Rurisk and Brunora both slip and slide in the treacherous muck coating the floor of the tunnel and find themselves tumbling down the the slick chute into the same hungry darkness that swallowed Janiven. You are deposited unceremoniously in a shallow pool of reeking sewage. The only light in the area is the dim illumination from your comrade's torches up at the top of the pipe.
Watching his footing, Peteppo steps gingerly up to the edge of the pit and jabs his torch at the darkness to no avail.
"Is everyone alright down there?" the gnome asks, his voice quavering. Janiven was the only member of their group who seemed to know her way around this maze of horrible tunnels - if she was gone, how would they ever find their way back to the surface? Would he ever see the sun again?
Bloody fantastic!" Rurisk growls, wiping slime off his face. He dearly wished that Peteppo was down here with him - so he could wring his bloody neck!
