Couple questions about the map:

* Is the green area covered with trees or other growth? Is it difficult terrain?

* How deep is the water? Is it wadeable?

How far are the Drakes from us, Melee Ranged distance?

i think on the map they're relatively close. Close enough for range, but not melee.

Ozak surveys the battlefield, his strong mind and eyes already forming countless strategies for his Chief. The plains are soft rolling grass, the kind the aurochs herd upon during Flood Truce. There no rocks to top a warrior's foot, nor trees for cowards to hide. There a few large Boulder ms and bushes. The stream is a puny thing, it stands only at warrior's knees. It flows swift and clear, but the rocks of its bottom are clean. A warrior should have no problem crossing it, although the water would slow his stride. The pond is deeper, perhaps as deep as the chief's war tent. It's waters are still and murky.

translation:

The field is pretty flat. It's not difficult terrain. There are a few boulders and shrubs that could provide cover from ranged attacks.

The river is a foot deep. You won't have any trouble crossing it, although it does
Count as difficult terrain. Lets call it a DC 5 to rush through.

The pond is about 10 feet deep. You can swim it. Normal 10 DC applies

Round 1

The tribe rush forward, battle-lust burning in their blood. They see only foes and prey, heedless of danger. For, what foe could hope to stand against the fearsome might of the Bleeding Storm? Shakraal, blood-thirst hot on her tongue, is first to drive forward, rushing towards the river and roaring in contempt at the drake feasting on the orc guard! Next, is Hakak and his slave Flreshripper! They will not be shown as cowards! Earth-caller and spinosuar charge, hot on the wyrd-caster's heels. Ozak and Choot follow next. The slave of the shaman shambles behind, ready to do its master's bidding.

drakes:

One spits a glob on Hakak
DC 14 Ref!: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 entangled
damage: 2d8 ⇒ (4, 4) = 8 needs to save again next round
when can it spit again?: 1d6 ⇒ 2 turns

Second drake tries to attack Hakak and Fleshripper
Speed surge to move to stand next to Hakak and Fleshripper

tail slap: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 nope

Third drake rushes forward and spits at Choot
Speed surge to get into range. splashes in a 5' radius. Thrull needs a check too
DC 14 Ref!: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 not entangled
damage: 2d8 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3 only takes half damage.. so ... 1 damage. no need to save next round
when can it spit again?: 1d6 ⇒ 6 turns
DC 14 Ref!: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19 (i'm pretty sure this number isn't accurate) but not entangled
damage: 2d8 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9 only takes half damage.. so ... 4 damage.no need to save next round

One of the drakes arches its neck, it's maw opening wide revealing rows of sharp fangs. It makes a great hacking sound, and spits out a great glob of phlegm. The sticky ball hurtles the air and splashes wetly against Hakak's chest. The slime coats the earth-caller, and hardens at his feet, pinning him to the ground! Steam and smoke rise from where it touches his flesh, and he feels his body melt beneath the lizard's juices.

The muscles of the other river-dragons clench tight beneath their scaled hides. Two surge forward, quick as the raging waters of the Flood Road. One spits a glob of that same phlegm at Choot and his corpse-slave. Both shaman and servant sidestep the worst of the blast, and, though their flesh sizzles from the splash of sticky acid, neither of them are bound to the earth as their fellow tribesman.

The other drake sees Hakak pinned to the earth and seizes the advantage. Its jaw clamp tight about the earth-caller's leg, clenching tight and nearly snapping bone! Blood pours freely from the wound, nourish the grass with his power! The beast roars and twists, slapping its prey with its paddle-like tail, and Hakak feels his ribs creak beneath the blow.

The chief moves his mighty form toward the drake that took the crone gaining mass and growing in size "I have yet to see her importance but I'll not have a tribesmen taken with out my leave " Hakak's blood and dissolved flesh mingle with that from Thrull and the Slave of Zagresh and run towards the chief like a river of blood. It fills his sacred body. His thews bulge with steely strength, and he grows taller. He is a true orc chief!

Seeing his Chief's will, Kern points at the drake to the north and roars at Grell to kill it. She runs toward it and leaps gracefully over the small stream in her way, getting near but not able to attack the drake quite yet. Kern moves to the edge of the stream and prepares to leap across himself.
Round 2 begins

Effects:

Hakak: entangled. Each rounds needs to make a DC 14 Ref save to break free of entangled, and also avoid 1d4 acid damage.
Thoku: enlarge person, active next round

The drake has his back to me!

