If Dingus can get in a shot through the newly created stinking cloud, He will send a vapor viper to deal with one of the pesky things.

"Let him be you....things"!

Too bad we're already in combat. This would have been a fun time to try the Hypnotism spell.

Below decks, the mouse ROARS as Dibbets unleashes a hurricane force belch. The three moppets are flung up and over and land scattered on crates and barrels about the hold. The pink and amber banded pot-bellied humanoids moan a little as the blood-shot eyes flitter shut beneath their shock of green hair and they fall unconscious. Dingus can only guess they are some sort of gremlin as he blasts one into paste. Would need Knowledge (nature).

Another level down, Dibbets only has a moment of satisfaction before a pair of dog-sized shadows lunge at him. lower hold is far enough from the hatch that only low light vision can see as dim light.

More blood leaking through his skin than seems possible, Dibbs can barely turn to meet the newest threat as teeth again bite into pickled flesh. His little heart tries as it might to pump past the damage and resist the poison that seeks to subjugate it... but cannot. Dibbs goes still his face a rictus of tired resignation.

Male Half Orc Rogue (Thug) 5

Bugger it...RL be damned...!!!

As Kaul gets swamped by the salts, he throws a retaliatory headbutt at the nearest mugger;

Glasgae Kiss: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Brawler's Badge o' Non Lethal Damage: 1d3 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Up on the main deck, Kaul smashes his heavy brow into a sailor's face leaving a flattened nose and stream of blood pouring down the man's face. Dingus and Jim's dismantling of the hatch and unlawful entry have finally attracted Captain Miro's attention.

The Pirate Captain yells in frustration, "Asmodeus take you, ya fools! I told you to stay topside! Boys, leave the damned orc and slip for now. Hold the hatch or we'll all be bloody cannibal creepers by dawn!"

With a look of horror, the crew breaks off from buffeting Kaul and runs back to gather around the hatch with weapons drawn.

Jim wastes a precious second waving his hand around to clear the air before ignoring the two remaining midgets and running downstairs a little unsteadily after Dibbets. Any sign of the halfling's glowing stick?

Wonderful...more fighting in the dark. If any targets besides the inebriated oracle present themselves, he'll attack ineffectually.

Dingus, then follows Jim deeper into the hold.

Jim does spot Dibbets' glow stick albeit on the far side of the hold. As Jim descends into the darkness, his foot hits a small malodorous mass that can only be his fallen mate already stiffening. There is a snarl in front of the sailor and he thrusts his trusty blade at the sound, but hits nothing.

Boys, let 'em through and seal that hatch best you can. I just hope the wind keeps up and we make Plume Town before they turn."
