hmm, well time to an eternal god is nothing but as such we are not gods or immortal ad such we can't hold for the time it would take to breed out all the weakness in the lesser races. Choot I by no stretch ment we should hold off on uniting the orcs, just breeding happens when one destroys a city or two. Let the old raze the young while the powerful win the war"

"The gods would not make lust so pleasant, or reward victory by sating it, if they did not wish us to take our pleasures," Hakak said. "The whelps are weak and we show strength by making them strong with our own."

And that is by a good margin the nastiest thing I've said IC in a long time. And I play a torturer in another game. :)

Shakraal makes a great show of spluttering as the males wave their virtual epic appendages in the air.

"Your lust is sated? It is no wonder the orc is not the champion of creation. His. Lust. Ends. Let the women rule, and see how lust is mastered. We lust for everything eternally. But most of all, we lust for control. Control of our menfolk. Control of our place in our tribe. And we lust to control that which comes closest to conquering us. The Moon." Here Shakraal's voice drops to a growl.

The wyrdwarrior stoops as she removes her hideous mask, and rubs her jaw. She sighs.

"Let us sleep, either with our tribes or together, as the nucleus of a new tribe. By tomorrow's end we should have a legion of ardent adulation. And many enemies. Whither you go, sleep with One. Eye. Open." Shakraal opens her third eye to emphasise her point.

"Yes too much breeding talk for me this evening. Excellent idea, let us be off to sleep then, are there anymore trials any of you wish to do tomorrow so I may better prepare for the day?

As all the rest are setting their sleeping areas Thoku sets a fire, he pulls out a small skull and who see it can tell it is clearly the skull of a young orc. Night descends as the Trial of Might concludes and the six comrades vow to form a tribe. They have competed together in the Trials, proving their bond of flesh and blood. Now, they share tents, sleeping as kin about a single fire with bedrolls touching. This is no warband. They are not ruled by the might of one chief, with promise of blood and gold or the fear of their chief binding them together. They are a tribe!

A slave brings meat and strong drink, and the warriors feast long into the night. Finally, the Cold One is full and bright in the sky, standing against the Pale Fires flickering in the endless cavern above. His cousins have all curled up into their blankets as Thoku sets a fire. He pulls out the skull of a young orc. The Bloodied One cuts his palm as he fills a portion of the skull, setting it down on a rock close to the fire so it heats up. Thoku then takes out a small vial of ink, a leather bound journal, and a quill made of bone. He pores some of the ink into the heated blood and mixes it well. He carefully dips the writing-bone into the mixture and writes in his journal. His task complete, Thoku puts his things away and drifts off to sleep as well, curling himself in his blankets.

Shakraalis the first to hear it. The stomping of the night-axes is so loud, it would rouse even a dwarf. The hex-caller looks out, Thrull's back is turned to the fire, so it cannot see that six warriors in hides clearly painted with the mark of the twisted nail descending on the small tribe, greataxes held aloft and ready for the attack!

The Twisted Nail Attacking in the Night!
Surprise! The Twisted Nail are not that happy that you have soundly humiliated them! And, so, they've decided to get some payback. You haven't had the chance to replenish spells, yet, because it's the middle of the night. The twisted Nails have the worst rolls in the history of worst rolls for initiative, so they go dead last in every round. Shakraal is the only who gets to act int he surprise round, thanks to her perception score.
The map is editable on Google Drive... I gave up on getting Roll20 to do what I want at the moment, so you can make yourself go where you want yourself to go

If you guys want, there's a ritual we can do to form a tribe, all you need to do is get a willing shaman (not Choot, since he'd be joining the tribe)

Shakraal curls up next to the warmth of the fire, falchion resting by her side. Her third-eye stays open, even while she sleeps, contemplating the White Mistress/Cold One. Whether it is a flicker of movement or the sound of approaching feet, she would not (or could not...) later say...

Shakraal leaps to her feet, tearing her covers off.

"Wassail! Wassail! Brothers!!! We are ambushed!"

Immediately the warwitch begins a mystic convocation, drawing sigils in the air that emanate as bluish whisps and then coalesce about her as eldritch protection. Then, dropping her mask into place, her very flesh ripples and hardens with dark keloid scarring - snarling and swinging her falchion Shakraal threatens the foolish Twisted Nail wretch closest to her...

