I must say I was taken aback when I saw the number of posts over the last 3 days. I think we can continue as planned at this point. There are some personality conflicts, but they seem to be between characters and not players so I'm not too concerned. I am having fun. So you are all aware, I am mostly doing this on the fly, but planning some ahead as needed. I want you to determine how this story moves. I apologize for my rules errors, but am taking them in stride as you seem to be, so let's keep this going as long as we can.

Oh don't worry about a couple of rules problems, it happens all the time in paper and pen games too. It has been said that a student does not know a subject till he teaches it, I think that applies to DMing as well.

Shaundakul DM, have a couple of questions before game posting. What, if any, was the response to Kianna's questioning? Also you said prisoners, I am playing as all of the bandits are dead except the leader. I rolled perception and failed so I thought I stabilized the dead and failed on the living, so unless the bandits made it on their own, bye bye bandits. Please let me know.

Questions: Is everyone but Zax mounted on a Large horse taking up two squares each? Is the Ogre Large also occupying two squares? Are the horses combat trained or ride only?

At the moment I am still mounted, Tiny but mounted.

Bandavaar, you may need to make a stealth check to get there "quietly". As you are doing a double action to move a total of 30 ft, I assume you are moving at 15 feet each time? You can't move your normal speed while using stealth, but you can move half speed with no penalty. If you move greater than half speed, but not full speed you get a -5 on the check. So you would be at either a -5 for both, or a -10 because you moved twice.

Okay.....I didn't think I was in proximity of it where I've been moving to and it's not a very intelligent creature, so would it really be focusing on something 45 feet away from itself? That's a bit of a distance. It's like me standing in my driveway, looking at my garage, then hearing somebody walk the other side of the road. My attention wouldn't be on them and I wouldn't notice them. Same applies here to my knowledge.

I was going to move half speed when it passes to get behind it. My half speed is 10 feet as I'm wearing medium armour (Chainmail), slowing my normal pace to 20 feet. So a double movement of stealth next round would allow me to move 20 feet. Hopefully I won't be noticed.

Shaundakul, I was wondering if I could change one of my racial traits, as it would fit in better with Kerri. I was not sure about getting it before but seeing as how I am playing her, it would make more sense to have it than not. Would this be acceptable?

Sorry still going. I was crazy busy the last week with my second job. I'm posting from my phone, so I won't be able to get through all of the posts in the game thread right now. I will post something tonight, but it will be late as I have an ongoing thing after work on Wednesdays, and then we should be able to get back into the swing of things more regularly.

Ambulance races to the hospital, lights flashing and sirens screaming. A gurney pops out, patient strapped on it. People in white coats run around getting ready as the doors crash open. After getting into the emergence wardroom the monitors paint a grim picture. The warning beeps start and the patient flatlines. "Code Blue, Code Blue, Crash cart stat!" Yells the overburdened young intern. Paddles come out and are applied to the chest again and again. The sudden silence is deafening as everyone gathers to see if patient 'Brevoy Buccaneers' lives ...

Heartbeat check: everyone please post if you are still watching and playing this campaign. DM you are now 5 full days over your stated next post time, can you at least say when for sure or is it over? Everyone please post in discussion at least once as to when you will stop monitoring these threads? I will stop daily checking one week after last post made, and drop weekly checks one month later than that.

I am still checking on this campaign. I was enjoying it and hoping it will carry on going. As for the checking, I check it about twice a day and probably will for another 2 weeks before starting to check it once a week, then after a month I will also only check in once a month.

That was fast Kerri. Don't worry I like this campaign too but I've learned, lurking about, that these types of delays often mean the end is nigh. (Melo-dramtic much?)

What can I say, I saw a new post and got my hopes up. I am just glad someone else is also checking this often as well. This is the same thing that happened in the first PbP I played, it was a "Crypt of the Everflame" and the GM just stopped playing all together, took him nearly a week to say it was cancelled. Lets just hope that this can continue.

Haha, well I've been checking religiously as I'm waiting to see if I can get another un-noticed attack against the Ogre. One that actually hits this time. ;)

Sorry guys. Real life has been crazy the last couple of weeks. Strangely I did post something in gqme on Friday, but its not there. I'm not sure what happened. When I get home tonight I'll post again in game. I'll try to post at least once a day, but won't guarantee it especially on the weekends.

I can't believe my post isn't there. It had a map link and eveything.

I have just spoken with Kiana's player and he has almost given up on this campaign. He is willing to play IF it does pick up again though.

Okay, just wondering who is still happy to play this campaign. Could people just post in this discussion thread if they are happy to continue. I know that ShaundaKul is back, but this is a slow posting game, compared to before. So just want to see if the group is going to shrink due to people not wanting to play.

Zaxarii is also up for playing, as he also checked in frequently during ShaundaKul's absence.

Sorry if I am sounding annoyed or bossy, I just think it would help ShaundaKul if he knew who was still up for playing.

I don't think Harbador and Gustav will be returning. It's just a feeling I have, but from the looks of things it'll be Alistair, Kerri, Kiana, Zaxarii and myself, which is still a good sized group to play in.

Zax heals and does things which can empower himself, Alistair fights and if he survives (he should), he and Bandavaar have a little relationship forming whilst Kiana, Zax and Kerri get on with each other fine.

So, the way I see it is although our archer has gone (Harbador), Alistair and Bandavaar might form a cool partnership and prefer to double team and flank everything whilst the other three work together.

It could be fun. The only problem I see is that the roleplay has slowed right down.

I am still around as well. Holiday weekend for me. I had family in town, so was busy all weekend. Hopefully Zax will be back, but I agree that Gustav and Harbador are most likely gone for good, but it's still a good size party without them.

I very sorry for not posting in a week, between computer issues and RL time got away from me, should come back to regular posting now.
I still like the campaign and want to continue.
