If Bri uses Wall of Ice to create a Plane of Ice over top water, will it float and support weight?

Ice Plane: A sheet of strong, hard ice appears. The wall is 1 inch thick per caster level. It covers up to a 10-foot-square area per caster level (so a 10th-level wizard can create a wall of ice 100 feet long and 10 feet high, a wall 50 feet long and 20 feet high, or any other combination of length and height that does not exceed 1,000 square feet). The plane can be oriented in any fashion as long as it is anchored. A vertical wall need only be anchored on the floor, while a horizontal or slanting wall must be anchored on two opposite sides.

What are you anchoring it to?

Will it float? I'd say yes depending on the thickness, sort of like a mini-iceberg.

Will it support weight? That will depend on the thickness. I'd imagine 1 inch won't support weight or could crack, but 6 inches could depending on how much weight is crossing.

With this arc being more "divine" in nature and time crunch necessitating specific actions... In the aquatic terrain, even combat is magic based and stealth/sneak is inapplicable.

Sorrin is a bit on auto-pilot. He's focused on shipboard relations, sailing, becoming a better leader of men and women.

Let me know if you need specific rolls. Mostly, he's putting his back and heart into it.

Calculated out pay and loot split now that we're back in Shaw.

We found 5 mwk rapiers, assuming we're giving those to crew. 8 out of 20 of our veterans have mwk rapiers now I believe. We still need to find buyers for the wyvern egg and wyverns, which the crew will get a share of due to their involvement.

Crew gets paid a share of the looted cargo, gems, and cloth we found. We gave the crew a double share this time around for their long/hard work. Total wages paid by ship to crew for 4 days at sea are 241.2gp, already subtracted from ship funds.

Adding in their wages crew gets paid 58.00 gp each. Ship funds get 1350gp from shares.

Total ship fund is currently 10007.56gp.

This is assuming when we actually sell the loot. I have the feeling we'll be doing a lot of running around before that happens? I just wanted to get the numbers straight.

You will be able to sell the loot along the way, or you can have the Capt, or part of the crew do that behind the scenes. I'd suggest that unless you were going to use some part like the eggs for barter or negotiation. Perhaps Sam will have an interest.

On that note, I just started my new job yesterday working in a government agriculture laboratory. I'm going to toss this idea out for the group to comment on. This game has been running strong since July 8, 2014, and several players: Astri and Bri have been with me the entire time. Then I was fortunate enough to get Chell and Sorrin to join early on. And we recently rounded out the party with Sargas and I know it's always tough being the last person to join an established group.

Over the years the posting has been all over the place: with multiple post an hour, to a more mellow couple posts a day. I know real life and work has kicked in, which kinks the posting rate and depth. I don't want this game to fizzle out, I would like to bring it to a grand battle and conclude this main story arc. That grand story arc concludes with this moon rise. Once that arc is concluded we can decide what to do next: we could take a break, or we could retool the party at the end of the adventure arc. That would be a fantastic time to do it. We would have satisfactorily finished one of the two main story arcs. I could see it taking another month, or so, to bring the current arc to a satisfying end.

I'm just putting the idea out for everyone to think about and chatter about.

I'm proud as a GM to get such a committed group the players and how well you all have gotten along playing and developing your characters. It is that kind of dedication that has made this the 9th most posted in game in Paizo PbP history. Thank you.

It is entirely to your credit that it has gone this long. And a good half the posts are yours anyway. During our quiet moments, most DM's would have lost faith. But you were always there, spurring us forward. I appreciate the dedication you have put forth to keep it going.

As for the above. I am fluid. Whatever you want to do. I certainly wouldn't mind a retool to potentially take advantage of all the new classes out there.

Hey there, I should be more communicative... But, been swamped. Family, work, side work, last week at a Vegas conference.

I'm in and will redouble my posting efforts.

I am committed to finishing the arc and whatever comes after.

With Astrianna taking point (as bards do) and Chell central to the divine arc... Doesn't feel like there's much for Sorrin to do.

I don't mean that to be a cop out. There's not much activity on the networking and fleet building which was his bent.
