I think its a sickness, LOL

I'm the same way but just as a player. Once i got to over 20 i realized I had to pare it down haha

I cut down my playing to 10 or so.

I need to look for more games myself. Only get two... and I really miss character creation.

Sorry everyone. Work is kicking my ass. I'll try to get posts up today.

No worries totally understand! :-)

Male Human Werewolf Shifter 2 | HP 17/17| AC: 13 T: 10 Fl: 13 | CMB: +4 CMD: 14 | F +5 R +3 W +4 | Init +0 | Perc: +11

It's from declining post quality that I know I've overloaded myself on games. XD

Same for me, I might be in too many games. Most of which are storytellers, I wonder why that is? :)

Male Weremonkey Rogue/Ranger/Trickster

I'm in 9 games, 3 of which are Shadows :)

Male Moutain Dwarf, Natural Bear Lycanthrope Spell-less ranger (Dual-style) 2 | HP: 23/23 | AC: 17 T: 12 FF: 15 | Fort: +5, Ref: +5, Will: +3 | CMB: +5, CMD: 17 | Init: +4, Senses: Darkvision 60ft, Lowlight vision, Stonecunning, Perception: +7 , Survival +9 .

6 games thus far and 4 of them are Storytellers.

So... can we safely assume that Griswold succeeded in hewing the bastard in half?

Rhun Jin Rong wrote:

No worries I have had the same kind of week.

Post when you can, it is also level up time!

Male Human Natural Werehawk Incanter 2

Leveling up will take time so I'll do it after work but you can bet perception and sense motive will get a skill point. So using the level 2 mods, reduce it by one for each if you prefer otherwise. :)

Male Human Werebat Harbinger 1/Stalker 1

Taking a level in Stalker, which gets me a fair amount of skill points, new maneuvers, a few tricks, and Perception as a class skill, whoot! Lol

I still don't fully understand how any class can not have perception as a class skill.

I can see classes like Wiz/Cleric not getting it, as they can lead a more sheltered, closeted life.

But any class with a martial bent, or one that involves being outside, or among people should definitely have it.

However, flip side, the argument can be made that as an adventuring PC class, all of them should have it.

Level two nets me two combat feats because of my archetype and sneak attack.

Now that the mysterious cargo is brought up again. I do remember this inauspicious post.

Hmmm. Everyone is talking about all of the awesome stuff they are getting with the level up, and all I'm getting is a Blade Skill.

Admittedly, said Blade Skill is Focused Offence and I can now swap out my 8 Str for my 18 Wisdom when it comes to attack and damage.

Fury you think your level up is lame, all i get is weapon focus for a weapon im never gonna use.

I think my treant might actually get more out of his level up then me.

Now I have to remember what our rule for HP was... but it'll probably be tomorrow before I get to leveling up.

Roll or half plus 1 I think.

Male Human Werewolf Shifter 2 | HP 17/17| AC: 13 T: 10 Fl: 13 | CMB: +4 CMD: 14 | F +5 R +3 W +4 | Init +0 | Perc: +11

There, I actually did have time today to level up. The big things Gerwyn gained are Greater Transformation (so he can apply two traits to his shapeshifts) and Evasion.

Male Human Natural Werehawk Incanter 2

Concerning the cargo, Igdus got a bit of information and has developed a theory. I would very much like for him to be wrong, completely wrong, not even close and going the other direction wrong. The DM is so evil. xP

My level up does not grant me much but I can make it work. A limited bonus feat and just a spellcasters progression.

Also DM if you don't mind can you give us a language list for Greyhawk or point to a reference. Picking up a language and want to see what the setting has. :)

Male Human Natural Werehawk Incanter 2

Level up complete. Pretty sure nothing changes but do our hybrid forms get a upgrade? Don't remember all the details about the changes honestly. >.<

My portfolio has the Lycan Template being used for this game. Levels 6, 10, and 11 there are slight upgrades for the Lycan Template.

HP increase is ROLL OR 1/2+1.

Players may flip back and forth level by level for how they wish to do it. However, once you roll, can't go back to the 1/2+1 for that particular level.

Igdus, I don't generally get into Regional Dialects as it just complicates things unless that is a specific point in the campaign.

