Mikraft's powerful low obliterates the remaining centipede.
Combat over
The walls of this chamber have buckled in several places, and rubble is scattered about the floor. 5 rotted bed frames lie along the walls, and a rusted iron statue depicting a wickedly grinning man stands in a alcove, across from an iron door.

Mikraft takes a look at the statue after Xylas pointed it out. That grin does look a little suspicious. Mikraft squints: he could swear he's seen this guy somewhere.
Diana steps back, cleans the ichor off her blade, and then sheathes it. She watches silently as the others inspect the statue, keeping well back from it out of caution.
Leithe has no special skills to aid her with the "door" or knowledge of the statue, so, blade out and ready, she stands and watches as others ply their trades.
Mikraft don't notice any traps, but he does notice a pair of silvery daggers in the rubble. They have a strange series of notches carved into the flat of the blades.

Xylas looks appreciatively at the fancy daggers. "Well, that beats a kick in the teeth. Why don't we see what's in the statue," Xylas tries to open it based on the position of the hinges.

Xylas looks on in horror as bones tumble out of the statue. "Is this a tomb? What are bones doing in here? Hey, what's that?" He nudges the metal out of the bones to see what it is.

Xylas picks up the key. "Maybe this is to the door over yonder. Did we check if it's locked?" the elfling asks. He looks down at the bones. "Maybe we should put these back in the statue and I can say a few words. I reckon it might be a good idea to have a little prayer circle anyway. Circle up if you want Old Deadeye's blessing!"
"Respect for the dead is wise, and the blessings of the deities often leads to more wisdom," Diana says as she shrugs and joins the others. "Perhaps we should make this quick, though. I am still very uncomfortable with the remains of the tower above us..."

Xylas nods and bows his head reverentially. "Heavenly Hunter, I ask forgiveness for trespassing on this grave here. I didn't know the soul stuck in the statue and I can't say that I cared for his grin, but who am I to judge. All I can say is, Let him reap what he sowed as it is written in the Parables."
Also, I'm asking for your blessing as I watch over this little caravan. Help me to tend the tired and sick and make sure our destination is safely reached. Also, if you can help it and it ain't too much a bother, please keep the tower up until we figure this mess out. Let my words fly to your ear as straight as your arrow, this I ask, Old Deadeye."
It is locked, but the key opens it. The door opens to reveal a pair of hallways, one to the left and one to the right. Along the hallways' walls are what look to be empty prison cells, their doors hanging ajar.
There are more empty cells to the left, although it ends in a dead end because of what looks like a cave-in.
Perception DC 15:
Slight openings in the wall indicate a secret door near the end.
To the right, the hallway goes down much longer, ending at a door. About midway down the corridor, the empty cells stop. A strange semicircular stone ridge runs along the ceiling for part of the corridor, starting and ending at a wall.
Perception DC 15:
Slight openings in the wall indicate a secret door, about midway down.
Xylas' elven heritage is evident as he quickly spots two secret doors. "Hey, look! Why there are doors hidden in the walls! Over there by the cave-in and over here on the right."

"There is still that door to the RIGHT," Xylas says with a wry look at Liethe. "or we can search that secret passage more closely. You would think a secret passage actually went somewhere kinda secret."
The secret door opens to reveal a room with a strange metallic contraption with gears and chains, and a massive lever, sticking out at a 45-degree angle. Hovering motionless above the machine is what appears to be a small thundercloud., periodically sending out spark into the air or along the chains.

Xylas looks for another exit out of the room and keeps his distance from the machine. "I'm thinking it's best to not meddle with magical contraptions."
The door opens into a large room. Obvious torture devices sit in the room, although they are all clearly ancient. A bronze plaque depicting a crowing rooster above crossed spears sits on a wall, a raven perching atop it. It begins to speak in a shrill voice.
"Greetings, travelers! So good to have visitors, though I'm afraid I have to refreshments to offer. I assume you are here for the treasure. I would be happy to lend my assistance, provided you give me what I require! Simply take a seat in one of my lovely chairs.". It gestures to a set of iron chairs with many sharp edges and protrusions.
Leithe, if you fail a DC 15 will save:
The raven's words seem to reverberate in your mind until a sharp pain makes you realize you are sitting in one of the chairs. 3 damage.
Leithe sits in one of the chairs and gets poked and prodded by sharp things. "Hey, ouch! Not nice."
She gets up as quick as she can, then says, "Okay, I sat in your chair... and bled all over it... was that what you wanted or needed? If so, now it's time for you to uphold your end of the agreement, to help us get the treasure you spoke of."
Very good! There's a secret door in that wall right there. It will take you to the treasure. It gestures with its wing to a section of wall, and then disappears. looking closely at the wall it does look to have a secret door, but one much better hidden than the ones you saw before.