Round 1 Actions:

Fleshripper also rises up and then closes in on T2.

The Twisted Nail orcs pause in shock as the alarm is called. "For the honor of the Twisted Nail!!" They hurl javelins into the air with powerful heaves of their mighty arms.

Twisted Nail attacks:

Orc 1 uses Javelin on Shakraal: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Orc 6 uses Javelin on Choot: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

Like the Thunderer's own bolts, the javelins fall. Their razor points pierce flesh and bone, impaling brave Kern One-eye and wise Choot! Skysplitter rolls from his blankets, but, still the sky-fang tears through the sinews of his leg!

So, Kraq, Hakak (sorry, again, guys.. thought i had the macros uptodate), and Choot owe actions on Round 1. Once I get those, i'll update again

Round 1
Hakak snarls as he comes awake, kicking Fleshripper and cursing as he rises. He seizes his scythe and shoves the spineback toward the nearest Twisted Nail with a vile curse. The spineback hisses and does as its master bids. Fleshripper's claws tear great rents into the soil as it charges towards its master's foe. Drool drips from the great lizard's maw and it bares its teeth in a fierce challenge.

Grell surges forward, tearing into one of the Twisted Nail orcs with a ferocity that would make any master proud. Claws and fang part orc flesh as easy as any falchion. The warrior is clearly dead, yet, still the great beast's bloodlust spurs him on! He pounces on the ruined corpse, raking back with his hind claws as well as savaging the stump that was once the orc's head. Soon, the creature pulls and the Twisted Nail warrior is rent asunder into several small pieces. Pieces which Grell greedily begins eating.

Thoku lifts his hand in front of him, making a small motion as he does. Some of the blood staining the soil runs towards him in thin streams of orc blood. The life force of his tribe, spilt into the sands of Belkzen, heed the commands of the Disciple of the Blood God, and rush up to protect him. The blood cocoons Thoku in a thing shell that dissipates into a translucent almost invisible aura of blood-tinted force.

At the same time, Shakraal, now standing, slips her mask into place even as her very flesh ripples and hardens with dark keloid scarring - snarling and swinging her falchion Shakraal threatens the foolish Twisted Nail wretch closest to her.

Intimidate on T1:

Will Save: DC 26 (not quite sure why i'm bothering...): 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15
-2 to all d20 rolls for 3 rounds. Jolly good show, wot!

The warrior visibly gulps, and the falchion he brandishes quivers in his hand. Shakraal's ferocity has unmanned the warrior! She smells the acrid stench of her enemy's water fouling the ground, Are these the mighty Twisted Nail? The savage orcs who are so powerful that they can prey on other tribes for food? They are but children! Mewling whelps who still suckle their mother's milk!

The Skysplitter stands and snarls a challenge at the Twisted Nail warriors. Selzarian's smoke billows from his lips and water flows about his clenched fist, like ale cupped in a drinking horn. The water crackles and sparks as it moves, as though mighty Rull himself spat it upon the ground! Kraq throws the phlegm of the Thunderer at the feet of one of the warriors. It strikes the warrior clean in the face, and the warrior snarls in pain as his flesh burns from the lighting splashed up on him!

Not to be outdone, Kern Dead-Eye charges at his own foe. The master cannot be bested by his beast! Great Dead-Eye swings his double-axe in a powerful arc at his foe. His enemy raises a hand to catch the haft of axe. But, such is the power of the blow, that it cleaves through fingers and rips through the warrior's chest. Kern completes the swing and stands triumphant atop the corpse of his foe, bathed in the blood of his enemy!

Choot curses as he stands to his feet. The javelin tore through his leg, and his blood drains freely from the wound. Still, the Bones-Speaker marshals his strength. The Destroyer preys weakness! He gestures towards Thrull and the rotting elf moans its reply! It shambles forward towards the same warrior burned by the Skyplitter's lightning and swings! Bone shatters beneath the corpse's fist. The orc reels but still still stands.

"Zagresh whip that impudent whelp!" Choot gestures at the orc, and a terrifying orc clad in the bleeding hide of a bear sinks his hands into the warrior's head.

T5's save:

Will save vs Murderous Command DC 13: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (14) - 1 = 13

The warrior whines in agony for but a moment before snarling in rage and swinging his blade at Choot's pet elf. The blade takes a huge chunk of meat from the elf's side, and the corpse teeters with the blow. But, such is the power of Zagresh's Bone-Talker, that elf is denied even this release from the slavery of orcs. It still stands to do its master's bidding!

