A campaign of fallen angels, friendly devils, deceit, betrayal, secrets, and the everburning quest to discover the plane-fueling spark of the mortal soul.
"Every mortal sin, from white lies to mass murder, creates a ripple heard throughout the multiverse, and answered by the Abyss. The weight of these sins yearns to be punished, and the justiciar and jailer to merit out castigation is Hell." ~a passage ensorcelled on the hide of a concordant killer from Black Scrolls of Tulket nor Ahm
"In the name of the hosts and the seven mounting steps of Heaven, from which springs the good and the right. In the name of the Orders, Powers, Thrones, and Choirs, who witness all above and below. In the name of the Lords of the Empyrean, who measure all knowledge and see through lies. And in the name of the first great Lord, he who was taken and whose people know sorrow for him still, I swear that what follows are the visions of my travels, the thoughts of souls and the soulless, the nature of creation, and the truth unto all things." ~Tabris, from the introduction to the Book of the Damned
"... and all this writhes below you, and around you, and your horror makes you part of it. Your putrid flesh corrupted, your ragged soul rent, and your disires bathed in evil and black blood. No, demonspawn, you are not forgotten. The terror of existence beyond death is your. Now writhe, and rise forth!" ~from the Demonomicon of Iggwilv

Bloody Kisses is a mature game set in the worlds of Greyhawk. The game is considered mature because the content of the game primarily revolves around the demonic, hellish, and angelic conflict of the eternal struggle between good and evil known as The Blood War.
It is recommended that if you wish to play this game, you are at least passively familiar with the Blood War. You need not know the name of every Demon Lord or Archdevil, but if you walk into this game blind, expect to be confused and admittedly left behind.
The everlasting battles of the Blood War have raged for eons, and do not show any signs of stopping. Mortal souls are the pawns utilized, abused, corrupted, redeemed, and most of all coveted by the backing powers of the War- good, evil, and all in between. This is where the players will come in. Mortal or semi-mortal adventurers cast into a planeswide strife beyond the scope of human(oid) mental capability..
What I am looking for in this game, is a unique approach to a decades old topic in the world of Dungeons & Dragons that has been for the majority played behind the scenes. Previous adventure paths like Savage Tide have addressed the Blood War, but as heroic protagonists. This game aims to make no such stipulations. The members of this game, will be chosen champions of Archdevils, Apocalyptic Horsemen, cryptic hag goddesses, and other nether powers that be.
An evil alignment is not required to join this game, but characters on the side of good will find themselves pitted against every obstacle, and possibly other members of the adventuring party. This is not to say that I expect every Chaotic Evil-aligned player to use their alignment as an excuse to attack every other player or cause havoc to the game. The heroes, antiheroes, and members of the party will have to find reasons to stick together, like insects caught in the web of a spider.
This may seem like a lot to ask of my players, but I am hoping that by holding them to a higher expectation, a unique darker game can be enjoyed by all parties involved.
To generate a character for this game, you must first roll 1d4+3 to determine your level. Mixed levels will add variety and open up new opportunities for races/classes. Unless otherwise noted, all races/classes/abilities follow the current rules of the Pathfinder system.
Any official class in any 3.5 Dungeons & Dragons product or Pathfinder product is viable for play. Only third party supplement classes will need to be reviewed (or discussed) before being accepted as playable.
All alignments are accepted, though Lawful Good is highly discouraged, as characters will often find themselves at odds with other players. It should be noted, however, that PvP is going to be allowed but not necessarily encouraged. If you are adamant about playing an aasimar, you would have heavy conflict working alongside devils and demons.
All base races are allowed, though more flavorful characters are certainly appreciated. Listed below will be the races immediately allowed for play. Following Pathfinder rules, CR = level if you choose to play a monstrous creature. For example, if you roll 1d4+3 and get a 5, you are able to play up to a CR 5 creature.
It would be to your advantage to devise a reason for your character to be included or interested in the affairs of the Blood War. If you wish to choose a patron or discuss your character's history, you may e-mail me at:

If for whatever reason, the creature you want to play isn't represented here (for example, any monsters in 3.5 Monster Manual I-V etc), a special case can be made if you contact me with substantial reason to include your desired race.
Think of the adventurers more as mercenaries, each character may have a different backer with different endgames in mind. We may have, for example, a cleric of Asmodeus working alongside a sorcerer claiming to be of Dagon's blood. It isn't too likely that the party will be receiving missions from the celestial paragons, but it isn't out of the question either.
I'm interested but I am not sure if we are supposed to pose questions in this thread, the discussion thread, or via e-mail. Is it any or all or just one?
With that, I'm thinking oracle (possessed archetype, perhaps a growing seed of the patron), haunted curse (spiritual spillover invested by the patron or maybe tongues instead), mystery depending upon the patron chosen (bones, life, spellscar, battle, ancestor)
I am aiming for a party of about six, but am willing to flex that number depending upon what people come up with.
With the holidays, I'm not rushing the submission, but would like to have my players picked by the beginning of the year if possible.
I will be using Pathfinder rules, but material from 3.5 is permitted, in cases where Pathfinder has released a class or prestige similar to something represented in 3.5, I will be using Pathfinder's version.
Stat generation will be 4d6 drop the lowest, roll 7 times and drop the lowest again.
Starting money is going to be based off the NPC Gear chart in the Core Rulebook. Table 14-9. Use the Heroic Level table and use the wealth listed for one level higher than yours. Magic items are limited to items 2,000 gp or below, with the exception of the Bag of Holding Type I
For hit points, 1st level is maxed, all subsequent levels are rolled, but if you roll less than half, consider it half (round up).
I saw this at work and only just now had a chance to post.
To the DM:
But I'm a bit confused; we can play any alignment but we'll be working for the "nether" groups. So which side do you expect the PCs to be on? Because I'm not really certain how a group of evil, neutral and good people would work with demons and devils all the time instead of against them.
Bloody Kisses - I have a concept that needs DM review and approval, so I've put the bare bones in a spoiler below so you can cast an eye over it and give me a yes or no.
Details:
My concept is a newly ascended daemon, who is a Venedaemon from the recent 'Horsemen of the Apocalypse' sourcebook that Paizo put out.
Bullet Point Details:
My character was recently a cacodaemon, in service as a familiar to a mortal mage who was attempting to curry favor with a devil lord by serving in his army.
His master died when attempting a powerful ritual. Eager to claim the soul, the cacodaemon swiftly moved forward to trap his master's soul within a soul gem.
However Instead of the soul gem returning to Abaddon and being consumed by a more powerful daemon, sometimes the deceased mage’s power triggers a reaction within the cacodaemon, fusing with it and transforming the familiar over several weeks or months into a new creature, typically a venedaemon with no memories of its mortal or previous daemonic existence. (excerpt from Horsemen book)
The devil lord ruled that the new daemon was still bound by the infernal contract that the mortal mage had signed, so pressed my character into service.
Mechanically the Venedaemon is a CR 5 daemon that has the spellcasting ability of a Level 6 Sorcerer - and can take further Sorcerer levels to boost this. Full details are here
If you don't have any macro issues with the concept, I'll work it up into a full blown submission.
Questions:
Standard conversion rules for 3.5 classes?
Are you allowing Tome of Battle, UA, Tome of Magic (Binder w/ online vestiges)?
Any rules on traits or flaws? (the latter from UA)

I have no immediate issue with the venedaemon, but its entry in the Horsemen of the Apocalypse states that it casts spells like a sorcerer with a caster level equal to its Hit Dice, so you could have 2 levels of sorcerer if you chose to pursue that class further, or 2 levels of any other class with your roll of 7.
By all means, please expand the concept. I look forward to seeing the final submission.

Standard conversion unless otherwise noted (currently nothing comes to mind).
Many of the Bloodline rules from Unearthed Arcana are moot with Pathfinder's sorcerer bloodlines, and I would like to discourage any classes from Tome of Battle as the stances can easily break a game if all characters aren't classes from the book.
Binder is acceptable with all of the listed vestiges from the Tome of Magic, if there are other vestiges from other sources you would want to bind, I'd need to review them prior to permission.
You may have up to two traits if you wish, but many monstrous characters do not qualify for racial traits. Flaws would need to be looked over, if you choose to have them you may only begin with 1 flaw.
It looks like plenty of other folks are interested in the succubus role... how do you feel about an Aranea? I think there might have been an issue with the pathfinder conversion; the PRD mentions a web ability in hybrid form and lists it under special attacks, but doesn't give stats for it. The 3.5 version has the web attack... should I use that?
@Desriden:
The whole reason hell "works" in D&D is POWER. Mortals always think the can get something for nothing... working with hell but not for hell. And the demons and devils would certainly foster this perception, giving power and advice while subtly nudging diabolism toward damnation and using mortals for their own end. "Good" missions can still result in gains for devils. I've always thought the 'big question' of D&D cosmology is: what are mortal souls? Where do they come from and why do they exist? Apparently the hells existed before mortals, souls were just the spark that ignited the blood war from the cold war that existed before.
tl;dr: there are plenty of reasons why people who aren't dedicated agents of evil might work for demons or devils (or other unsavory outsiders) to make things happen.

I do like the Aranea, and I believe 3.5's web stats should suffice.
