Charon does a full attack on Xix.

Magical Rapier- 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 Damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Normal Rapier- 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 Damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

That's fine, this I guess this might come up often, please declare a secondary target in case your first gets pounded into much from now on.[ooc]

GM:
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

The creature that jumped down is caught by your spell and just wobbles around, dazed. [ooc]Don't take the attack from Creature Xv, it's actually still on the rooftop at F-10

No, he said that if they descend he'll then slash with his greatsword but as they didn't go until after everyone's turn he didn't have anything to slash at so he shot his bow. The rest was just for dramatic effect

@Roshan: My AC is 22 (+7 armor, +2 dex, +3 shield).

If Dolelan has a useful insight to share, he move to K5 and begin his bardic performance using naturalist. This will give everyone within 30' +1 to AC, saving throws, and attack rolls against the shadow-things.(Not sure whether the knowledge check was successful)

If not, he will lunge at the shadow nearest him (Xx) and take a step to stay close to Charon. He doesn't really know whether he can trust her to watch his back, but there is a distinct lack of options at the moment...

Regardless, he will continue to channel arcane energies into his sword for the duration of the combat.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 to hit, 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 damage

Female Human Two-Weapon Fighter- 2/Rogue- 3

H4 is fine, Also attack rolls are 24/15 with Dolelan's performance.

Guessing you're aiming at Xviii. FYI, You can't 5 ft step and move in the same turn, you can still 5 ft step to avoid the AOO/Concentration check.

Current Map

Dolelan, you step forward with your rapier in your fencing stance and give it a quick thrust, coating the tip of your blade in the black ichor. As you pierce the creature you hear a sizzling sound coming from where you touch it with your blade.

Attacks Vs Dolelan:
Creature Xx Bite 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Bite Damage 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Charon, you sidestep as it comes forward and it comes close, close enough for you to see that a row of ivory white teeth, stark against the writhing black mass. You step into it's guard for a moment with rapier in each hand and pierce it on both sides with your rapier before stepping back.

Attacks Vs Charon:
Creature Xix Bite 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Bite Damage 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Nera, you flash out with your scimitar but these things are quite wiley, and they manage to dodge out of the way.Perception Rolls (Dolelan, you already know) You yourself prove to be equally wiley as you dodge their sets of teeth as well.

Creature Xiv Bite 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Bite Damage 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Lugdro, you step back and unleash your silent vocal onslaught. You can almost see the pulse of sound as it slams into the creature, it cringes as the inky blackness vibrates. Think a glass of water on a speaker with good bass

No attacks on Lugdro

Legiald, You heave your sword and bring it down, it comes down with great force as it cleaves a couple of the flagstones in two but the creatures are unharmed. Unfortunately the creatures seize the oppertunity while your blade is down. They come in and you swat one away but miss the other as it's teeth find purchase on your back leg. You manage to pry it off but you feel weak. Legiald is staggered at 0 hit points.

---Round 3, Start---

Let me know if there are any problems with last round, we'll sort those out before moving forward.

Female Elf (Forelorn) Blade-Bound Magus 5

Actually I was just about to post as my RL game has finished up if you'll allow it otherwise I'm fine with whatever; Took me a short time to write this and I don't believe I'm tardy with a post, but that's your call. The following is for round 2;

Mechanics:

As a free action she'll use Black-Blade Strike to burn walters 1 AP for a +1 to damage for 1min (10/rnds).

As a swift action she'll enhance her blade to give it a +1 enhancement for 1 min (10/rnds) *It stacks ^_^;

Nera will use spell combat/spell-strike and provoke an AoO during full-attack. Casting arcane mark as a through her weapon to pick up a 2nd strike at -2 penalty. She picks up Dolelans naturalist performance otherwise attack rolls made another -1.

Concentration check (if she takes any damage from AoO);
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

Regular attack #1;1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
dmg;1d6 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Arcane Mark attack through BB #2;1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
dmg;1d6 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

If any Crits:
Crit Confirm 1:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Additional Crit Damage 1: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Crit Confirm 2: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Additional Crit Damage 2: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

She will then take a 5-foot step back to I5;

Actions taken: (Free, Swift, Full-Attack, 5-foot step)
List of mods:
To Hit(-2, Spell-Combat) + (+1, Naturalist) + (+1 , Arcane Pool)
Damage:(+1, BB-Strike) + (+1, Arcane Pool)
AC:(+1, Naturalist)

For reference: when the math benefits chancing the AoO I'll post up my concentration check if I take damage If I lose a spell then spell-strike/spell combat fails.

