A campaign of fallen angels, friendly devils, deceit, betrayal, secrets, and the everburning quest to discover the plane-fueling spark of the mortal soul.
Eschew Materials
Weapon Focus (Quarterstaff)
Dimensional Agility: after casting dimension door, can take any actions you still have remaining on your turn. +4 bonus on Concentration checks when casting teleportation spells.
Spell Penetration: +2 on rolls to penetrate a creature's spell resistance
Improved Familiar: allows for Cacodaemon to be taken as familiar.
Quarterstaff Master: can wield a quarterstaff as a one-handed weapon. Choose at start of turn.
Bloody - I'll flavour the souls and keep track of them. They won't be anything special at this point.... though hopefully Zub will get to snack on some tasty souls soon :)
Feats look good. There's probably going to be a lot of excess Knowledge (planes) checks just based off the nature of the party and the volumes of information about types of outsiders. DCs are lowered a bit for outsiders to recognize other types of outsiders, my apologies to the mortal in the party.
As a Lawful Neutral mortal, I'm looking forward to seeing the expression on the face of the first paladin who tries to smite me. Of course, I'm not sure how long the neutral part will last if I spend much time with this crowd..
I'm hoping that Ssrintal posts soon, I'd hate to lose one of our only Abyssal representatives.
What are everyone's thoughts/speculations/positive or negative feedback thus far? I know it's still early in the game but I'd like to see what everyone's reactions are so far.

That, and the fact that we could just point Ssrintal toward the temple and he'd tear the whole mountain down single-handedly. I think we need to make sure he gets dibs on the first adamantine weapon we come across...

It was a solid introduction, it got us all on the same track with the knowledge that we were on a direct mission from our patron and had an immediate reason to work with the things that showed up with us. There's not much to comment on yet, but I'm looking forward to finding out what you have waiting for us!
So was it agreed we are all speaking infernal? I will drop reference to Infernal in my spoilers, but still spoiler Chess' telepathy since he is not physically talking and all his messages may not be wide broadcasts.
Enjoying it so far. It is nice to be in a group of reasonable evil, where the competitive edge will likely be counting coup (as in kills and souls) as opposed to slitting each other's throats.
I can speak and understand any language, so infernal is fine. Although I can speak infernal anyway. I definitely like the intro, now we gotta get into the church.
Abdiel The Faithful(Male Imp (Outsider, Lawful, Evil, Extra-Planar) Ninja 2)
Yeah, infernal seems to be our core language, so I will likewise be dropping the spoilers on it in the future.
So far, it seems good, though I admit to concern about what will happen when our heavenly target arrives.
Truespeech (Su) All azatas can speak with any creature that has a language, as though using a tongues spell (caster level 14th). This ability is always active.
@Astrid - check your stats, I think you should get to add your Wis to your AC - it is a Monk ability. - Not sure whether you have just not finished your character sheet, but +3 to AC is nice.
AC Bonus (Ex)
When unarmored and unencumbered, the monk adds his Wisdom bonus (if any) to his AC and his CMD. In addition, a monk gains a +1 bonus to AC and CMD at 4th level. This bonus increases by 1 for every four monk levels thereafter, up to a maximum of +5 at 20th level.
These bonuses to AC apply even against touch attacks or when the monk is flat-footed. He loses these bonuses when he is immobilized or helpless, when he wears any armor, when he carries a shield, or when he carries a medium or heavy load.
As a note, if Ssrintal doesn't post by Monday, I'm going to open his slot on the recruitment thread. This party is currently all but representing Hell so I'd like to recruit an Abyssal spokesperson.
Glad you said that, once I looked at the demon lords, I realized they were too directed. One was spiders, another fungus - no general things like RAGE and DESTRUCTION!!!
Just a quick FYI - I'll be out of town and away from the internet for about 48 hours from the time of this post. Disappearing into the suburbs for the weekend.
Please take any DMPC actions required to keep things moving along.
Zadlu would likely stand up and attempt to haste the party.
Well, that must be a GM function, unfortunately. I have a game that the DM never really came back after Christmas. No posts in over 3 months and it doesn't have the (inactive) tag.
I read somewhere that it is 3 months. Unless the DM sets it as inactive. I had one that went inactive in about November and the DM never did anything, it just fell off my list about a month ago.
