The only downside of the spell is that you can only breath water during the duration. It can also be used offensively to force someone into drowning in a waterless environment if you were so inclined.

Good Afternoon my friends,I am writing you today with some rather unfortunate news. As some of you know I am in the military. Recently a system administrator found that despite me visiting Pazio on my “personal-use” time, due to what was considered “excessive bandwidth” on a “gaming site” I was given a direct order not to access the site from a unit computer. This unfortunately limits my options. I love pbp’s and I love the groups and adventures I interact with. In a way it is a form of escapism for me. However, a direct order is something I can’t scoff at. If I violate it, I would be endangering my advancement (hence a larger paycheck for me and my family). As such I need to take a leave of absence from the pbp forums until I can gain access to a personal computer. This will take some time. Due to the sensitive nature of what I do, I am not at liberty to say when I will post again, but I assure you all I am coming back and I would request that you remain patient with me in the interim. For some campaigns I have spent months and months playing with you all and I have no intention of quitting, but at this present time, I can’t interact with this website. That said, while I would be deeply sad should you wish to remove me from the campaigns, or leave the ones that I run, I would understand. This is a hard thing to swallow, but it cannot be avoided or circumvented.
I will return as strong as ever, perhaps more so because of a need to catch up. For what it’s worth I am sorry; this is out of my hands. I’ll check back when I can, as soon as I can and pop my head in so you all know I have not simply left.

Thanks for the update on Celador/Kamal. I'm sending him back to the main expedition for now, to rejoin as he may. That means that you are only four for now. Since you are a well-balanced party that shouldn't be a problem, but would you prefer a fifth player? We could always recruit one.
Sounds like a computer access problem. I vote we give him a while to work something out first.

Well my friends... I am going away on business. I won't be able to access the pazio forums for a while. I will return but due to the nature of what I do it won't be for a while. Hope its a success Kamal, I wonder if we should recruit another to help the party, as it sounds like Kamal will be away for some time. I really like Kamal so it shouldn't be another druid, unless that's what the rest of you want. I'm thinking a cleric might be fun but open to what you guys want........
Do you think we need another player? I was thinking that you're a well-balanced party and you're all active players (kudos for that by the way), so I don't think it's necessary. On the other hand a fifth character (or sixth when Kamal returns) would probably not hurt either.
I'm for leaving the group as it is, and having Celeador check in when he can. Is there some sort of mechanic for that? Can he just fall back to the main expedition when he isn't able to post?

I feel pretty good about our balance right now. We've got a healer, so I think we're all right just moving forward as-is.
I don't have a strong opinion either way. Is the adventure path supposed to get harder? If so, we might regret not having an extra hand.
I hope that Kamal will be back before the AP gets noticeably harder. There are some difficult encounters, but as a whole I don't think you should have any trouble getting ahead.
Running away from the tree is always an option, I doubt the undead will be faster than us, or we can fight at range keeping 60ft away from the tree, or we just take our chances with a bit of melee. The last option is my least favorite. Just so you guys know my thoughts, Aerys would not want to go near the tree unless she has to.
A nice fiery spell on the tree might be a good, not really sure ...
