"If things are coming to blows, allow me to make their acquaintance to soften them up. I'll come running back sure enough, with them upset Clubbers on my tail."


"So Quill will draw them to us, then - Sidoze, Andrezi, are you up for giving her some cover fire with that poisoned weaponry on her trip back? I'm sure they'll take the bait."

"I can knock out several more, probably, through means of my own. Let's get this over with quickly."

Juno braces her small frame against the side of a building, ready to turn the corner and confront the Club Clubs in their pending pursuit of Quill.

Andrezi nods and pulls one of his curved blades into his left hand as he readies to throw the poisoned dagger with his right...

The alley is 10' wide, the street in front double that. The Clubbers are around the corner to the left, in front of a porch that's 10' x 35' wide (the width of the tavern), where there are chairs and tables in the summer.

Iff'n we're all ready then, let me work my magic."

Quill straightens her wig, gives a wink, and vanishes. She treads out into the street until about 20 feet away. She times it so she can hit the gang with a burst, but avoid any bystanders, although she can choice to save two from her Lord's powers.

She drops her magic in the center of the street, and calls out to get their attention in an effeminate gentleman's voice, "Good Evening Gentleman. How are you feeling this fine evening? you look a bit peaked." Disguise -> 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 2 = 27

She/He gives them a wink, touches the small silver mask necklace under her shirt, and unleashes 1d6 ⇒ 6 of negative energy into the mob. dc 16 fort for half.

"Oh, excuse me! Was that me?" She/he laughs and runs back toward the alley.

Off to a good start! Used 1/2 Vanish tattoos. Used 1/5 Channel Energy.

The men scream in pain as life-draining energy flows through them.

Get that freak! yells one, and they all chase Quill into the alley.

The first 4 arrive at the mouth of the alley, clubs raised in anger, next to the porch. We didn't say who was where, but can do so now. I'm assuming our fighty types are up front. 10' corridor with 4 injured Clubsters visible as we start. No one's surprised (now).

Sidoze quickly brings up his crossbow to bear on one of the front thugs straight in front of him, (one in front on left)

Juno raises both of her hands and twirls her fingertips in a circular gesture as she mutters a strange, dark, incomprehensible language.

Casting Sleep on as many as I can, starting with those in back (so they don't get trampled and woken up ;)

3 of the 4 you can see all pass out.

The closest one (on the right) finds himself with a bolt in his gut, in spite of Sidoze's obstacles, and sees that he's in big trouble.

He turns and runs away, while the other 4 come around the corner and see their comrades unconscious. This isn't new to them, and one drops to awaken the sleepers. The others throw daggers.

They all miss. Yes, all of them, dammit. One prone Clubbist is slapped conscious.

Andrezi is next. There are two unconscious, a third prone, one next to him kneeling, and two standing behind the 4 of them, looking angry.

Andrezi hurls the poisoned dagger at one of the standing Club Clubbers, and draws his other curved blade.

Standard Action throw, Move action draw 2nd Kukri, I am working under the assumption that these guys are human, half-elf, or half-orc

Grigori advances, gauntlets raised and with a grunt he cracks his knuckles loudly, popping his neck and growls a warning then whips out his right fist, the one covered in the spiked gauntlet, at the nearest Clubber.

Intimidate: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Spiked Gauntlet:1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

"Catch him! No survivors!" Sidoze says loudly pointing after the escaping clubbers.

Quill dashes through the crowd, hopping over the prone clubbers.

acrobatics -> 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

She hustles to the alley entrance and spots her prey.

If she can get within 30' - Quill calls "Come!" to the fleeing clubber. DC 15 will save for Command

If she is not within range she will continue to pursue.

Quill manages to just get past the kneeling man, and spies the injured one well ahead of her. He's out of range (withdrew, ran 60'), so Quill can continue to pursue him next round.

Juno rushes in front of her companions and throws her right hand forward forcefully, shouting in mysterious anger at the two Clubbers who are still conscious, though one of them is still on the ground.

The poor fellows collapse, blinded, stunned, and unconscious. The whole lot of them turned out to be pretty pathetic compared to the powerful and deadly Night Ravens. They didn't manage to get a piece of any of you.

The one Quill was chasing stumbles and falls, knocked out by the onset of the poison. A few passersby see what happened, but look away, not wanting to suffer the same for sticking their noses where they don't belong, and keep moving.

2 are dead, 6 are out cold. Whatchagonnado?

I want to pull all them into the alley and then offer whoever is willing to talk gets to live the rest will be killed. Bloodthisrty enough for you gm ;)

Yes. That's very bloodthirsty. Not a requirement, but bloodthirsty works. LOL


Juno walks forward into the array of bodies. "Get their weapons!" she says, then stoops down and begins collecting the clubs (I assume they have clubs, being the Club Clubs and whatnot :P). Once the weapons are collected and the Night Ravens have them surrounded, Juno looks to her companions for input on what to do with the unfortunates.

