Stonecunning or knowledge engineering DC 15

I need to have stonecunning? Or is there a check I need to make?

Just saying if you have stonecunning you can make the check without having knowledge engineering.....

The rock slides away settling into the wall at the end of the hallway, as you pushed it back...

This corridor stretches for neary 100 feet, ending at a blank wall. In the east and west walls are several six-foot-tall, two-foot-wide iron doors kept locked by iron bars. The iron doors are typical except for the six-inch-wide, three-inch-high berred windows set into the at dwarven eye level. Each 10 foot square cell contains a stone slab fixed in the far wall, an iron chamber pot, a clay jug, and occasionall a gnawed bone, crust of bread, rotten fruit, or moldy cheese.

This cell block seems completely deserted!

You have no trouble getting back to the main auction chamber, the corpse of the droll has cooled to room temperature, the other doors are still barred and you soon bar the other door and look at the numbers of survivors.

Sanstree peeks out the doors, and can not see in the unlit area beyond he casts a light spell and catches sight of hobgoblins building obstacles in the hallway....

Sanstree casts a light spell outside of both doors...

Out the front door

The X respresents rough hewn timbers formed into a crude fence meant to slow you down.

Out the side door

Several tables have been turned over and stacked into a firm pile, also the same timber fence is there as well.

The red areas are the pits.

You spot no hobgoblins!

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

Yes it is the same day....

I would think that Broccan could put on the armor and someone could assists him and make a survival skill check (either Broccan or the person assisting him)

You could rest and regain spells.....it seems the hobgoblins have went with the tactic of waiting...
