Mayhaps the DM meant we were starting Monday the 7th...

DM has a wife and family and the holidays are closing in fast.

As a GM on these boards myself, I am fine with him taking as much time as he believes he needs to make the intro good. He will be running for 8 characters.

That said, I am cool with postpoing for a while longer. Hubby shared the illness he was working on when he picked me up at the airport with me, so now on top of jetlag I have sick. Is not fun.

I believe it's no longer 8 characters - we lost Agrimar and neither of two candidates for Ysabot showed up (must be some kind of hex).

That said, I can relate because everyone in my family is ill right now except for me, which is directly opposite of what usually happens.

I can relate to slow starts myself. Being sick, working two jobs, and having a family does get in the way of posting at times, lol.

Well first I hope everything is alright in AoC's real life. You never know when it can rear it's ugly head and take a bite at you.

For everyone else - It has been over a week since his last post and I truly wish to play this with these characters. What if we were to give him another week and then look into finding a GM to inherit this.

I wish AoC would post something - even to say he has delayed/postponed this game. But he hasn't posted anywhere on the boards since the 31st of OCT. :(

I, too, wish AoC to recover sooner from anything which might have befallen him. Or, in case everything is fine - to get more free time! :)

I think 1 more week sounds reasonable. I am not opposed to reopening recruitment for Agrimar and Ysabot, too.

I'm gonna get my old desktop going, so I don't have to use my work laptop for all this. In the process of getting that done..

I DM'd a previous game on here, which taught me a lot, as did taking over from the DM in a Kingmaker campaign, whilst the real DM was very busy in RL...

The game I DM'd was a lot of fun but failed when I got snowed under...
I've learnt from that though. The Kingmaker campaign ended prematurely when the DM gave it up and the rest of the players dissappeared without trace, otherwise I might have continued DMing that, but that's life on the boards...

In RL, Tuesdays and Thursdays are gaming nights...when I DM in those it will take time away from this, as otherwise I will hope to post daily during the weekdays and weekends probably.
