Here's hoping someone has scheduling conflicts... ;)

Or the party gets expanded to 7... :]

Stay tuned, fray. I'm thinking things over.

Everyone, Hugo Solis has kindly made the artwork for these characters available for viewing on his Deviant Art page. I think you'll agree, Hugo has done some great work here, so definitely check out these portraits. :)

For reference, our current roster:

1. Stomphoof - Agrimar Vaskel, LG male half-orc paladin of Iomedae (undead scourge)
2. flykiller - Merenso Kull, NG male half-elf ranger (skirmisher)
3. Lost Gamer - Dominnia Vorsaife, NG female aasimar summoner and her eidolon, Theodric
4. Hu5tru - Eilinica Ziorec, CG female human cleric of Desna
5. Daniel Stewart
6. LordHector

Alternates

1. fray
2. Camris
3. Devastation Bob
4. Manx Serimus

"Prepare thee to feel the wrath of Theodric Vorsaife! Thy doom be at hand!"

Hmmm... need to practice my archaic speech for this one. Love the character umm... characters as I think Theodric will have as much character as Dominnia.

Also will be working on how Theodric died and maybe some of his accomplishments before his demise.

Kudos to the Legendary Games team! I will be purchasing Gothic Heroes next week for sure.

Now, I must say! Hardly any artist has yet managed to capture so much minute detail, to tranfer the subtle but powerful look on the canvas so well! Good job, sir Hugo, truly, you've done an excellent job in painting my trusty longbow!

I could, by the way, tell a grand tale of what was left behind the painting - I was actually posing alongside a graceful deer I've just shot from this very bow on the hunt we went together. It was one of the most graceful deers to have ever been killed in the forests of Ustalav, or so I've been told by others who have accompanied me that day. But that's another story, which is best enjoyed in a tavern while having a pint of good cider.

OOC:

Really, the portraits are beyond awesome :) How can I use it for the avatar?
Anyway, here's Merenso's profile. Can't wait to start adventuring!

Going to that page makes me want to play the Gorilla Witch (with the Halfling familiar) just above the Gothic pregens...

Man, his art just keeps getting better.

** spoiler omitted **

Agreed, it would be awesome if we could use those portraits as avatars, but it doesn't seem possible right now. Still, I wanted to make sure you all saw them for inspiration and reference when choosing from the avatars available here. You and Stomphoof both chose well, imo, and I'm sure the others will do the same. :)

I have a question. Under the Campaign Guide, it says if you start play as a Varisian, you automatically gain the language, for free.

Is that still in effect under the Inner Sea Guide? If not... well then... hrmm...

Also I am wondering about a few of the spells that Eilinica has prepared, but I can look those up myself.

Edit

To clarify, Eilinica has Brand (An inquisitor spell) and Disrupt Undead (a sorc/wizard) spell prepared as cantrips, and they're not on the cleric's spell list. This is what I have concerns about.

Well here's hoping this is close. Not to many long haired blondes in the avatar area.

I have been looking into the history of the Silver Crusade, the defeat of Tar-Baphon, and the rise of Iomedae to god stats. All things that would lead a girl to wonder what her destiny truly is.

In the background she doesn't believe it is to head north and fight demons.

I am also working hard on Sir Theodric's background. I want to keep it open enough for the GM to add in things if he wishes. Maybe he has forgotten some things - INT and WIS might not have been as low as they are now when he was alive.

So far I have he was born in 3793 and became a Knight of Ozem in 3814. He was present and saw the defeat of Arazni and thus rightfully fears The Whispering Tyrant.

Died in 3826 and missed the final battle for which he is slightly ashamed.

Lot of info out there just need to figure it all in.

I'm tuned in and ready.

Drat! That's an error I thought we worked out during editing, but somehow I still missed it. Basically, that's a copy/paste error that carried over from the inquisitor's stat-block for Jevalt Ardain. I've alerted Clark and Tim and they'll be adjusting the PDF. In the meantime, it should have been...

0 (at will)--guidance, light, mending, stabilize

Thanks for the correction. I play clerics bunches, and disrupt undead would be an awesome spell to have as one.

Wow, now that's good service! Thank you, Neil!

Okay, we haven't heard anything from Daniel Stewart in over 48 hours, so I'm going to bump him down. Lord Hector, that means the fifth spot is yours. You still want Jevalt? He's yours unless you've changed your mind. Let me know, and I'll send you his details.

Great, because you've been promoted to player #6 fray! Assuming Lord Hector does want Jevalt, it looks like your next choice was Ysabot the witch? Let me know if that still holds true.

Thanks for putting so much thought into the background details, LG. That's the sort of thing that will make this game a success. I'm sure we can work together as the campaign progresses to flesh out the story of the Vorsaife clan (and the other PCs as well)!

Everyone, I've created our discussion thread. For those who have all of their PC information and aliases created, please migrate over there for further discussion. We'll reserve this thread for rounding out the rest of the player selections.

Shadow Lodge (Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber)

I would indeed still like Jevalt. No need to send me his info, I got the characters. I'll get to work on my alias.

Ah, great! Saves me some work. :)

Alias all made, just need to get the relevant info filled in in the morning.

Cool! Now we just need to hear from fray.

Feel free to join us over in the Discussion thread any time, Lord Hector.

Sorry for the late reply...was away all weekend and no computer to check. If the position is already filled, thats cool...my bad for not getting back sooner, but if it is still open, then I would be interested in playing Ereviss.

Well, you know, I'm already going to have to beef up the combat encounters to accomodate a party of six, so I ask myself would seven PCs really make that much difference? Probably not. You know what, Daniel, you're in too. I'll send you the stats for Ereviss. You can jump over to the discussion side of things.

fray, your invitation to play as Ysabot still stands. Just let me know, please.

Daniel, stats for Ereviss have been sent, so you can get an alias made up.

Hey thanks a lot!! I will try and get it up tonight!! I look forward to playing!!!

Eh, what the heck...maybe I'm crazy, but it has been suggested on the Discussion thread that since we're planning on using seven of the characters, we may as well just go ahead with all eight.

So, we need an alchemist. (And maybe a witch, too, though I'm still holding out hope that fray shows up...he seemed so enthusiastic).

So, Camris, you're up...feel like playing as Xiuj Hak Leyng of the Seven-Ghost-Needles? Speak up if you're still watching the thread.

Devastation Bob, if you're still out there, keep a close watch in case either of the afore-mentioned fellows bows out or fails to show.

Still out here.

Devastation Bob wrote:

Sold! Would you like to run the witch or the alchemist?

I own the pdf, let me read them over and I'll get back in a few. Unless you have a pref.

Devastation Bob wrote:

I have a slight preference toward Ysabot, just because of the relationship with Agrimar. I think that would allow for some cool role-playing opportunities. That said, I'd be fine with either choice. Once you've decided, please create an alias and check in on the discussion thread.

Attention fray and Devastation Bob: The Game thread will kick off tomorrow, with or without you guys. Fair warning.

Fair enough, I'm having some issues (computer and otherwise) so I doubt I'll have a profile up in time. I'd still like to read along though.

I'm In! I'm still here guys...

Xiuj Hak Leyng of the Seven-Ghost-Needles.
Did I understand correctly that you would send me the character?
If so, my e-mail is

You're in, and I will send it to you, thanks Camris!

Nothing received yet; should I just buy the pdf?

I did - check your mail. :)

Got it! I'm good now.

Am I out now?
I thought I'd get en email if I got it... just checked the thread now.
