Completely ignoring the two allied meatbags, 2BR considers his options. A crack in his bioreactor is leaking radioactive goop into places where the radioactive goop is not supposed to leak, even with Muffet's patch job. Other than that, he's spinning hot. Extremely hot.

Hot enough to make mincemeat out of everything in front of him. 2BR activates his immovable buckler for support, and brings out the stolen mech cannon.

> Your assistance is greatly appreciated Dexter.

MCKhaos, I'm so sorry for what is about to happen. I dearly hope that prisoner does not step outside in the next 15 milliseconds.

Spending two ammo to make two additional Mech Cannon attacks, and two blood to make... another two attacks. Uping the Ante. Termination Protocols are active. I'm so, so sorry.

As Dexter has a moment with Retzack, 2BR absolutely lays waste to the distracted guards. It is horrifying and messy, and was cut out of the film to remove the NC-17 rating, so I can't go into too much detail.

The way forward is clear, although warning alarms ring in the air from the explosion down the hallway.

In the distance through smoke and gore you see a small figure emerge from a broken cell. She grunts in pain and collapses to the ground.

What do you all do?

-------------------------------------------

Sona, you manage to terminate the kill switch before it can deliver a fatal blow. However, the sensors suggest that whoever is wearing the collar still took a healthy blast and has fallen unconscious.

Rudimentary defensive protocols in the collar begin whirring up, realizing that there is some interference in the system.

What do you do?

That's... pretty specific Dexter rights himself Yeah... not sure I'm comfortable with that he says, before standing fully , and taking pity on the Vampire, he wasn't the only one with a painful past. Listen, when this is over, if you want to talk... about anything, just... I'll be on the ship

he goes around the corner, just in time to watch 2BR reduce the guards to gelatin. Note to self, don't f!#! with the murderbot. then she stumbles out from the cell, I rush to her before anything else happens. Kneeling beside her, a carefully examine the collar, seeing if I can safely remove it.

What should I be on the lookout for?

The goblin girl is your target. The collar is fitted with a secondary mechanic kill-switch. An attempt to physically remove the collar would be dangerous.

What here is useful or valuable to me?

2BR's salvo miraculously avoided damage to the main control panel for the detention area. You could relatively easily free all of the captives if you desired.

Who’s really in control here?

You notice that one of the control lights in blinking in an unusual and unmistakeable pattern. This is an ancient nautical code. S ... O ... N ... A.

The code repeats.

Okay, if I survive this one, gonna have some interesting stuff to tell Charlotte Dexter thinks, fiddling with the collar. his working hand quickly flies to his comm, and hits the on before going back to examining the collar. Sona, my goddess on high No harm in a little flirtatious banter, might help the ice queen loosen up. I see you already are in the prisoner containment facility. could you try to countermand the kill switch, i'll do my best to protect her while you do.

with that, Dexter quickly finds the electrical nodes for the kill switch, placing himself as the path of least resistance between them. even if the kill switch is activated, it won't hurt the girl.

It had been months, almost a year since He had last seen Quibbick. the two had met in one of Grellick's establishments. she had already been a few drinks in when he sat next to her. He had intended for it to simply be a one-night thing, but instead of going from talking to more physical activities, they had simply kept talking, comiserating about working for a sociopath mostly. she and he had met a few times after that, she had become almost a friend. when he heard she might be in trouble, he had volunteered for the undercover assignment to rescue her. How has she changed since our last late-night talk?

Retzack thanks the Exposition Goblin that appeared out of nowhere then disappears in a puff of blue Logic Smoke.

"Hence, if one can but lead me to the bridge, I shall reap such a feast as to make yon Brbr's latest spectacle appear as a pleasant wine-soaked picnic amidst a field of sun drenched daisies. Then this ship shall be in little situation to blast anybody's anything. Hell, I might even cow enough for us to crew it and take it as a prize ship, if I'm feeling merciful."

Sounds good. I'll get these guys out of here. Dexter says, watching the prisoners shamble out of their cells, he kneels beside Quibick. He can't afford to carry her, not deep in enemy turf like this, so plan B. He reaches into his FTS bag, and pulls out a syringe, filled with high dose caffine, synthetic adrenalin, asprin, and the equivalent of a hearty lumberjack breakfast. common on university campuses (The perfect solution to an early class after a night of partying) it is dubbed the "Deluxe Alarm". oe injection should get Quibbick on her feet

Marking off a use of Adventuring gear

as he puts the empty syringe back into his bag, his fingers brush across a little device he forgot he had.

Bunker, before you leave, A little present for you. He pulls the device out of his bag, and tosses it to him. Place it down, hit the timer, and in thirty seconds, it will turn 1 gram of whatever it's touching into antimatter. Use it on one of the rooms we don't want them to retake.

Another use of adventuring gear, if McKhaos allows me to use adventuring gear to pull out explosives

As the strange man hands the techno-explosive to the robot, Retzack stands still. He takes pause from Reality. He's never really bothered to consider, or even look at, the Android. And he feels...safe?

He takes out his comm and replies in kind. His fingers type out the text message with speed that is anachronistic to his fancy white cuff-links.