"Agreed." Andrezi says, starting to gather the weapons from the Clubbers. "I think we should restrain them so that they can't run when they awake, drag them someplace a bit less visible and when they come to give them an offer."

Andrezi continues dispassionately, showing little sign of emotion of any kind...

"Play them off each other...ask who the leader of their pack is, telling them we're going to kill the leader but let the rest go. Once we know who the leader is, kill all of the rest and keep the leader for questioning. The answers he gives will determine his fate."

"When we kill the others, be quick and clean. There is no need for torture, at least not for the mooks. The boss on the other hand, we might have to get creative with to find out what he knows."

They each have a club, a sap, 2 daggers and clothing in their "colors"; brown masterwork studded leather with crossed clubs stitched on the back. You figure you could get 600 for all of it. The stitching would have to be removed to be resold to most people.

As for killing them and disposing of the bodies, that's a little trickier...


Knowledge (local) 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 To know a place close by where we could interrogate them, if our current alley doesn't look sufficient.

"We can't spend too long, whatever we do, the guard will be by eventually I'm sure."

"Whoa fella. You don't look to good." As Quill catches up with the groggy clubber, she will try to catch him before he falls. She will pull the dagger, and then try to steer/drag him back toward the tavern.

"You've had too much. You need to sit down for a while." Hopefully making him seem drunk as see heads for the alley, muttering..."A little help!

"Wake them up. We will offer whoever talks gets to live. We don't need anything fancy, couple of dead gangsters won't cause a stir, soon this corner of the city will know we own this part. If we prove we deal violently with any rival gangs we can gain supporters of the common people." Sidoze shrugs as he calmly looks to the huddled gangsters reloading his crossbow before hiding it back inside his cloak.

Quill manages to drag the poisoned thug back and put him in the pile. 2 are dead. The live ones will be conscious in a few rounds.


"Sounds fair enough to me," Juno says, looking around, "this place will have to do." She draws her rapier and places it at the throat of one of the unconscious thugs.

She adds, as an afterthought, "I have a tool that will come in handy with disposing of the bodies. However, we'll need a large bag for their bones."

Sidoze flicked his gaze to the woman for a moment intrigued but then turned his eyes back to the unconscious men. Kneeling down he slapped the one closest to him waiting for him to regain consciousness gesturing for the others to do so as well. He wanted all of them awake when he gave his offer.

After the unconscious gangsters are unarmed and come around Sidoze glared at the closest at hand. "Im giving you all one chance to talk. The one that gives me the information I want gets to live, the others die. So who wants to talk first?"

Juno presses her sword point harder into the throat of the gangster she has pinned down. "Speak quickly, fools, this is your one chance for salvation!" she tries to reason with them.

Diplomacy 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21 (if you'd rather this be an Intimidate check, GM, then it's +5 to the roll instead of +12, so only a 14 Intimidate... ugh)

As the Clubbers start to come to, they assess their situation.

Why you attack us? We wasn't doin' nuthin' to youse, one observes, looking at Sidoze.


"Nothin' yet," Juno snaps. "I'll kill this one, that'll loosen their lips," she says, and prepares to plunge her rapier into her thug's throat, hoping that he'll offer some information to save his life.

"Because we are the Night Ravens and this is our turf. She (gestures at Juno holding the rapier) is a member of our gang. And we don't take kindly to others threaten our members. Tends to make us rather mad. Right Grigori? What about you Andrezi?" Sidoze shoots a look at both, the large scared man that had downed the clubbers with ease as well as the deadly looking man with the assortment of knives.

" I will be asking the questions now Clubber. Now before my associates loose their tempers and kill you all who would like the chance of living? As I said whoever gives me the information we want lives the rest dies. Better speak quickly before one of your friends does first."

The one under Sidoze says, Fine! Okay! What do you want?

Andrezi shoots Sidoze a look that should be more deadly than any of his blades, obviously angered by the man using his name. Attempting to maintain a united front against the Clubbers, the assassin swallows his pride for a moment, but will certainly address the situation later.

"How about for starters, why you were stupid enough to threaten the lovely young lady about to kill one of your friends? Just for information's sake, 'friends' it would be in your best interest to answer all of our questions quickly and satisfactorly lest we have drag the answers out of you forcefully...we are rather good at that." Andrezi says slowly running one of his curved blades across a Clubber's cheek, drawing a thin line of blood from the wound.

"I'm not very inclined to let them live at this point...perhaps I can be persuaded otherwise." turning his attention ever so slightly to Quill, "From what I saw I doubt they have any skills worth putting to use."

"I had a thought of crowd control, but you are right. Best not involve a foe in that, and a poor one at that."


"Then it's settled? The locals will appreciate it if we dispose of these criminal nuisances," Juno says coldly.

Sidoze shrugs and looks at the others. "Kill them they dont know anything. Just keep it quiet, unless of course they know anything about their gang we would be interested in knowing." Sidoze pauses giving the bandits a chance to speak as he rises washing his hands of them.

Sorry andrezi was busy with college atm and was hoping Andrezi's name might carry a lil weight and get them to loosen their tounges but oh well
