Guys, I just got done with my first week of college and I'm starting work alongside it next week. Between that stuff and homework I really don't think I'm going to have much time to myself, and what time I do have, I'd rather spend offline getting to know people.
So unfortunately, I'm going to have to withdraw from this game. (It's not you guys, I'm doing it for every game).

It wasn't clear from the description of the chamber whether the altar as on the same side of the cavern as us or across from us (on the other side of the water). Since Nathaniel stated that he was walking to the altar, I'm going to assume it's on the same side as us for now. If not, I'm guessing that Nathaniel and I would be as the edge of the water nearest to the altar.
Are we going to see a map or picture of the place?

The room is a large square, the pool taking up the center. The altar is at the other end.
Nothing has attacked you yet.
It takes more work for me to produce maps of the places, but I can give rough outlines.
As for underwater, I will have a general "regional" map to fill in as you explore.