Nera smiles at Walter and says softly "lets dance my love". She glows with violet arcane power as her blade seems to respond glowing a light blue. She then begins an odd dance with her blade slashing at at the shadowy beast as she moves her hands to complete the spell gestures for her spell leaving her momentarily open for attack.

As the spell is completed suddenly her blade slashes up glowing bright with magic and those that are cut by it form a scar in a draconian sigil that reads both her own name and Walter's interposed over one another.

After her flurry she'll step back and stare down her target as if daring it to approach as she radiates magical energy Walter drawn over her head at an odd angle.

Female Elf (Forelorn) Blade-Bound Magus 5

Stratagy wise: Legi is getting stomped I can possibly delay my turn till after he moves next turn and hit them with glitterdust or web preferably the former.

There's a variety of things I can do, but 0 HP is in my opinion worse than dropping into negatives. Since your still standing and still a target you can easily get hit hard enough past your con score and die.

The best of the options I can pull out Battle Field control wise is if probably blinding two of them.

Elven Archivist 5

Still reeling from what he has remembered about these creatures, Dolelan is shouting advice to his companions about the shadow animals and moves to H5, protecting Charon's back and threatening Xv (potentially allowing Nera to flank it).

Crunch:
This provokes an AoO from Xx.
Standard action = Naturalist performance
Move action = F3 --> H5
Swift action= Arcane Strike

Current modifiers
+3BAB, +2STR, +1 Masterwork, +2 morale, -2 knowledge check, +1 insight= +6 to hit/+7 vs shadow monsters
+7 (armor), +3 (shield), +2 (dex), +1 (insight)= 22/23 vs shadow monsters

Heroism: +2 morale bonus to hit, skill checks, saves
Dumbfounded: -2 to hit (reeling from knowledge check)
Naturalist: +1 insight bonus to AC, hit, saves vs. the shadows
Arcane Strike: +1 enhancement bonus to damage

Attack roll for if an AoO is offered: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 to hit, 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 damage

Female Human Two-Weapon Fighter- 2/Rogue- 3

on phone for day, left ipad at home. If attack of oop comes up. Feel free to roll for me.
Charon slides 5 foot step down. Charon full attacks on Xix.
Add 2 to hit for hero and 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 91d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 81d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 151d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Sorry, you mentioned that you were going to be unable to post for a while. Could you mark your target? You didn't mention who you were attacking.

Still waiting on Lugdro.

Male Human Oracle of the Heavens 20/Horizon Walker 10

You provoke from Xix as well as you move through his threatened area to get at Charon's Back

Attacks of Opportunity:
Creature XxBite 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Bite Damage 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Creature XxBite 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Bite Damage 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

You get nicked by Xix's nasty teeth as you move through.

Sorry, you mentioned that you were going to be unable to post for a while. Could you mark your target? You didn't mention who you were attacking.

My post was for 2nd round so since the other monster advanced at the end of 2nd round since it was dazed the only target was Xiv. I was holding hesitating on posting my turn as I was planning on allowing the AoO to provoke against me if I was threatened by only one beast, but not 2. So I was waiting for confirmation on the Daze. Otherwise I'd have posted sooner.

So you're waiting on actions for 3rd round I still haven't posted mine up, but will do so once I know if the GMPC counted or my post for 2nd round counted and the results of the actions. If your using my post for 2nd round actions I'm still lacking a single AoO against Nera from Xiv.

Sorry for any confusion, but I tried to get my actions up as quickly as possible I'm just a little bit dependent on who's provoking when deciding whether to risk concentration check or AoO. Likewise for spells like Glitterdust/Daze as it depends on where my other party members are so I don't catch them in any cossfire or if they kill whatever I'm casting at.

I'll post up 3rd round actions promptly when I figure out what happened 2nd round (i.e. between 1-8 hours) and it'll likely be involving taking a shot with either glitterdust or web I just need to know where my allies end their turn and where the beasts are to make the decision.

Nera:
Yea, that's fine. I know it was the only target but it makes it way easier for me to know who the attack is against.

Retcon: Nera spins around, her scimitar dancing, catching light on the blade as it neatly slices the creature in half.