Based on the type of beings that dwell here you could choose:

Sylvan, Orc, Gnome, Goblin, or Dwarf.

Well I will give lady lucky my bidding and try rolling for health for this level.

HP Roll: 1d10 ⇒ 9

This is good.

I maybe use my bonus skills to pick up some languages, Gnomish would make sense for Griswold.

I haven't the slightest idea of what you mean, look how nice I've been so far...

So when are we going to backstab the merchant, steal their cargo and turn Kate into our cursed lycan mascot?

Or am I just reading into things? :)

And you're one of the good guys! I'd hate to see what Vaki would do!

Male Human Werebat Harbinger 1/Stalker 1

Hey Lycan, would it be OK if I switch the Seeker trait for a different one? When I took it, I wasn't planning on taking any levels in Stalker, which gets perception as a class skill.

If it's alright, should I stick to a social trait, which Seeker is, or can I pick from any category?

Male Moutain Dwarf, Natural Bear Lycanthrope Spell-less ranger (Dual-style) 2 | HP: 23/23 | AC: 17 T: 12 FF: 15 | Fort: +5, Ref: +5, Will: +3 | CMB: +5, CMD: 17 | Init: +4, Senses: Darkvision 60ft, Lowlight vision, Stonecunning, Perception: +7 , Survival +9 .

Well Valar is the good one here, I'm neutral (with good "tendencies").
When you're raised by an eccentric Gnomish druid of Obad-Hai, things become gray, law of natures, etc. Rangers helped make Griswold a "better" person.

Male Human Werebat Harbinger 1/Stalker 1

<looks around> Who me? Why am I being blamed?

I mean originally I was hoping Griswold could of been a wereboar. But the flavour is just right for the bears. I mean he was only taught of them and met only one or so bears from the rangers.

Btw, what are the odds we're going to run into giants in this game, Hopefully not at this level. Maybe an Ogre?

Hmmm, I'll have to let you know.

Giants MAYBE later.

Ogres, absolutely.

Male Human Natural Werehawk Incanter 2

Guess I'll go with goblin.

DM Lycan wrote:

Yeah sure, then something pops out and we all know how that goes. ;)

Male Human Werebat Harbinger 1/Stalker 1

Lycan, figured I would stick with a social trait, and found this one which fits the way I have been playing Vaki, and his persona, pretty well:

Bruising Intellect: Your sharp intellect and rapier-like wit bruise egos. Intimidate is always a class skill for you, and you may use your Intelligence modifier when making Intimidate checks instead of your Charisma modifier.

Also, for HP, I'll take average, for a total of +6 hit points.

I'm taking the average HP as well. +6 HP is too solid to risk losing.

Have to admit, whilst the Blade Skill isn't exactly the most eye-catching upgrade for my character. Turning a +0, -1 attack/damage stat-line into +6, +4 attack/damage stat-line is a significant boost.

Male Human Werebat Harbinger 1/Stalker 1

Hopefully Lycan allows my trait change, if so, I will interrogate our prisoner.

Approved.

I'll be getting us rolling again tomorrow. Recruitments are slowing me down, both my own and a game I just got into...

Can I effectively keep watch while teaching Groot how to smash things or that be too much effort to allow me to watch for enemies?

Too much effort plus the caravan is always relentlessly moving forward. That can only take place at stopping points, so an hour or so at lunch and the evenings. If you stay up again tonight you'll start to have to make saves to fight off fatigue.

Alright that's what i thought but i wanted to be sure. Ive played a dozen rangers but never actually had to teach an animal companion a trick before.

Nor have I had a Ranger PC train a companion in game before, first time for us both! :-)

Yes, Marya does NOT know you are a Lycan, she only chose the dwarf for the night because he's got Darkvision. Soon enough in the story you'll switch to night...

cool beans. Im aware she doesn't know I wolfout (so to speak)

M Human Shifter 1

i always avoid animal companions since a game long ago where the ranger decided to bring a companion along for our level 18 game. we were fighting some creature that, when hit, does the same damage it is hit for out in an area of 30ft or something.

ranger wasnt the smartest player of all time, but seeing the animal die from taking more than 2x its HP in damage in one hit... yeah.