He rushes forwards, Skullbiter flashing in the light.

A normal move and then attack the Drake with Flanking. I know I'm not supposed to try and save Hakak but when a flanking opportunity comes up I'll take it.

BTW who is the goombah-like guy to the north?

Hello again.

In the northwest, a tall orc with very green skin stood. He wore armor of cured troll hide, warted and gray, with the face stretched wide across his chest and sewn with teeth. At the shoulders it had large, yellowed bones for guards. He carried a bow as tall as he was, made of one legbone of an ogre. A matching thighbone hung from his shoulder, hollowed out and full of arrows. From his waist hung a huge axe, its handle also a single bone, with man skulls fixed to either side of the blade where it met and hung with teeth and fingers. Opposite the axe, another bone held the business end of an earthbreaker larger than a man's head.

He laughed maniacally as he nocked one of his giant arrows.

"Mighty Thoku! I come to make corpses for you!" He loosed twice in quick succession at the drake facing Grell. "Death flies! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!"

Round 2
The wyrd-sister stalks through the stream, the river's mud squelching beneath her boots. Her dreadmask leers and she laughs, mockingly at the northern river drake. For, it knows not the runes she casts! Sezelrian's smoke billows from the mouth and nose of her mask and fill her eyes with the sight of the drake's uncut thread. She digs a furrow into the earth, coiling its threads in her hands.
Misfortune:

DC 15 Will Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14 ya, it needs to roll 2x for every d20 roll and take the worst result

Her fingers tangle in the beast's fate, and she pulls them apart with a wicked sneer.

"Mighty Thoku! I come to make corpses for you!" He loosed twice in quick succession at the drake facing Grell. "Death flies! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!" War-rain falls like the Thunderer's gift, and twice, the fell beast sprouts trees from its flesh. Its vital waters spill from the wounds, loosed by the war needles taking root, and forming a great war-sea beneath the beast's mighty paws!

The Mouth of Zagresh and laughs, and his voice booms across the field as though from the depths of the Destroyer's own cavern. He lifts his mighty blood-ember into the air as he approaches the river-serpent, his corpse-slave shambling behind. With a mighty heave, and another prayer to Zagresh, he swings!

attack:

axe: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
damage: 1d12 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Ozak roars with bloodlust! The beast's back is turned to him! He lifts his double-headed bone-beak into the air and brings it crashing down on the stream-lizard's back! Bones shatter and red life sprays into the air, bathing Ozak in battle-sweat. The beast roars and lashes out in pain. Madness takes over the beast, and it swipes out in front of it with twin claws. It catches the Earth-caller twice in the chest, spilling forth his entrails upon the grass. Hakak falls, the first of Thoku's tribe, his vital waters feeding the soil, his flesh, the ravens.

[/spoilers]

The other river-fangs make their strike, one surges across the river to flank Ozak with its brother. But, the warrior's battle-skin is far too strong, and the beast grinds its teeth on the metal. The other drake chomps at Kern's beast, but it strength is no match for the Bloodscreamer's hex! Kern and his beast return the blows, but the dragon's scales are too thick to loose its blood.

This decrease changes the creature's size category to the next smaller one. Hopefully that will allow her to slip out of it's grasp or it will just drop her because she is suddenly so much smaller. He looks past the drake and sees Thoku towering over the others. He nods to Thoku. His back is to you; he is all yours!

[ooc]Gasp! Yes you totally can redo your action[/oocA]

The end

Initiatives:

Choot Othul: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Jugag: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Kern Dead-Eye: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Ozak: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Shakraal Kringsdaughter: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Thoku Blood Drinker: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
River Drakes: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Gonna bot Shakraal and Thoku a bit longer

Once more, Shakraal digs great furrows into the earth. The wyrd-smoke of her sisters issues from her lungs and fills the furrows in the soil. She screams, and the fates quake. And, the river-serpent knows its doom.

Does she bind its doom?:

DC 15 will save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 ya it's misfortuned

Once more she feels the weight of the creature's fate in her hands. She tears it apart.

From the north, once more Jugag serves his chief in battle."Death flies! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!" Jugag shouts again. "Jugag sends it! See, Mighty Thoku!" He takes another step forward and looses two arrows in quick succession. His war-needles fly and rain down upon the river-serpent. One giant arrow plants in the drake's eye and the beast falls to the earth, dead.