Male Human Sorcerer 4th (Accursed bloodline)

Lugdro takes one more step back and to the left (P4) then unleashes two more glowing magic missiles at the dazed creature (Xviii).

Magic Missile: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (3, 3) + 2 = 8

Male Human Oracle of the Heavens 20/Horizon Walker 10

Legiald will go total defensive, just waiting on Nera

Female Elf (Forelorn) Blade-Bound Magus 5

Ok that makes things simpler, I'm assuming Nera moved to I5 as per her actions in round 2 with a 5-foot step and creature Xv is at H6 and made it's attacks in round 2 as already given.

Round 3 actions:

Mechanics:

Nera will initiate spell combat for a -2 to attacks (offset by her +2 modifiers from enhancing he black blade in round 2 and Dolelans Naturalist) to make an attack against Xv and also cast a glitter dust.

(Full Attack)
Attack w/ Walter against Xv: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
If Crit Confirm(15 or higher):1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Add damage if Crit (15 or higher):1d6 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

(5-foot step between full-attack after the attack from I5 to J4)

(Free action to yell at Legi to move back and to towards Lug)

(Spell-casting [doesn't provoke due to 5-foot step])
Cast Web, (here's the spell template) the center being on vertex (M/N:8,9). To catch (Xviii, Xii, Xiii) in it's area. Provided Legi 5-foot steps as a free action to O5 or Xviii isn't dead, otherwise place it anywhere that catches the last two creatures.

Duration: 40min;

DC: 16 Reflex save or gain the grappled condition.

Creatures may attempt to break the grapple on a DC16 grapple check or escape artist check.

Nera switches her targets to the second shadow beast that approaches her before glancing at Legiald seeing him badly wounded she becomes worried and concerned. She dances with Walter continuing their memorizing dance of blades as she strikes out against the creature attacking her.

Shouting out Legiald she tells him, "Move towards Lugdro if you don't want to get sticky!" (as in 5-foot step to O5)

She then takes a step back while pulling out a handful of of spiders webs out her her SC-pouch and sprays through the tip of Walters blade a mass of arcane webbing that encompasses most of the south eastern street entangling the foes attacking Legiald completing the spell.

She suddenly shrieks as she finishes the spell, "Ahhhhhhh gross I hate that spells Walter!"

Female Elf (Forelorn) Blade-Bound Magus 5

He does get caught in the web grappled but at least he's away from them.

For Roshan:

Nera Turvian wrote:
I do believe you still must make a concentration check for casting in combat or take the AOO. You just don't take any additional penalties.

You can 5-foot step before, between, or during Full-round-Actions/Full-Attack.

Nera took a swing while she was threatened, 5-foot stepped to J4 where she wasn't threatend then cast completing her actions if she was still in a threatened (i.e. reach/multiple creatures) she would provoke AoO. Otherwise she should be just dandy. (See: Full-Round-Action , 5-foot-step)

5-foot-stepping to avoid AoO's is a staple of the Magi breakfast.

It's much in the same line as a character full-attacking with a dagger and whip. Dagger strikes in melee, 5-foot step, whip strikes at reach. AoO's avoided.

The -2 applies to all attack rolls and not concentration checks which is of course already figured into my attack rolls. The srd for concentration checks is (here)

Sorry if my class is all annoying and complicated... <_<

Don't hesitate to ask any questions on my class, though if something strikes you as odd or out of place it I'll happily explain or look it over.

If I'm still provoking an AoO or need to make a concentration check I'd humbly disagree as on the RAW of the matter, but it is your show and I'll understand it just changes my priorities in combat to concentrating on the creature threatening me and I'll amend my 3rd round actions for attacks against it over trying to keep Legi out of a bind with your permission as there is too significant a chance I'll lose the spell.

Male Human Oracle of the Heavens 20/Horizon Walker 10

Current Map

Perception Checks 15+:
You see the creature's skin burn as it's touched by Dolelan's blade while such a thing does not happen when Charon strikes. You also notice that they shy away when Nera swings her sword.

The creatures begin to close ranks as they drive you back with a flurry of strikes with their sharp fangs, you respond in kind however with steel and magic.

Dolelan, you move up and slide in, covering Charon's back as you see one starting to change it's attention from Nera to you to the left, Nimbly dodging as the creature you're facing down takes a snap at you.