The orc lifts his falchion into the air and roars with victory. "Kill them! Shrogkar demands their blood for Mighty Zagresh! Their Bone-Talker is false! The Twisted Nail will feast on their flesh tonight!" His tribemates answer with their own growls and brutal yawps and descend on newborn tribe as a horde.

The one who attacked Choot now seeks tougher prey in Thoku. He swings his falchion at the Bloodied one. And, though his thews are great, his blade is turned aside by the shield of Thoku's tribe-blood! Fleshripper's foe swings and cuts the lizard down! The spinosaur snarls and staggers back to its feet, but Hakak's beast cannot suffer another blow! Finally, the warrior that Shakraal unmanned regains enough of his mettle to hurl a javelin at the hexcrafter! The javelin strikes Shakraal in the side, and she feels her life bleed form her, despite the smoke-speech of Selzarian girding her form!

"Only I slay my spineback!" Hakak roars as he lungs forward, pushing past Kraq to slash at Fleshripper's attacker. His soul-thresher cuts through the air in a vicious slash, and as the tuskless hew grain, so does the Earth-Speaker the warrior's soul! Life drips from the great curve of his scythe as Hakak roars in victory.

Grell roars his own battle-song. But, it is a weak offering, and the Thunderer is not pleased. The cat pounces upon the Twisted Nail savage, but only one of its mighty paws connects, raking down across the warrior's chest. The wound is deep, still, and the warcat is bathed in the blessings of mighty Nulgreth!

"Hahah!! Let the blood flow and fly! Even your pathetic blood will make the Blood God grin as it flies through the air and wets the ground!" Like Nulgreth himself, Thoku launches a terrible assault on his foe. Fang and claw strike the warrior, and sink deep into his flesh. Then, with a mighty heave of his bulging thews, Thoku pulls in two directions at once. There is a loud ripping noise, as though ripping through a hide tent, and then a rain of life falls in metallic-tasting drops, painting the ground red. The ruined corpse dangles from both hands of mighty Thoku, who is himself, painted red anew.

"Pitiful creature..." Seeing his foe defeated by the great rage of the Earth-Speaker, Skyplitter turns his attention to the Hexcrafter's foe. Selzarian's smoke fills his lungs as he snarls the Fire God's tongue. The blood of the fallen begins to glow and burn, sending off dark acrid smoke and blinding colors of the mist-bridge.

T1 saves:

Color Spray Will Save DC 16: 1d20 - 1 - 2 ⇒ (19) - 1 - 2 = 16 Made. Seriously!?

But, the cannibal closes his eyes to Selzaria's power, and Kraq's wyrdwords hold no power over him.

Shakraal sees her chance! She charges from her blankets, giant sword held aloft by her mighty thews. A powerful warrior bathed in blood! KLringsdaughtter swings her blade, but Zagresh has turned his gaze from her foe, and his soul remains his own.

Fleshripper, obeys the commands of its master. Such is the strength of Hakak's will, that the spinosaur ignores its grievous wounds to savage its master's foe.

Fleshripper attacks on t1:

bite ac 13: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
claw1 AC 13: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
claw2 AC 13: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

The orc is unbalanced from the twin assaults of the smoke speakers, and his back is turned to the peril of Hakak's lizard. Claw and fang sink deep into the warrior. Jaws clench tight about the cannibal's skull, crushing it with deadly force, even as a claw rips open the brute's back, exposing his spine and innards. His corpse falls to the ground, an offering to the Destroyer, whom claims all at the end. Fleshripper roars a victory challenge, gobbets of flesh dangle from its painted jaw.

Finally, Kern Dead-Eye charges past the campfire, double-axe held high. He leaps into the air, and brings it down with crushing force. Nulgreth fills his sinews with rage, his muscles tighten with the Blood God's gifts! The axe descends and cuts his foe in twain! Red mist flies to the sky, an offering to Nulgreth, Lord of Battle. Meat falls to the ground, an offering to Zagresh!

So, that was the first combat of the game w00t! Some of the corpses are only mostly dead, so they could be treated to make them alive enough for questioning--if such is what you want. otherwise, they're good eats!

