

They took my jokes too literally and are in pieces now. I pray that they don't recover.

Feeling Cassandra's warm inviting energy from her enveloping all of them, he gives her a nod and checking on nDevere, he continues
"Let us go hunting, Undead Bones and Flesh will whiter asunder once we are all through with them. By Angradd, let us bring the fight to these blighted ones!!!!" finished he begins to move towards the houses (if there are no other zombies here)