Attacks vs Dolelan:
Creature Bite 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Bite Damage 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

Nera, in the middle of your downward curving slash you throw up your hand and after a loud *POP* a web of shimmering energy drops onto several of the creatures. Two are caught by the web but one manages to wiggle out and leap at Legiald. Looking back to the creature you see that where your blade broke it's skin (or what ammounts to skin) it's body sizzles and sputters.

GM:

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

No attacks on Nera

Charon, you step forward, using your first rapier as a guide you make an opening and come up under the creature, your rapier piercing it's throat and going out through the other side. You pull your blade out, now thoroughly coated in the black bile.

No attacks on Charon

Legiald, you retreat back a step as the magical web falls down upon you, struggling you one of the beasties wiggle free and jump towards you but get's caught in the webbing at the end of it's jump. It will eventually wiggle free but it takes a while.

GM:
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

Yeah combat can drag out sometimes.

If you take a look in mechanics at my post for actions in 2nd round.

Post from Round 2 in mechanics: "She will then take a 5-foot step back to I5;"

Post for round 3: "5-foot step between full-attack after the attack from I5 to J4"

Honestly it doesn't matter too much if it's a bother I was mostly moving in that direction to keep the two that came at me from getting flanking via 5-foot step and possibly set up any survivors for Charon to get flanking with a simple 5-foot step when/if she finishes killing her target.

Either J4 or J5 is cool with me, but you can find my movement in both posts if you wanted to check it.

No sorry, that's fine. Was just a bit confused with the two actions happening at once, had to think for a second on how everything was happening now. Now though everyone is good (as far as I know) and we can just go from here without having to dig backwards.

With that little change Creature 4 has to move 2 squares in order to avoid the webbing which provokes from Dolelan who drops it. (I don't to diagonal sidestepping around hard corners, if he diagonal stepped I would have counted it as moving through the webbing, just an FYI in case this situation comes up in the future).

---Round 4---

Female Elf (Forelorn) Blade-Bound Magus 5

Sorry to keep making your life difficult x.X

The web vertex should be at (M/N:8,9) indicated in in the post so it should shift to the right by one square each putting Legi out of it's radius.

Otherwise Nera just grappled her 0hp ally (negated by reflex save) and all the horribleness that comes with that.

The maps a little crazy, but I'm not too worried about it I just want to make sure I don't damn our nearly dead friend by grappling him. O.o

Female Elf (Forelorn) Blade-Bound Magus 5

For the record I'm totally cool with the map plus Nera at J4 and web being as is. :p

Female Human Two-Weapon Fighter- 2/Rogue- 3

Charon noticing the black goo on her blade.

End of Round 3 Map

Sorry, thought I had the vertices right the first time.

Female Human Two-Weapon Fighter- 2/Rogue- 3

I'll still move same spot and do same thing just take -2 from not flanking.

Elven Archivist 5

We can probably still flank. It's one of those things that's much more difficult to coordinate online than at a table, but Dolelan will take a 5' step to wherever will help Charon flank. If that works out, then add +2 to my attack.

Male Human Sorcerer 4th (Accursed bloodline)

Muttering about 'shadowstuff' and 'potency' to himself, Lugdro reaches into his Handy Haversack, pulls out a sunrod and strikes it, increasing the illumination near himself and Legiald.

Female Elf (Forelorn) Blade-Bound Magus 5

If Dolelan goes first he could provoke AoO and move to I7 to give Charon flanking at g5.

It already has 12 dmg against from my attack on it and charon just did 9 so it should be dead, so likely it doesn't matter or is worth the AoO. I'm pretty sure your rolls hit against their ac so dolelan should push it near 30dmg without need for flanking.

Oh and for future reference to everyone the Web spell is highly flamable so throwing a torch/anything with fire or making use of the spark cantrip suddenly does 2d4 damage to a creature in a square that's webbed.

It's particularly potent when combined with the spark cantrip :)

It's a standard action that requires no attack roll and does 2d4 damage to a creature in the square (with no save). Probably a fun idea to keep in mind as it basically turns spark into magic missile minus the base damage of the spell for the price of a cantrip.

I'm assuming Legi 5-foot steps back and fights defensively? As Nera is going to try to make her way to him and Xii to draw it's attacks and be close to Legi in case he needs her healing spell.

