So very sorry, Zelda. Your family's really not having a good few years. :(
Aliseya Belododia |
Egads. I didn't realize I hadn't posted in an entire week. Sorry all, real life's just been very busy. It will continue being busy, but I will certainly try to post more frequently than once a week at least, lol.

Aliseya this rules do state that "This spell does not affect a corpse that has been turned into an undead creature"
Sorry

In other campaigns I'm in, healing is a group expense. For example if someone dies, we all chip in on the raise - otherwise everyone's uneven, and some folks fall behind, usually the front liners. I suggest the same is true here, but I'll go with majority vote if folks disagree. Restorations are expensive (lvl x lvl x 10 + 1,000 = 1,280gp per casting) and we should share the expense.
However, I think we have a better solution. If a single restoration is cast prior to the 24 hours, it should eliminate the temporary negative levels, so they never have a chance to become permanent. See restoration (link). We have a wand of it somewhere. It had 12 charges and should still have a few left. We could use once of each of you, and that should eliminate the problem.
Oaken Spirit, do you read the spell the same way?
Zelda Lamplighter |
I will also go with what the group decides. unfortunately I also notice that it will only take care of 1 negative level per week.
Govannon Gittins |
Oaken Spirit - oh right. Sorry, my mistake.
Zelda, That's only if it's permanent.
We're within the 24 hours when we visit the priests, so it's just 380gp per casting (I think), one casting each (again, I could be wrong, but it says 'dispels temporary negative levels' note the plural).
So three people, 380gp each, that's just 1,140 if I did the math right and all the temporary negative levels are healed - before they become permanent and a bother.
We could round it up to 1,200gp, and throw in a donation to the church. Everyone just need to chip in 200gp and we're back to snuff!

I will write up what I say at the trail on Friday. Sorry for the delay but I am not working on Friday so I will have time to think about what I want to say :)
Aliseya Belododia |
Nice job Zelda. :)
And yes, thanks for the correction on that spell. I apparently read the entire text EXCEPT for the last sentence, lol.
...
All - I've still been overloaded with work and exhaustion at night (when I usually post), sorry for my prolonged absences. This will probably continue for a while longer, sorry. I'll try to get in at least two posts per week though, if not more...
As for the restorations, I generally favor group purchases, but I'm open to either way.
Aliseya Belododia |
Sooo sorry for the long absence. Too much on my plate atm. Catching up now...
Aliseya Belododia |
Been a while, I'm catching up now...
Aliseya Belododia |
Oh, man! Sickened? Sucks to be me right now...
:p ;)
Jk, lol. So who ISN'T either paralyzed or nearly dead besides me?!
Hmmm... perhaps I shouldn't jinx myself... :o
Aliseya Belododia |
Aliseya, I thought it was one question per two levels? Or do you get a boost as a Medium? I don't know the class...
Correct. Two questions then. I seem to have difficulty remembering spell descriptions in this game particularly, lol. I always seem to get one important thing totally wrong.
...too bad we don't get three questions. I could've made a Monty Python pun. ;p :)

It is a DC25 climb check to make it up the brick masonry to one of the second story windows.
Do you mean it's DC 25 without the aid of rope?
(Edit: not that it matters in my case, with THOSE rolls... lol)
Caracotl on 2nd inspection has rope, I am unsure of its length. The cleric's kit just lists that it has rope.
50 ft. of rope is the assumption according to the equipment descriptions in the Core Rulebook for both regular (hemp) and silk rope. And the kits (cleric's, etc.) all assume that as well in the given costs and weights.
Aliseya Belododia |
Thanks OS, in that case I'll just take 10 then and avoid all the inevitable "climb, fall on my butt, repeat" drama, lol.
Zelda Lamplighter |
I no longer see where I am on the map. I was also not included in the initiative order.
Aliseya Belododia |
There are too many sorry's in the last few posts, so here's one more. I'll be posting soon...
Good luck with all of that, Caracotl. :)
Aliseya Belododia |
As Aliseya begins casting her spell the mongrelman again swipes her with its club (casting a spell in melee invokes an AoO: 7 hp damage).
No AoO, actually. Sorry for the confusion: though I rolled my concentration check in my post (29 result), I forgot to mention why I was rolling it: to cast defensively.
Aliseya Belododia |
No prob, thanks.
I'm going away for a few days and there's spotty Internet, so I might not be back until perhaps Thursday night.
Caracotl |
Sorry for the absence in the battle. Move 1 is done, out of my current apartment, currently living back at home. Should be back to normal posting for 2 weeks now and then might go MIA for a bit end of June/start of July when move 2 occurs.
