Regarding Infernal Bargain do I have to have the material components of the spell, or is the performance in itself sufficient? And do I actually 'need' to pay, since the bargain uses an opposed charisma check to convince the outsider to do my bidding (like Planar Binding, the wizard spell) or could I just use the payment as additional leverage if I conjure something more impressive? (for example, I could see offering goods and such if one were to try and summon a Glabrezu - but not if I am summoning an Imp, who I could intimidate or bluff into doing my bidding)

you don't need the material components for the spell but you do need to pay for the services of the summoned creature from what i can tell

Basic idea, *(as yet unnamed) wishes to perfect himself, and that is all thank you, unless you have a interesting brain to sell. For an illithid this is a perfectly worthy pursuit, and * seems different only in caring more a bit more about brains and less about trinkets than is usual. But * has a deep and terrible secret: he wants the sun back! In his youth, he had the the good fortune of finding a nymph for sale, and promptly bought her. What wonders would this rare creature's brain contain? Always a inquisitive and impressionable soul, * partook with abandon and felt... a longing for the sun, and for green growing things, and... what IS this madness?! And so began *'s decent into something that is not quite madness, but not quite sanity either. You see, once that door was opened, it couldn't be readily shut, and bits of the creatures *'s consumed have become a part of him, leaving him a rather confused individual.
Does he really want to beat his chest and participate in a wild orgy? No, no, that must be yesterday's orc snack. Why do I know the birthday of a human female child? Oh yes, I ate her mother a while ago, best not eat the child then, last time it led to a ferocious headache. (A bit like Echo from Dollhouse, if you've seen it. I'm fascinated by the idea of what would happen if you really could take pieces of another creature's mind and make them a part of you. Could you really gain a creature's perform skill without feel that creature's love of music? The bardic knowledge also provides a good explanation/rationale for a character acting odd. Who knows what little bits are bubbling to the surface?)

well you can fight that thing, its just really hard, or you can out run it, it only has movement 15ft
