Carrion Crown Chapter 1 - The Haunting of Harrowstone
Game Master Deevor

I have devoted many of my studies to all manner of evil, that I might know the enemy and inform those better positioned to stand against it.

The discussion thread continues here...

....if someone with the Gothic Character Pre-Gen book can send me a copy for Everiss, then I'll advertise for a new player on the new recruitment thread.

(Male Half-Orc Paladin (Undead Scourge) 1)

Huzzah! Finally!

*dotting*

Will wait for Ysabot to post in next 48 hrs ... feel free to roleplay amongst yourselves in the meantime.

Jump the paladin's bones in a holy place? *Salutes* Aye, Cap'n!

*laughs*

I'll get my first post up today. :]

Aw, yeah!!!! Agrimar gets the chicks every time!

opposing forces of good will just tear each other apart eventually. Like when her aura becomes overwhelmingly chaotic at level 11 :P

I have it, I can send you Ereviss' character sheet this evening.

Am here and dotting this.

And now all the pieces have come together. X)

Deevor, I sent the info for Ereviss' character sheet.

Thanks FK, received.

Coming in and trying to make a dramatic entrance.

Mission accomplished, I'd say.

The quality of the roleplaying was pretty high on the posts to date; I was inspired to keep up.

(Male Half-Orc Paladin (Undead Scourge) 1)

For Jevalt, I just wanted to say that it won't take much sensing of motives to realize that he makes Agrimar uncomfortable. This is, of course, due to the fact that Agrimar hates the undead passionately. Still, I look forward to role-playing a slow shift in Agrimar's attitude as he gets to know the inquisitor better. Not looking to brew up any serious inter-party conflict or anything.

Indeed, it seems like the game has begun to hit a nice stride.

Jevalt is very slow to trust people, but I look forward to the opportunity to play out his gradual change of personality as he gets to know the others. I think Agrimar and he are incredibly similar and I'm excited to get to see how that comes out. Plus, Jevalt is an inquisitor. He's used to making people uncomfortable on purpose so much that it's become second nature.

Speaking of making people uncomfortable, maybe my last post makes you uncomfortable in game. I think we can play well of each other. You are dark brooding member of our boy band.

Lol, I think of Ereviss and Jevalt as having a relationship similar to that of J.D. and Dr. Cox from Scrubs. Like they purposely get on each others' nerves, but are actually quite good friends.

Upstaged already, I love this group

OOps I was the one upstaged, you are the one waiting for that Zeitgeist thing to happen

Sorry Theodric has a flair for dramatic entrances and appearing when not wanted.

Well done, Lost Gamer! I enjoyed that scene.

(Female Human Housewife/1)

wow, it sucks being in europe. when things move so fast, i just get the impression that my character is sitting staring like a boob as the world passes by.

i'll throw something up later today, doubt many people will be up so i am in no rush.

(Male Half-Elf Ranger (skirmisher) 1)

I second the previous two posters o.0

I must say I'm enjoying this game immensely so far :)

Won't have time for much the next couple of days...work parties, food and drink...I've got 2 to go to, so keep chatting and developing your characters please.

(Female Human Housewife/1)

mmmmm. food and drink. Enjoy yourself.

And Aye-aye, cap'n!

Let me know when Ereviss become too much.

(Female Human Housewife/1)

I'm enjoying him, actually. When the poo hits the fan, it'll be interesting to see how he takes it.

As his foil, will Jevalt enjoy him too?

(Female Human Housewife/1)

hey, if the bard was using his bluff check against us just now, Jevalt already has *laughs*

If Jevalt has to roll some dice now, we know the outlandish story maybe wasn't so outlandish.

Thanks it's been sitting in the back of my head for a long time. I did like the fact that the eidolon wasn't some weird creature that was maxed out for attacks and stuff, but had more history and RP tagged along with it.

In Europe?!? That probably is bad. I was only away for 10 hours at work today and I feel the same way.

Going to catch up now but will give someone else their time in the spotlight. :)

I think Ereviss had to try for a second dramatic scene - his personality couldn't allow hims to be upstaged.

Thanks had a good time, bit of excess alcohol...

....I'll be back on Tuesday, I have some real life challenges at the moment. Having to get my mother to stay with us as she is not good at this time, and take her for a hospital appointment. Sorry, but that's life.

Liked the interactions so far, can't do them justice until I get back and have a good look at them.

See Jevalt, my story with you and the professor has the lady intrigued. You owe me one buddy!

(Female Human Housewife/1)

erm, what lady? Eilinica just noticed that jevalt was the only who wasn't participating, and she's a friendly lady. :)

It's okay, real life responsibilities have to come first. We'll be here when you're ready.

No worries mate.

Take care of your family first.
We'll be hanging out until you return.

Used one of the new avvy's for Eilinica. Is less... warlike than the other and not so hard as some.

Mother now admitted to hospital, with fractured vertebrae at the base of her spine, in for more scans to see why they fractured/compacted. She is in the oncology ward, don't know how long they expect to keep her in hospital.

I expect life will get a bit difficult soon, will hopefully move you on later today. I'll keep you going on, but my posts may be a bit briefer. Just wanted you to know that I'm not giving up on the game.

(Male Half-Elf Ranger (skirmisher) 1)

Sorry to hear that, I hope your mother will recover. I've had a similar thing happen to a colleague due to trauma, and he was able to move (but not sit) in around two weeks. But of course, the age matters here :(
I appreciate you keeping in touch with us.

Like the new pic!

(Female Human Housewife/1)

Sorry to hear about your mother. I've seen my folks take some hard falls the passed few years, and I know it isn't easy. My thoughts are with you and your family.

(Male Human (American) Dungeon Master (Action Movie Director) 17)

Love the new avi pic Eilinica. Also, Sorry about your mom, Deevor. Hope everything comes out alright. Good to hear from you, though, thanks.

Best wishes and hopes from me as well.

If anyone can't see Player Handout 1, please let me know, (its hyperlinked from the gameplay thread, from opening the box).
Otherwise I will assume its accessible to all.

And thanks for everyone's kind wishes, much appreciated.

Seeing handout fine. Checking to make sure I am still not 'too much'. The comment that Ereviss was amusing just made me go more over the top.

Deevor - sending your mum good recovery thoughts.

I've had the plague the last few days, not keeping food down. I hope to be back up to speed in a couple of days.
