Hali's going to cast *Thunderburst* 20' radius, centered at J 16/17. Trying to hit 4 Bloodless but not Thogg.

Thunderburst:
(Ex): 100' range, 20' radius, 9d6 damage (+2 levels-Magical Knack Oracle) + Deafness. Fort Save for no deafness and half damage. (DC20 applies?)
As a standard action, you can create a blast of air accompanied by a loud peal of thunder. The blast has a range of 100 feet and has a 20-foot radius, increasing by 5 feet for every 4 oracle levels after 7th. Creatures in the area take 1d6 points of bludgeoning damage per oracle level and are deafened for 1 hour, with a Fortitude save resulting in half damage and no deafness. You must be at least 7th level to select this revelation. You can use this ability once per day, plus one additional time per day at 11th level and every four levels thereafter.


You will either miss BL 1 or BL 2 if you try to avoid Thogg.

If your base is 40 then haste adds 30. 70/5=14 squares.

edit:You can make it to C23 or D24 with 14 squares of movement.

Okay-- she'll go for BLs 1,3,&4. Missing 2 and Thogg.

And she'll move to C23. With Windsight she can still see around the corner.


Magical Knack does not apply. Thunderburst is based on class levels not caster levels. While an oracle is a caster the two terms are not synonymous in this case.
In this case we have a level 7 oracle who counts as a 9th level oracle for the purpose of spells when spellcasting is referenced*. If magical knack affected class levels then everything that was affect by class level would be improved to include which revelations you qualified for.

If she were to cast a cure moderate spell she would use 2d8+9 instead of 2d8+7, as an example.

2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6

Taking away the above roll bring the damage to 27 before I make any saves. You can change your action or keep the 27, and I will roll the fort save vs the ability.

edit:If you are asking about summon spells and you have a way to cast one as a standard action then the monster comes into play this round.

Just wanted to say after Kettles action, Lotus will move to range and turn undead, also she will also ask her Armor to cast shield, then move back if she can, at meeting all day so my not be online until tomorrow

The summon spell is a one round spell. I'd requested to start casting it when the dwarves started their smack talk. If I can't srart the spell, I'd prefer to have cast [i]acid pit[/] on their location. If I can 't have cast a surprise spell, I'll cast it now with the intention of missing Thogg.


I will go with the Acid Pit spell. Even if I center it on a point instead of a square I can only get one of them no matter where the pit is placed.

For now I will say the target is B-3.

DC 23 Reflex save:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24

B-3 notices the group opening beneath him and jumps out of the way.
The blue area is the pit.

I did not check your feats and the list I saw only led me to a 23. Now I see that you have spell focus.

From now on I would like everyone to list the DC of any saves they want the bad guys to make. :)

Kaz ignore the crit confirmation. It seems I saw that 13 as a different number than what it was. That 137 should be 56 points of damage.

Since she's hasted and only used a fraction of her move, can she keep moving to L23?

Technically, no. Haste doesn't grant an extra move action. You'd need something like Shot on the Run.


Thogg is correct, unlike the 3.0 haste you don't get an extra action.

BL3 is also still inside the pit so you don't have line of sight or line of effect.

BL2 is legal target though.

Touch attack to hit BL2: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22

The undead creature takes 54 points of damage and it makes him angrier than he already was.

That I noticed, we didn't roll damage for the BL3's first round in the pit. So damage twice:

acid damage 4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 6, 1) = 15
acid damage 4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 4, 5) = 15

Adreris nods with satisfaction as one combatant slips into the extradimensional space. He then sets his eyes on Kaz's adversary. He barks out several strange words and gestures violently, then he repeats the words and motions more deliberately. A dozen tiny monsters wearing barbed armor pop into place around the wizard, their vestigial wings holding them aloft for a split second before they dive towards the undead dwarf with incredible accuracy.

Intensify Spell in case you get to play under another GM.:
Intensify doesn't work on magic missile

Intensify is for spells that use the Dx/caster level formula such as fireball or lightening bolt. Spell that shoot out rays or magic missiles or anything per caster level don't qualify since the cap is not on damage dice, but on rays or magic missiles.

With that said I don't think it is broken, at least not yet so it is ok for this game.

Hali I applied your damage to the creature Thogg was fighting already since the original target is not in line of effect. If not it might still be alive.


I will have Tik-Tik throw another bomb when I get home tonight if he has not gone yet.

He had would have made it to Thogg's last attack otherwise. I always apply damage as soon as it is posted so I don't have to deal with it later.

Once I saw your target was not legal(due to being in a pit) I guessed that you would have helped Thogg out. He seemed to be taking a beating.

If it helps him, Kaz still gets the benefit of +2 to hit, +2 to damage from Hali's song-- until her coming turn. How does he get to attack so often? Whew!

i also forgot the +1 for haste so a total of +3 to hit and +2 to damage, I should have waited to post until I had my first cup of coffee.


Kaz you are able to kill him assuming Tik Tik decides to keep the attack roll where you got splashed with the bomb. :)
I am assuming he will keep that attack.

There is currently one enemy left, but he is trapped in the pit.
