This is Council of Thieves AP. Westcrown, City of Twilight, once was the center of Aroden's faith, but now it symbolizes despair. By day, the city remains a vibrant center of trade; but, by night only those with a death wish venture out.

Others might have clues we need but she has the keys we need.
Found out about this in PFS when without right things then the person would not even talk to the characters. Guess I am thinking too much about past player experiences and trying to learn it is better safe than run into brick wall.
That sounds way too much like 'Pixel-hunting' (google the term) that can turn ugly

Might be but I have had multiple adventures in PFS that was like that. One had a mission that person was told to break the thing and bring back inside but without Knowledge Engineering then the mission was a failure because had to take back unbroken thing. GM would not budge on it either.
Plus we are commoners, so any edge is a good thing since most are likely going to be looking down at us.

You all have been provided clues and suggestions. You have about all the clues that can given right now, some things you have to actually explore and find out. There is no one absolutely correct method that is left for the players to decide. I'm flexible and can adjust pretty quickly.

I'm a bit confused on what you are asking.
I think Tweaker was just commenting on a bad experiance he had in a game.

Is this about the orphans? I haven't really looked into it, yet.
Yes. Andrea has taken Emily(the girl who invited them into the basement) under her wing and is teaching her numbers and such, hence the scene at lunch with Fiosa. I'm angling at a plotline where Andrea teaches Emily to be independent, skilled, and such.

We can no doubt still kibbitz about what we will do and such
1.Meet and greet so everyone knows we are here
2.Andrea and Orsin charm the guests and locate Majordomo
3.Spread gossip
4.Tweaker and perhaps Duncan/Lucrezia can scout around for good places to search
5.Avoid overindulging, get other people drunk, flatter and please.
6.Once location of Knot/Vault is found, make plan to get in(when people sleep?)
7.ind ways to draw out party.(Orgy? do a Mini Six-trials?)

I will repost the part from the meeting with Lady Grulios.
Quote:
She puts her fingers to her mouth to hold back the chuckle from Duncan's crowd comment. "No, it probably is not your type of crowd." She pauses for a few seconds, "Our house and the Missepe's are currently on the do not invite list but don't let that get you down. The mayor like his parties and he likes his theater. That is a good topic to discuss with him."
"His food and drink are of the finest quality but some caution on the quantities should be taken. Never refuse...that is impolite but don't get too thirsty." She puts her hand over her goblet to demonstrate.
She thinks about the party a second, "People like gossip they trade information for gossip. Perhaps we can play this nicely. Why don't I give you two pieces of gossip to trade only say this to one person each and note you who spoke too. When it gets around I will know who talked. Perhaps we can find out who is behind some of the killings"
"Tell one of the nobles that you were contacted by the Grulios family to guard dock 31 next Moonday, that some shipment is coming in."
"Tell another noble that the Gruilos have located the killer of their family member and an agent is coming in on A ship from the east to handle it next Oathday on Dock 33. You can claim your former party member Shinon told you this and he is leading the hunt."
She stands up and clinks goblets with you, "That could get the crowd moving and a possible attack on my family. it may smoke some out of their holes. We may be needing you swords if this pans out."
Ah, ok, I usually just glaze over the scenes that I am not a part of.
No worries Duncan. I've done night shift before and know how hard it can be. It really sucked when I went back to it after maternity leave. I think I was sleep deprived for a whole year.
Duncan I wish I could figure out how to do what Megan does in the Legacy game with her maps. I Would like to be and to reveal room by room on the map. I haven't been able to figure that out on map tools.

She said she used Paint Shop to do it. I saw her post that but easy to miss those posts without a portrait.
The export function doesn't work, or at least, I have not been able to get it to work that is why I use the snipping tool for dropbox. I get an error message.

The noble that John and Duncan are speaking to is, more specifically, Mrs. Tilernos, who Orsin was discretely encouraged to get good and drunk by a passerby on the streets of Westcrown. I sense she may be important for some reason.

Baldwin. Weird thought but would a 'purge' after our binge help reduce any penalties? Yes it is gross, but I do think it would be something Andrea is familiar with considering her past. A little visit to the vomitarium helps make more room.
