Everyone hears and sees a rolling mass of squeaking, bodies flashing gnarly teeth. They are moving towards your light and are 50 feet away. they are moving towards John and Duncan.

There is bit of shadowy wisp of movement 30 feet in front of John.

Faelyn and Lucrezia:
The two of you catch (G16) an amorphous creature loosely resembles a cross between a large snake and an insect. It has black oily skin, and parts of its very flesh blend seamlessly into the shadows. Its constantly moving, writhing form makes it difficult to identify from a distance. it is sliding down the building from the roof it is currently 10 feet above the ground.

"That the f!@% is that thing? A damn shadowbeast?" Lucrezia turns and fires a couple of arrows at the "amorphous creature" that she sees. She'll grab a couple of her special arrows in case that it is. Better to waste them and be wrong and not use them and be right...

Faelyn Only:
The shadowy snake is from the plane of shadows, its know as shadowgarm. The creature can not fly but it falls as if under a featherfall spell, never taking falling damage. It preferes to attack from above falling on its victims. They are not harmed by bright light but prefer dim light, magical light causes it to slow. It can blend in dim light providing it a 20% missed chance. Avoid the slime on its inky body.

Spells up:Blessing of Watch +1 Hit +1 saves vs. fear.

Rat Swarm - ran towards John and Duncan
Faelyn - casts enlarge person on duncan
Lucrezia - shot two arrows at H-16, the first one misses. The second shot look dead one but it missed.
duncan - casts devine favor.
Fiosa - pulls her short sword and has her cure wand out. She steps 5ft (J-18)once Andrea vacates her area.
Ermolos - Ermolos will chop at the shadowgarm creature. Dealing 12HP of damage.

You are confident that its a shadowbeast in the broadest sense of the term. From your study a shadow best is a creature that hails from the plane of shadow. The creature fighting John is lesser shadow. Avoid its touch attack it deals strength damage. It blends in the shadows for concealment. its undead, incorporeal and has some limited channel resistance. it has undead traits and its incorporeal so magic weapons are best or spells (50%damage). Magical light slows the snake attacking Ermolos and keeps it from being concealed. It has a slimy body that is poisonous!

Faelyn looks at the shadowgarm and screams. He appears to be yelling, but no one hears an audible sound (Ear Piercing Scream)

2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10 and dazed for 1 round unless it makes a 17 Fort save then it is half damage and no daze.

My light spell is on Lucrezia's bow. I'm not sure if we need higher level light or not.

I think you would have to 5 ft to L,M 17,18. You can reach John's undead/incorporeal enemy and the swarm.

The issue is you are now occupying space of other PC's, so I'm going to rule you had to move forward 5 ft to permit your body to grow. You are now occupying L/M 17/18. otherwise you would be pushing john, an immovable object out of the way along with squishing Foisa. From this position no you can't reach the shadowgarm. You can reach the lesser shadow and the rat swarm.

That is building on your other side.
