Setebo |
Assuming the capt' has his armor back but he has not given up the long spear. If this is incorrect please replace the following with brace spear for charge. AC 18, touch Ac 12 if still in the breastplate.
Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25, damage 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7.
Setebo moves beside Our lady leaving a 5' gap between if there is room.
His hairy hands draw the rust stained greatsword as he assumes a defensive stance.
Total defence, current AC 21 touch 19. Gods bless the acrobatics skill.

I am sorry about that! RL is still killing me~ Changed my spells and updated my character page to show the change.
Cast Produce Flame (3 uses, Rnged Touch Attack
Throw Flame @ creature #1 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Damage -> 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Atzi had been sad to leave Quetza and the Dragon behin, but both of them would be more encumbrance then use down in the dank dark of the underground. She felt somewhat vulnerable and hung back at the rear of the group pulling what little heat was in the air to form a flame that encompassed her hand.
As soon as the smell of these creatures hit her nostrils, her eyes narrowed and she snarled. "Abominations!" As the word left her lips she tossed a flaming ball at one of them hoping to strike it down and burn its foul body to ashes.
DM Wellard |
Caithen??
Reflex save vs Flaming Sphere1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
One creature hisses as Atzi's flame scorches it's stinking flesh, but the second hurdles Amisi's flaming sphere as if it was a farm gate. They rush upon Natalyah and Setebo snapping at them with viscious jaws their hooked claws ready to slash.
Bite Setebo 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Bite Setebo 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Bite Natalyah 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
..the weaving blades of the stalwart pair however, manage to keep them from connecting.

Natalyah is able to anticipate the creatures attack and she gracefully evades its bite. Her short sword lashes out to test the creatures defences. Her dagger follows pressing the creature to the uttermost to defend itself.
Full round action to take a 5ft to the left of one of the creatures (to hopefully be able to flank with Setebo next round) then attack twice:
Main hand (mwk short sword): 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 8 - 2 = 9 (-2 two weapon fighting), damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Off hand (magic dagger): 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 8 - 2 = 18 (-2 two weapon fighting), damage 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Caithan Kalson |
Stepping forward Caithan jabs a spear at the nearest creature. While Rollo tries to circle around the weaving blads hisses and grease of the group.

Round 2, Initiatve 19
Atzi hung back and tossed yet another of flame at these abominations. She target her original target and waited for the right moment to toss another ball of flame at it.

Setebo abandons his guarded stance forcing the creature before him to react to his attack. Hopefully drawing attention from Rollo and OLOB.
Attack thing closest to Rollo to try to open a flank. Attack w/ 2h sword 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20. Damage, whetstone 2d6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 2) + 6 + 1 = 11.

I neglected to state that Caiithen barely missed last time
Setebo severely hurts the middle creature which is so far unhurt.
Helga creates an area of slick ice under their feet and miraculously all three manage to stay upright.

Something must be wrong I'm actually getting decent dice rolls for once
Setebo |
round 3
Hoping to break their line Setebo continues to focus on the wounded center creature. Faking a slice to its head he spins into a stabbing attack to the exposed chest.

Atzi continued to target the abomination she originally burned and her final throw was a lot more skillful then her last one. She somehow managed to toss the ball of flame right as the creature opened its foul maw and smiled in delight as it yelped from the flame that struck the back of its foul throat...

Taking Caithen into DMPC mode
Caithen stabs again with the spear taking one of the foul beings down then stabs at its neighbour and misses.

Full round action to attack:
Main hand: 1d20 + 8 - 2 - 1 ⇒ (11) + 8 - 2 - 1 = 16 (-2 two weapon fighting, -1 power attack), 1d6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 2 = 7 (+2 power attack)

Add +2 to both attacks if i manage to set up a flank

Natalyah does indeed move into a flanking position with Setebo.Once again ichor spatters her as she lays her target low the disf=gusting smell seems to have absoloutly no effect
Fort Save1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Setebo's slash at the remaining foe fails to connect as does Helga's shot with the bow then Atzi reduces it to ash
Amisi pouts as her sphere no longer has a target.
You make a quick search off this cave..finding nothing of worth but something of interest..a strip of Leather Armour written on in letters of blood.
The message reads
I am Captain Alizandru Kovack, betrayer of my crew and destroyer of the good ship Jenivere. Hell would be a welcome escape from what hideous unlife looms before me, but it is no less a punishment than I deserve. That I was enslaved mind and body to a serpentine demon who wore a Varisian’s skin does not pardon me. It is my weakness that led the Jenivere, her crew, and her passengers to their doom.
That Ieana has abandoned me here is nothing more than the fate I deserve. I do not beg forgiveness, but I despair that she lives still, and that she seeks something dire on this forsaken isle—she seemed
particularly interested in Red Mountain.
If you read this and you be a kind soul, seek out what I have become and destroy me, and then seek out Ieana and slay her as well. And to those whose lives I have helped destroy, I can only apologize from this, my dark cradle and darker grave.
Setebo |
"This woman turned her captain to this?"
Setebo wipes the blood from the sword on one of the less roasted things.
"Perhaps....we should leave her be. She must have been the snake that stayed here. She is skilled at changing her form and twisting people's minds. Would it be better to leave the red mountain to her? We should clear this cave so we can sleep safely but should we pursue her after that?
There is another exit almost immediately opposite the passage you entered by
Dark-vision see anything down it?
Setebo |
"Aye, Captain. Sit tight, I'll take a gander."
As silently as he can (Hey I have a positive stealth mod! What do you know.) Setebo creeps to the bend in the passage. Crouching he sticks his hairy head round and sees what there is to see.
stealth +2 at the moment
DM Wellard |
Well I went there years ago
Setebo creps further round until he can gain a view off a wider area.
Stealth1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Unfortunately a dry old bone escapes his notice and cracks under foot with a noise like a whip lash. There is a hissing and two figures move quickly towards him.Thankfully in this narrow tunnel they will only be able to engage him one at a time.
Natalyah Melethiell |
Natalyah stands waiting unpatiently at the tunnelentrance, waiting for Setebo to come back. She listens for if she can hear any sign of the barbarians progress (Perception check (taking 10): 10 + 13 = 23).
If she can hear that something is amiss (like Setebo yelling, etc.)
"The lights!", she barks at Helga and makes her way down into the tunnel with her blades drawn.
Setebo |
Well I had the javelin ready...
Setebo's arm flashes forward sending one of the savages javelins streaking towards the closest figure. Hoping than slowed them down Setebo falls back towards the previous chamber, drawing the rusty greatsword as he does.
Standard Action:Attack, javelin, assuming song has not kicked in yet 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24. Damage 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5.

Growling in frustration at the glancing hit Setebo calls back to the others. "Two more chasing me!"
DM Wellard |
No-one has left the cavern apart from Setebo so no corners to go round
"That" says Setebo as the first off the creatues arrives at the tunnels mouth.Natalyah immediately recognises the rnow ripped and stained clothing it wears..it is the Captain and she can have a +2 circumstance bonus against him

Atzi - let me cast first before you rush in.
Cast Disrupt Undead - ranged touch: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
I have no clue if this is already combat and if anyone is in front. So I can have modifier between 0 (no cover, no combat) and -8 (cover and combat). Amisi will move if this avoids cover..
Okay - just spot the damage roll :((
Atzi |
Thats fine Amisi :), I think the tunnel is pretty packed now anyways if i'm correct Natalyah is down there with Setebo.
Atzi stares in shock at the abomination the Captain had become and as Amisi's spell harms it ever so slightly she searches her mind for what she could possibly use against it in such tight quarters...
Delay until next round~