Choot mutters a small prayer to the Destroyer and Fleshripper roars in pain as ghostly claws erupt from his wounds and pull the tattered ends close, stitching together ruined sinew and scaly hide. Whole once more, the beast bends down and begins feeding on the dead orc beside him.

As Choot prays to Zagresh to turn his gaze from Fleshripper, Thoku shackles the healthiest of the dying orcs: a male with a cracked skull and torn ear. Somehow, Nulgreth's strength still fills his ruined body, and the orc clings tenaciously to life. Bound, hand to foot, the cannibal is ready for Choot's stitchwork.

At his command, his ruined slave shambles about the corpses, ripping out tusks and teeth--many of the Twisted Nail file their teeth to pointy fangs, the better to tear through the raw flesh of their favored prey. They should meet his needs, now. The spirit talker takes the tusks and fangs and begins his work: He pulls the ruined flesh on the side of the orc's head tight together, then forces the teeth through, pinching the tear closed. For lesser wounds, he thrusts a dagger into the fire, heating the blade until it glows white hot. Then, he places the blade to the various cuts and punctures about the warrior's form, cauterizing them and sending the mouth-watering scent of burning flesh into the air. The lesser wounds tended to, the Mouth of Zagresh turns to the cloven skull. He pulls it this way and that, testing to see if the brain inside is intact. Else, his efforts are for nought. The eye is ruined, that is clear, it seems his foe's mind is whole. Pity.

Thrull bends down and forces the two sides of the orc's head together. and then tears and rips at the meat about the ruined skull, exposing much of the bone underneath. He stalks away back to the campfire and tosses bits of soft bronze from the bodies into an iron pot he sets in the center. Minutes later, the metal bubbles and flows within the flame. Gingerly, he lifts the pot from the flame and pours the liquid bronze onto the exposed bone. Once more, the scent of charred bone and flesh fill the air. The liquid flows over the bone, working into the fracture and sealing it together; it dribbles into the orc's ruined eye, and the orb bursts as the fluid within boiled to steam. Still, the liquid flows and fills in the socket.

Choot nods to himself as the warrior moans in agony. The Destroyer's slave has little skill with Dretha's craft, but it is enough, today. The warrior is strong. He has been tested, and fought his way free from the hoard of Zagresh. The cannibal will live.

Next, the bone-speaker then extends a hand out towards Thrull and the priest's shadow spreads out from him like water. When it touches the ripped and tattered flesh of a corpse, it draws in to the body like water to a sponge. The corpse's ruined flesh begins to writhe and wriggle like maggots. They tear themselves free from the corpses and slither through the soil to Thrull, crawling over the dead elf's wounds and filling in the great gashes. They fuse with the undead flesh, becoming new muscle and bone, until the undead slave stands whole once more!

A new scent fills the air: orc urine. Good, the cannibal is awake, and he saw the mighty works of Zagresh's power. He will give answer more freely.

"Well killed!" Hakak said. "And my thanks for seeing to Fleshripper.

He squatted down by the orc who harmed Fleshripper and pulled off its pants like he was skinning a deer. Holding his scythe in one hand, he deprived the corpse of its manhood and tossed the morsels to Fleshripper.

Awesome description Dragon. And then Hakak has to equal it with some simple mortuary-castration-petfood. This campaign is awe-ful!

Shakraal limps over to the cannibal, favoring her leg and leaning on her overlarge falchion. She eyes the captive warrior's steaming body with much pleasure. Though he fought her tribe, he has taken his suffering with great fortitude, and the sight of his pulsing sinew and musculature excites her.

The wyrdcaster hunches down next to the prisoner, and runs a sharp talon shaped gauntleted fingernail down the hulk's skull, tracing the passage of melted bronze. The dreadmasque lifts, and the horrid wilting eye of potent doom slips open, blinking twice oozily before settling its baleful gaze on the unfortunate with a deep stare. Shakraal closes her two eyes as she whispers into the mewling and whining cannibal's ear.

"Tell us that which we wish to know. And perhaps you will live. [Here Shakraal grabs the prisoner's head to force its eyes to watch Hakak's handiwork with scythe'n'balls and Fleshripper's gulpy-gulpy, while her other hand clutches the victim's own manhood for effect] With your manhood." Shakrall graces the cannibal with a grisly smile.