On the other side of the stream, Choot steps backwards, willing his slave to attack. The corpse-warrior groans and charges into the drake. It pounds its rotting fists onto the drake, snapping one of its arms. Meanwhile, the mouth of Zagresh calls upon the power of the Destroyer. A spectral bear,, black and full of rotting flesh, rears up from behind the shaman and roars

does the drake know fear:

DC 14 will save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 nope

But, the drake roars as well, and the spectral bear is torn asunder by the fury of the serpent's voice.

Beside Choot, Ozak watches as Thoku crashes into the drake, nearly ripping its leg of in his jaws.

"Nice one, Chief!"

Ozak spins Skullbiter in the air. He slashes at the Drake, trying to finish it off. "Hah! Over here, you misbegotten beast!" His axe severs the creature's spine. The thing gasps, once, and ti falls to the ground, twitching in agony. Then, the Daggertooth his hold on his double-headed warclaw and swings backwards, sending the head of his bone-beak up into the beast's skull, cleaving it in twain.

The day belongs to the Tribe!

And, ending combat, because 2hp not worth quibbling about

Jugag went happily to work, whistling as he dismembered Hakak. Such small bones. How did this one win Mighty Thouk's favor?

"Mighty Thoku!" Jugag said on his return. He had Hakak's spine and skull with him, both still dripping and connected. He gave them a shake. "His bones are small."

The crime dusts herself off from where she fell thanks to Choot's mighty smoke. Her eyes blaze with have the color of blood behind her horned mask. I know not, my chief. The tongue of such beasts is not strange to my ears, but they spoke only of flesh and slaughter. she pauses and looks around, even tasting the waters abut. This is not their den, Bloodided One. They do not smell as these waters. They came from some place else.

[spoiler=translation]
The crime speaks dragon. But, they weren't very talkative.

Shakraal hides a small tear as Hakak, the sometime winnower falls and is casually dismembered.

Thus is all our fate....

She looks on this newling. First Ozak, now...Jugag. To replace the others who have left the Fist. Kraq. Hakak. Who would fall next?

"Welcome Jugag. May your sinews stay tight and your blood inside."

Shakraal sees to the crone, looking her over before standing attendant to Thoku's will.

Thanks for botting me Dragon. Back on deck now...

"I go!" Jugagi said happily, heading off to do as bid.

Updating tomorrow. sorry crazy life monday and tuesday.

The river drakes are butchered by Ozak's knife, and Thoku's Fist, as his trusted warriors are called by the Tribe, feast well on the roasted flesh. The meat is good, it's strength will make the Fist strong. Already, they feel their thews and sinews becoming thicker, mightier. Even the crone sits at Thoku's cookfire and feasts. Garrek Gorthek-Brother, whom the Tribe has begun to call Stone-Rearer, entertains the Bloodied One and his Fist by commanding two of his human whelps to fight for a few scraps of food. Already, the stone-children are showing their strength: they have grown more strong and hardy. Still, they are soft, and Garrek must beat them before they give in to their bloodlust and attack each other. He forbids them to kill, however, and he stops the two, when one is clearly beaten. He tosses the winner a piece of the drake, the other, gets a haunch of one of the human slaves culled from the siege of Trunau. Both attack the meat with abandon, and relish the juices running down their chins. He grunts at them, and the two run over to sit at his feet like trained wolves.

The crone laughs and claps at the whelps' antics, and then devours the rest of her meat. When she is done, she throws the bones into the fire, reading their doom in the sizzling blood and charred flesh. Mighty Thoku, the Spirits do not say who is your foe. But, these drakes were bound by will of another. Lanistra's collars chained them to a powerful warrior. She turns a knowing gaze to her chief, and stares Fierce Thoku in the eye. You have made powerful enemies. Perhaps one of them seek your end? I will consult the Spirits when the Burning Angel stains the Great Cavern with her issue. For, when Nulgreth has slain the light, and sent her to dread Zagresh, it is the time of the Fire God. And, his great smokes are strongest in the half-time. Then, his smokes can cloud even the furthest reaches.

I'll give you guys a bit more time to RP before we move on to the next event

Kern watches the two human children fighting with interest for a while, then goes and begins sharpening his axe while he eats some non-human meat.

Shakraal likewise gazes at the fighting humans, though perhaps with less interest than her brothers-in-arms. The warwitch looks at the rescued crone with more consideration.

The crone tells Thoku little. Through ignorance or craftiness?