Round 4:

mechanics:

Nera focuses on Xviii she casts Shocking Grasp and will make the attack at the end of her movement (see:Touch spells in combat).

She moves to N4 moving along the building to avoid AoOs.

She then uses Spell-Strike to deliver her spell through a melee attack against Xviii through Walter.

Attack Roll: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
Damage (Weapon + Spell): 1d6 + 8 + 4d6 ⇒ (3) + 8 + (4, 4, 1, 6) = 26

If Crit confirm roll:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
If confirm additional crid damage: 1d6 + 8 + 4d6 ⇒ (5) + 8 + (6, 6, 2, 3) = 30

If the attack misses it's a touch spell so she'll be holding the charge keeping the spell.

Nera then turns to the creature that has almost made it's way to her through her web. She casts a spell and her hand left hand begins to spark with violet arcane electricity. She then runs towards Legiald moving in a whimsical dance spinning about like a deadly ballerina as the electricity arcs in her palm. She finishes her dance as she approaches the shadowy creature and the electricity arcs through Walter surging through the blade she swings it down upon the beast.

Staggering directly away from the adjacent creature, Legiald just barely holds his greatsword toward it just off the ground in one hand. "Just need... a moment..." he breathes heavily. His other hand slips out a scroll from his pouch slowly. (full defense, @O5)

We can probably still flank. It's one of those things that's much more difficult to coordinate online than at a table, but Dolelan will take a 5' step to wherever will help Charon flank. If that works out, then add +2 to my attack.

You're not exactly in the right position to offer flank, a 5 ft step in any direction wouldn't give you flank, though it might not matter.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
1d3 ⇒ 1

Dolelan, you manage to clip a good chunk of the darkness. A chunk of what was once a furry animal clings to the end of your rapier, dripping in the black ooze. Just as you pull back you see Charon coming in for the kill.

No attacks on Dolelan

Charon, as your blade pierces the creature and it emits a deep, gurgling growl as it falls to the ground, it's body begins draining of the inky blackness as it forms pools on the cobblestones.

Attacks Vs Charon:
Creature Xx Bite 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Bite Damage 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Lugdro, you crack the sunrod and it starts glowing. You step back and see the creature that had untangled itself from the web a few seconds before come and lunge at you with it's wicked white teeth reflecting the light from the sunrod in your hands, it seems to waver for a second but it still lunges at you on the side that's not holding the sunrod.

Attacks Vs Lugdro:
Creature Xii Bite 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Bite Damage 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Legiald, you see the creature pull itself from entanglement to chase after the spell slinger to your right. You also see another of the shadow beast struggling in the webs, unable to free itself.

No attacks on Legiald

Nera, your scimitar flashes as it bites deeply. Charged with primal energy it moves through the creature like a knife through warm butter. As the energy gives it's final jolt the creatures body sort of explodes, you feel bits and pieces of it getting on you as well as bits of the oily black sludge which covered it.

No attacks on Nera

The scrape of blade on flagstone sounds as Legiald continues to stagger away from the creature. Flicking the scroll open in his hand, he holds it higher before him. "Alright... now..." Scanning the parchment, he repeats the words aloud.

Move to O3; Cast Cure Light Wounds on self (1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3)

The scroll's divine writings vanish as the spell's green-blue light builds in the same hand holding the scroll. Letting the blank sheet drift away, he then presses his hand to his chest, and the dim light fades into his body. With both hands back on the greatsword, the blade lifts off the ground once again.

Male Human Sorcerer 4th (Accursed bloodline)

Lugdro falls to his knees, his sunken eyes rolling up into his skull. As he hits the ground, the sunrod rolls out of his limp hand.

That bite dropped me to -1. Con check to Stabilize:1d20 ⇒ 13
Stable. For now.

5-Foot Step to M4

Nera pauses for a moment in her deadly dance as if concentrating. She then lashes out with a flurry of cuts against (Xii) as she casts arcane mark. Her attacks leaving rune shaped scars in the beasts flesh.

She then steps to the side and focuses her attention on the beast still hampered by her web (Xiii).

Elven Archivist 5

Dolelan advances with Charon to finish off the remaining shadow creature in their area. A flicker of movement from the across the way catches his eye as he makes his lunge and causes him to misstep. Something about the creature lurking on the roof makes him uneasy, and he glances at it to get a better idea of what it is doing up there...

