You roll dice like this [dice ]1d10[ /dice] but without the extra spaces. Also, please post in character unless you're using the [ooc] tags.

Everyone is either riding their own horse or riding in a wagon with a traveling merchant going past Oleg's and offered those without horses a ride.

He appears to be a well-built middle-aged human male. Brown hair and eyes. Introduced himself as Xenos Tobler.

Shortly after leaving Restov, the merchant Xenos attempts to strike up a conversation, "So what's a fine group of relatively young folk such as yourselves doing heading to a dump like Oleg's? He's not that friendly, though his wife is a very lovely and personable woman."

You see a tall, straight-backed man with toned musculature. Cropped brown hair, lantern jaw, and cold blue eyes. He wears a simple natural cotton tabard over his armor, which is conspicuously clean. He sits astride a chestnut horse clad in scale armor. A lance is fastened to his mount's saddle, while a longsword and dagger are holstered at his belt and a shield on his back.

"Oh, the usual. Gold, fame, honor, that sort of thing. We have all received a charter to survey the lands south of Oleg's and report back to the Swordlords. You can bet they are eyeing it for development and expansion. A new nation! And I plan on making the story of that nation one of valor and justice." He bows from the waist in his saddle, "I am Ilya Shukhov, Knight-Errant of Iomedae. And this," he pats his mount on the neck with a gauntlet-clad hand, "is Uli, my faithful friend. What takes you down into the Stolen Lands?"

Male Half-Elf Bard 1

The fellow riding beside Xenos pulls his intent gaze from the surroundings to focus on the man. Putting away a piece of chalk (which he'd been using to mark on a piece of parchment), he says in a friendly tone, "I'm looking to get some exercise after being cramped up in schools for the last six years! My father thought a "proper education" in Absalom would do me some good, though I must say I never quite took to the city as much as I did the open road...In any case, on seeing the fine folks of Restov needed a skilled cartographer, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get back in the saddle." The man obviously has elven blood judging from his tallish ears and fine features. He is dressed for the road, but his traveling cloak doesn't fully hide a suit of exquisite armor--for all appearances seemingly made of leaves. Coupled with an ornately carved longbow, the wealth the half-elf must possess is readily apparent to a merchant of any training. After a pause, he looks to the knight as if remembering something, then adds, "Oh, and I'm Erian El'ranelen, son of Sevren. Perhaps you've heard of him?"

Dice:
1d10 ⇒ 8

Erian

Spoiler:
Rumor:Some people report that a unicorn lives in the Narlmarches, but sightings of the magnificent creature have fallen off in
recent months. Perhaps the unicorn was driven out by the bandits?

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

The short half elf sits in the shade of the wagon. He looks tired and bored with the travelling and offers little in the way of conversation. Like Erian, Polsen is clearly of mixed parentage; his ears are prominent and his build slight. His skin is dark and his hair a shock of white. beneath his cloak is a suit of finely crafted and well maintained dark leather armour. His pack seems to contain little and is being used as a make shift pillow.

Xenos loops the reigns around a post on the wagon and stands up and leans over to shake Ilya's hand. "A pleasure to meet you good sir." Sit's back down and turns to listen to Erian then says while shaking the half-elfs hand, "A pleasure to meet you as well. A proper education is good to have, but getting your hands dirty makes you understand the true way of things."

Xenos yells into the bag of the wagon, "And what about you lad? Just going to sleep away the week long trip to Oleg's? Tell us a little about yourself son."

small post to show a dot. (^_^)

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

Polson wipes the sleep from his eyes and holds out his hand to the big man. Polson Lacey he mutters and not much to tell other than my purse is empty! His accent is difficult to pin down and after leaving the silence until it goes beyond awkward Polson withdraws into the wagon.

Xenos gives Polson a firm handshake in return while saying, "Sleeping now means you'll be on guard duty tonight boy, you any good at such things?" Xenos winks knowingly then turns forward again.

"The Stolen Lands, even the Greenbelt, are a dangerous place. Bandits, wolves, mites, kobolds. Well, the kobolds aren't too bad as long as you leave them alone." He waits to see how folks react to that last little piece of info.

Male Half-Elf Bard 1

Erian nods his head in agreement, "Yes, my father always said that judging a whole race by the actions of an individual is a disservice to the race, and likewise judging an individual by the actions of a whole race is a disservice to the individual. I favor pen and voice to blade and bow when feasible. Of course, this doesn't apply if someone is trying to override my voice with their blade!" He has already taken his chalk back out and set to sketching, not missing a stroke even as he looks up to talk with Xenos.

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

Sure he says pulling his cloak tight, as long as I get my rest...

"Your father sounds like a wise man." The well armed woman says from atop her white steed. Her voice full of wisdom as her presence exudes confidence. "The name's Constance Superne of Restov, recently commissioned by the Church of Erastil. I've come to help with the bandit problem and bring some Justice to these lawless "Stolen Lands"."

The beautiful blonde woman says the last part matter of factly, no emotion on her face aside from a small smile and piercing blue eyes.

1d10 ⇒ 3

Male Half-Elf Bard 1

Erian nods, in a rather courtly manner, to Constance. "Well met then, Constance Superne of Restov. It grieves me that banditry is so endemic among us "enlightened" races. In my travels as a youth I witnessed bandit attacks from the Crown all the way down to the Obari Ocean. It seems greed is in no short supply...As for my father, well, I suppose when you've lived for a few hundred years you pick things up here and there!"

