As Orsin comes into view the tiefling in C7 attacks with his crossbow.

He misses and drops his crossbow then puling out his mace.
The tiefling in back, A7, casts a spell at the bard when he comes in view. Orisn make a will save DC 15
From the last tiefling the area you are in is darkened. All tlight sources are dimmed by one degree. Duncan is uneffected.

Out of curiosity, was dropping the wand my only allowed action for the round? I wasn't quite sure what the spell that affected me exactly was, so if I have actions remaining, I'll definitely take them, lol.

Oh, now I get it. Can I move to D7. Same attack roll vs the dude with 2 blades? Hit AC 16 with no charge
Yes you can. You hit and he falls prone.
The creature at A7 is a spellcaster and he does look like a mummy. His skin is withered and dried to a leathery appearance. He has loose tatters of clothing on him.
FYI, he doesn't have two blades either it's just the token I snagged that shows up easier on the map.

The weathered spell caster reaches out to touch the hulking armed man with his withered hands.

Laying his cold touch on the John causing him to be shaken. John begins to radiate an evil aura of corruption.
John you have the shaken condition -2 att and dam, saves and skill/ability checks. Duncan this may set your character off...thinking John is evil. LOL

Orsin blinks for a a few moments, after sidestepping the mace, not really altogether clear on what he was thinking a moment ago. As he realizes he was charmed, he releases a "Son of a-"
He grabs his longsword with both hands now, swinging at the tiefling at G8 with wild determination.
Longsword with PA, bless: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 1 = 15
Longsword with PA, Arcane Strike: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

Since John and Duncan seem to have everything in hand, Andrea moves over to the Bastard Orsin down and Stabilizes him for later. The Bastards would find that their choice to slie off the hand of negotiation would cost them dearly.

Possible Spellcraft to identify the spell?
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Unfortunatly, Andrea's gaze was too focused on the bleeding tiefling on the ground to turn in time to see the 'mummy' cast the spell.

Orsin extends a baritone claw towards the mummy and releases a powerful note. The sound takes shape as bolt of sound, the blasts the creature squarely in the chest, passing invisibly through all intervening obstacles.
Devastating aria: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
He uses his move action to then retrieve the fallen wand.
Sonic damage, no save, costs 1 round of bardic performance.
EDIT: Ack, misread the rules. The damage is (1d4+3)/2 against creatures. Which in this case means I dealt 2 sonic damage.