Legiald, you retreat backwards in a defensive stance starting to pull the scroll from your waist. The shadow takes seizes it's chance while your partially distracted but you bring up your sword and deflect the blow.

Attacks Vs Legiald:
Creature Xii (AOO)Bite 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Bite Damage 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Charon, dancing forward you dart in and out with your blades but fail to make contact.

Charon:
As you look up towards the creature that has sat idly by while you've dispatched it's kin you notice that it looks a little different. While most of these creatures have been about the size of pit bulls, this creature is about the size of an English Mastiff, huge in size with writhing black tentacles stretching over the corner of the building.

Attacks Vs Charon:
Creature Xx Bite 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Bite Damage 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Nera, you whip your Scimitar around, the air whistling as the blade begins it's dance. You gain momentum and with a pair of slashes cut both high and low, chunks of black sludge cling to your blade for a moment but as your ioun stone finishes it's orbit you see it start to slink off, like a nonstick pan. Looking over you see that the creature is still struggling but unable to untangle itself.

no attacks vs Nera

Lugdro, you're unconscious.

no attacks vs Lugdro

Dolelan, you step forward to gain advantage but find yourself unable to find an opening. You attempt a feint to get into it's guard but it simply dodges out of the way.

no attacks vs Dolelan

Female Elf (Forelorn) Blade-Bound Magus 5

OOC question @Roshan:
You said you don't allow 5-foot step around sharp corners? I'd love to get off full-attack against Xiii, but RAW I can't 5-foot-step into difficult terrain (M5) and I'm pretty sure you established I can't move around sharp corners (L5). So I'm limited to movement and casting or movement and single attack, correct?

Just want to confirm my options before I post up Round 6 actions.

Female Human Two-Weapon Fighter- 2/Rogue- 3

Charon moves to E5 with a quick step. She lunges at Xx.

Magical rapier: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 151d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Yes, that is correct. Basically what happens when you move diagonally is you're moving through both squares on either side of the diagonal. If either side is blocked for any reason you can't 5 ft step in that direction.

Nera:
Just going to throw it out there, you could spell combat (spark), burning up the web and opening the ground for you to move, though as I type this I see that you don't have it prepared.

Alternatively you could dismiss it, Notice the (D) next to the duration of the spell?

Web wrote:
Duration 10 min./level (D)

That means you can drop it but it's a standard action. It's up to you, do you want to jump into the web and risk getting entangled or wait for it to get out?

Dolelan:
Idk if you're still adding it, it doesn't seem to be in your crunch but in case you are the blinding flood of information has subsided and you've regained full control of your faculties.

Elven Archivist 5

Dolelan waits for Charon to open a gap in the creature's defense then strikes with a few cautious flicks of his rapier. If Charon's attack kills the creature then Dolelan will instead drop his sword, retrieve his bow, and fire at the creature on the roof.

Crunch:
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28 to hit (26 with bow)
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 damage with sword, 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 damage with bow

I am delaying my initiative to react to Charon's attack.

Standard action = Attack on Xx / Attack on Xvi
Move = none / draw bow
Free action = maintain naturalist performance (4th round)
Free action = none / drop sword
Swift action= Arcane Strike on bow/sword

Current modifiers
+3BAB, +2STR, +1 Masterwork, +2 morale, +1 insight, +2 flanking (Xx)= +11 to hit
+7 (armor), +3 (shield), +2 (dex), +1 (insight)= 23

Heroism: +2 morale bonus to hit, skill checks, saves
Naturalist: +1 insight bonus to AC, hit, saves vs. the shadows
Arcane Strike: +1 enhancement bonus to damage
Flanking: +2 to hit vs Xx

Neither, I can still move to (J5) it just costs a move action and deliver a touch spell as part of a melee attack using spell strike.

I'll likely take the more conservative approach though, as Nera went nova enough for this encounter. I'd like to have at least half my spells available on the off chance we need them. Casting Daze from J4 and setting up a 5-foot-step for an arcane mark flurry next round is probably the wiser choice.

Mechanics:

Nera moves to L4
She casts Daze on creature Xiii. (DC 14 will save negates)

Nera noticing Lugdro has fallen shouts to Legiald to make sure he's alright as she's lining herself into a better position to attack and casts a dazzling spell meant to daze the creature giving her time to gain proper positioning.