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

Listening to the others making a good impression Polson sighs and drags himself from his makeshift bed. "Well if I am going to be guarding tonight I don't suppose someone has some spare rations they could ease my way?". Polson shift nervously and eyes up the other travellers in turn.

Xenos smiles at Constance and says, "I was hoping at least one of you would be among the faithful of Erastil. It's been said that he sometimes takes the shape of a simple huntsman an walks the woods of Golarion. Maybe y'all well be lucky enough to meet him." With that Xenos laughs and asks the horses, "Would you two be so kind as to move just a little faster? I'd like to reach Oleg's before I die of old age."

"It is a pleasure to meet a fellow follower." Costance responds to Xenos. "I wish I had extra rations, but unfortunately I was expecting to find a place to replenish my supplies before tonight."

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

Slumping back down Polson rubs a hand on his grumbling belly and sighs.

Black Fang:
Polson digs around any bags carried in the cart, searching for 'spare' rations. If he finds some he only takes a little.

Male Half-Elf Bard 1

"Ah, do not worry for food. There is a bountiful table right out there!" Erian points toward the tree line. "If we're short on supplies, I'm sure after a few hours hunting we'll be eating a hearty meal of wild mushrooms, venison, and cattail root!" He seems very eager to demonstrate this as he looks between Constance, Xenos, and the others.

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

"Forgive me brother, but I am more used to my food being served by a comely wench alongside a few ales. Berries and nuts will not sustain me but I will happily trade you some coin for a fresh rabbit.".

Polson

Spoiler:

"Erastil shall prov.." Xenos is cut off by Erian's enthusiasm.

Xenos looks at Erian while saying, "Don't just talk about it son, do it."

Male Half-Elf Bard 1

Erian laughs heartily at Polson's comment and Xenos's exhortation. "No need for coin, friend! We'll have too much to worry with in the coming weeks, I'm sure, to be concerned about keeping a bill of services...Once we find a good site for camp, I'll head out to see what can be had. Anyone else up for a little hunting? Perhaps a bit of "field worship" to honor Old Deadeye?"

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

Black Fang:
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16

Everyone see's Xenos quickly pull a finely crafted hand crossbow from under his cloak and point it at Polson, who is just beginning to dig through stuff in the wagon. "Son, if you're hungry, ask, don't take. That 'better to ask forgiveness than permission' crap don't work with me." Xenos puts the crossbow away, then says, "Water's in the back barrel on the left side. Bread in the top crate next to it. Salted pork in the crate under the bread."

Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor

"I might be able to help locate some game, but my skills with a bow leave something to be desired." Constance begins looking around for signs of wildlife.

Not sure if you want Perception or Survival.

1d20 ⇒ 18 add +7 for Survival or +9 Perception.

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

Polson grins at Xenos and swiftly cracks open the crate containing pork. "Sorry for the misunderstanding, guess it's a cultural thing" Polson mutters through a swiftly stuffed mouthful of food...

Male Human (Romandan) Warrior 4

Caelin wakes up when Polson moves something very close "Good morning... by Erastil a Dokkalfar! What nightmare am I iin today or am I still hang over and have blurry vision" Caelin touches Polson arm making sure it's really there and say "Well I have heard of having weird companion but this is as good as it gets I suppose, Caelin is my name by the way"

Grinning broadly while pulling his longbow from its case on his saddle, Erian says confidently, "If we find one, this bow can drop a deer at twenty paces! If the rest of you want to head on and find a good site for camp, we can head out for a bit of hunting, then double back to find you."

Hunting:
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

Foraging for food will get us one person fed for every 2 points over a DC 10. With Constance already rocking a 25, we should be good to go!

And speaking of food...I'm off to cook supper for the little ones myself! Feel free to logically "auto-pilot" Erian as necessary.

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

Polson shrugs at Constance and attempts (and fails) at a charming smile. "I volunteer to remain in the 'finding a camp' group" Polson says while gesticulating towards the hunting group with a handful of pork. "Good luck" he says before laying back in the shade.

Male Human (Romandan) Warrior 4

Caelin smiles and says, "Hey! PORK!!"[b] takes a piece of pork and before he takes a bite says, [b]"Only need some mead now, a merry song or a good story and a nice woman to have some fun" Caelin takes eats a bit of pork to taste it and says, "Taste fine, thank you very much Polson and about the beard you should have one makes you more manly" Caelin smiles at Constance and says, "A pleasure to meet you also don't see such a woman like you everywere, and what did you say your name was?" Caelin smiles and says, "Oi! I have a bow also, need a hand?" Caelin pulls his shortbow from back and winks.

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

"You're welcome" says Polson, rubbing his palm across his smooth chin before chuckling at Caelin. "I think I may grow to like you friend..."

Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor

Constance smiles at Caelin. A Smile that lets him know its a pleasure to meet him, but at the same time informs him that she is NOT the kind of woman he was talking about having fun with. "The names is Constance, Constance Superne of Restov."

Male Human (Romandan) Warrior 4
Polson Lacey wrote:

Caelin smiles and says,"Well your old enough already to know that" laughs loudly and whispers to Polson "I've had warmer winter's then Constance" laughs laudly again givin' a happy smile and a wink to Constance and say, "I respect a warrior when I see one, be it a woman or a man" looks at Polson "or a dokkalfar" pats Polson in the back and says,"I'll bring something if I can to repay your kind gesture friend" Caelin looks for the hunting party to join them.

Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor

Constance can't help but chuckle a little at Caelin's joke, even if it was at her expense. She feels better hearing the next line and decides that he is a well meaning, if somewhat racous, and continues without saying anything more.
