This is Council of Thieves AP. Westcrown, City of Twilight, once was the center of Aroden's faith, but now it symbolizes despair. By day, the city remains a vibrant center of trade; but, by night only those with a death wish venture out.
The dwarf was confused with his metals. The question is do I want you to wait till after this module to correct the weapons. that would certainly make the upcoming battles more entertaining. It, also, give Gruum something to yak about.

What?!
DM Do you wanna wait for Lucrezia and John. I don't think they have any buff abilities.
Not sure if the Devil is gonna port in or smash the door but if we getanother round I'll take it.
Protection from evil prevents contact by summoned evil creatures.
Was it summoned or called?
Duncan - you do not know if it was summoned or called, you say the remnants of a strong conjuration aura. What you deduced was Tweaker somehow triggered the device. Did he speak the creatures name and hence calling it forth or inadvertently set a chain of events forth that summoned the creature you don't know.
As far as waiting on Lucrezia and John, I would like to continue moving it forward today.
It was such a long week for me. Very long drive, very poor cell reception during most of it. Some pretty scenery though and I got to see the Grand Canyon.

Both this round and last round he has missed me by less than 5.
If power attacking he needs to make saves vs my JARRING armor:
Opponents who swing too hard at this armor soon learn to regret it. The jarring shock that runs up the attacker’s arm as their weapon connects makes it feel as though they have just struck a wall.
Whenever an opponent with a melee weapon strikes at the wearer using the Power Attack feat and misses by 5 or fewer, he must make a Fortitude save or be sickened until the end of his next turn. The save DC is 10 plus the bonus that Power Attack would have applied to the damage roll if the attack been successful.
Would Orsin draw an AoO? Looking at the map makes it look like he is 5'stepping I belive. J,11 to I,12
The grid lines shouldn't be there, I'm looking at the printed lines on the actual map for the AP that is why the characters look a bit smaller. Otherwise, there are multiple PCs in the same hex. Sorry about the confusion.

2 points from me (14 to 12) so we need to do something like having Lucrezia trip it with her flail perhaps. No one has yet lost more than 2 COn I believe but we are approaching that point where HP loss will quickly exceed my ability to heal(Fortunatly, I am invisible)

Of course things would get very awkward with us running with a full power BR on our heels tearing up the mansion.
Um..The mission has hit a little snag Areal. The mansion? It isn't there any more.
Edit: This battle is something that shows how our 'Slug it out' style needs to be tweaked since critters are starting to show more special powers and resistances. Tripping, disarming and other manuvers might be worth looking at.

For fans of the Half-Life games, there is a conversion called Black Mesa that redoes Half-Life 1 with a new engine, graphics and even some tweaks. Very awesome and worth checking out.
Posted in the in game thread before reading this one. Totally forgot I can trip with my flail, it's not a weapon I normally take with my characters. I'll have to try that out next round.
